My favorite burrito place! And one burrito feeds two of us. They are huge! Cafeteria style allows you to choose salsas of your choice.
And the hand scooped ice cream has SO many flavors, it's hard to choose. Try the CORN flavored ice cream !🍨

The food is great authentic Mexican and that chorizo was top notch. The ice cream was delicious and the popsicles were fun and unique. I look forward to returning once the grocery side will be open. The service was friendly, patient and outgoing. I enjoyed conversation with some of the team members.

This place is very good. My dad lived in Guadalajara and I was down there several times to visit him. La Plaza really reminded me of being in Mexico, and not in the stereotypical tourist areas. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was great. I had one of the hottest sauces I've ever had in my life, and I'm a chili-head. The ice cream counter was also fantastic with many choices. I'll definitely be back. The portions were also huge and the prices were low.

The food is well seasoned and very flavorful. I had chicken, pork and the most tender and flavorful barbacoa I've ever tasted! Customer service is excellent and they have ice cream! 🍦

Lots of delicious options Went, for some dessert twice. Ice cream 1 day popsicles another.. Had a quesadilla once Didn't take a picture but was huge and very good..

Great food. My first visit to La Plaza Taqueria did not disappoint. I got two steak tacos with sides of rice and beans. Everything was excellent. I will definitely visit this establishment frequently to taste everything they have to offer.

Outstanding! How did I not know this was here sooner? I have been going to the original in Lakewood for years. Think maybe the place in South Lorain on Clinton is every bit as good and a little cheaper but they definitely make a good argument for best Mexican food in Lorain county. Can't wait for their restaurant to open later this year.

Super nice staff and food is excellent. While getting food, definitely would recommend the ice cream. They have a plethora of flavors and you can get samples if you're interested. Not sure if homemade, but definitely tastes it.

My boyfriend and myself get La Plaza at least once a week. We are never disappointed. The service is always amazing, they answer every question we have with a smile. Their food is amazing. I always get the Grande steak burrito and it is so big I save half for lunch the next day. The ice cream shop they have is also amazing. I cant wait for their grocery store to open up. 5 stars go to La Plaza! You guys are awesome!

Pleasantly surprised when I walked through the doors, very clean&organised. The woman behind the counter was very kind&personable. At the moment it is a convenience store with a great little takeout kitchen. However, big things are coming! In May they will have added a Dining Hall, capable of hosting catering events. Coming in June/July will be the Bar. &lastly, in September the Super Market will be open! Very exciting if you asked me.
I tried the Barbacoa Burrito&it was very flavorful. I will definitely be back.

Wow food was delicious. More then I could eat, we could of shared just the nachos. Nice salad bar for extra topping all free. Will definitely be back.

The food is so good! Fresh, authentic and affordable. I love the salsa bar. The restaurant itself is very clean and great atmosphere with the music and wall murals! Highly recommend!

This little undiscovered gem reminds us of our years in New Mexico near the border: unpretentious, delicious and friendly. Business in the front with real tamales, house made salsas and pickled veggies, tacos (of course), and weekend pozole with plentiful portions---and a party in the back with an amazing selection of ice creams. Have you been hankering for some prickly pear ice cream? Mango with tajin sorbet? Coconut or nutella or pecan ice cream, or passionfruit popsicles? They have it. Treat yourself and introduce your friends. Muy delicioso and a great value as well.

Very tasty. I had the beef tacos and the meat was plentiful and delicious. Very reasonable cost. Better than Don Tequila's. Will return soon.

Great food and friendly service! Tried the 3 tacos meal with 1 of each carne asada, chicken and chorizo. All were delish, but my favorite was the chorizo. The salsas and saucebar was perfect to top my tacos with water I wanted. Also tried the pork tamales which were really good too! We ate in and one of the cooks brought over some warm grilled whole jalapeños, told us to squeeze some lime over them and they were so good! Rice and beans were fresh tasting too, but I wouldn't need those, since it was hard to eat all the food. Can't wait to go try some of their other things!

Went here for supper last night, I ordered the Totra, thinking it wouldn't be enough, I also ordered a small nacho, went home started with the nacho's, absolutely great! Never got to the Torta the nachos were a meal by themselves. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Please stop in and see these folks, great service and food!

We very much enjoyed our meals here. The setup for ordering was a bit different than we are used to, but we managed . Friendly staff and great food. 👍
