Sellman Park

My dogs absolutely love coming here and walking through the creek. It's a small oasis to get away from it all and enjoy some quiet time.

Super cute park! Park has 2 sections, one is fenced in for toddlers and younger kids. Second park is open to the woods on a hill so if your little one is adventurous, be cautious. The hill the 2nd park backs to has an asphalt trail to lead to the woods where there's a creek with multiple fun ways to cross. Make sure to watch for poison ivy/oak if you go off trail.
There a few swings, I believe 4, 2 toddler and 2 regular. Tennis court, volleyball court and a few other things to explore. There's also a bathroom but we did not go inside so I can't speak on cleanliness or if there's changing tables.

This is a nice playground for smaller kids. It's gated, which is a bonus. There is a separate playscape for older kids, and a basketball, volleyball and tennis court and swings.

Great park to bring kids to. It is located behind the middle school and has two playgrounds, a shelter, swings, basketball courts, and fields. There are also woods nearby that you can walk in. Restrooms are available in the summer. There are grills available for cookouts.

The perfect park to take a toddler to! Imaginative and very new 2-5 equipment in a gated play area (including chimes, drums, a spinning color wheel, a hut to climb into). The only downside is that unlike the well-shaded 5-12 equipment, it is in direct sunlight in the afternoon and the fake grass/padding lining the play area holds in the heat so it can get hot.

Park also has tennis courts, a nice shelter, and a short walking path.

The park is adjacent to Madeira Middle School so sometimes there are school kids out playing on weekdays during their recess time.

Nice park that is great for little kids. Has its own little kid section that is fenced in and has shade. The other part area is close enough that you could watch your older kids and younger kids at the same time

Great park for toddlers to 2nd graders or for walking/running laps. The gated toddler playground is the biggest draw for me.

We have an annual picnic there compliments of our Madeira friends. Wonderful!

We love Sellman park. Great park. Always clean. Equipment is in good condition and safe. And one only ever met friendly people there. In fact, we met or future neighbors there. We go almost daily in the spring and summer.

Didn't even know this park existed until I stumbled upon it. I LOVED the gated playground and the gazebo with picnic tables. Will definitely go here more often.

I have been collecting pine cones and I found some walnuts I am making wreaths for presents with the pine cones so I was pleased to find some more since 1963 I have enjoyed this park my father grew up here and knew Mr Selman he was his history teacher in the 40s

Nice park

Here is a secret about this park...there is a small path that leads to an large open field. This field is a great place to play Frisbee or have a picnic.

Nice shelter and grills for a family picnic. Great play area for kids and toddlers. Also tennis, basketball and volleyball courts.

Great show by Naked Karate Girls and beautiful fireworks.

Perfect park for little ones 1-3.

Very fun park for all ages!
Bring an electric fan for the shelter during the summer.
