Hueston Woods State Park Campground

Had a great time Halloween camping. Special thanks to all staff , camp host and volunteers that make this possible.

Restroom was ... nasty 🤮 ... but the campground was nice the trails was awesome my kids had a blast

GREAT experience! I hadn’t been here since I was a kid, and I spent 2 nights and 3 days camping here.. 100% would recommend, go to the beach, hike the trails, it’s a great campground!

Bathrooms and showers are clean, water was nice and hot, playground areas were well maintained, electricity at our site worked fine, nearby Indian Mound trail was a nice hike with multiple points to access the creek and a waterfall

Fun place a little crowded compared to Caesar’s Creek, but a lot to do none the less

Electric sites are typically loud and many are on severe hills or very small. Non electric sites however are flat, spacious, and much more quiet. Hueston Woods has a lot to do for everyone- fishing, hiking, swimming, boating, Nature center. We love it here and the place tends to be cleaner and better taken care of than other Ohio state parks.

Great Campground oh, a little more crowded and space is closer together than I prefer but that is just personal preference. There did seem to be many groups camping together which the close spaces would actually be a good thing. Many family-friendly activities and a movie shown at night. Great hiking trail down to the creek from the campground or lake access and many other trails and activities around the park. Nice playgrounds around the park as well.

My go to camping spot! Always a wonderful fun and safe time as well as great camping spots. Some are to on top of each other and some are on pretty high inclines but if you look good you'll find the good ones. ;) It's also my favorite state park with plenty of trails, picnic spots, fishing, hiking, swimming in the beach area, and site seeing. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and go and explore, you won't be disappointed! You can take your pets, there are plenty of restrooms (in season) and plenty of playgrounds also!

Had a great Halloween campout, there were 2 issues that we had, the larger bathroom was always out of toilet paper, there was no soap the whole weekend, and please bring back the campers stew, I know that group always did it, but we need to bring that back, everything has been taken away from the Halloween campout, and also, the jail needs to come back also

Absolutely love this place. Will ALWAYS RETURN no matter the occasion. Hopefully always with the company of my son's and Pops. As well as ANYONE that wants to enjoy multiple aspects of relaxation and the available options to utilize to the fullest. So many different things to do. Has a beach....623 acre lake....lodge....pool hella acres to explore....we ONLY HAD 2 DAYS

Great Campground, excellent hiking trails and frisbee golf, the frisbee golf course could be marked better as it is hard to find. We enjoyed camping here

Great campground. The a and b loops are pretty close together. Lots of bugs in the shower houses but they are clean. Great showers. Laundry. Wifi. Best park around.

Hueston Woods State Park Campground in College Corner, Ohio is 20 minutes off-highway with a great Lodge with dining. It has 2bar 5G cellular but the WiFi in the campground makes up for it. There are 6 TV antenna channels. The bathrooms could stand to be updated.

Our family went camping at the Hueston Woods. We had such an amazing time. The campground was clean, everybody was friendly and helpful. Other campers were happy and fun. There was a nice big checker board, nice playground, and restrooms were clean and stocked. The campsite hosts were kind, and worked hard. The beach was nice, lots of seagull poop in the grass tho. The dock/marina was nice to fish from. The nature center was small, yet neat to see the animals. This was a great experience and our family can't wait to go back again.

Nice campground seemed to have large lots. Nice park for the kids and the lake was beautiful.

My family is very nature friendly, and this state park, is an amazing reminder that nature is worth protecting. Swimming, boating, and decent fishing (in certain areas), this place is extremely family friendly. We enjoy camping here as often as possible. With great rates and clean sites, you cannot ask for more.

We love it. When I met my husband almost 26 years ago he told me about Hueston Woods and how he went many times to camp when we was a kid growing up, and we gone every year sometimes 2x a year since we met, taking the kids. I love it it such a nice park and campground so peaceful.
