I only leave food reviews when I’m truly impressed. Which is why this is the only food review I’ve ever left.

We had mushroom fries, filet and risotto, pierogies, scallops and gnocchi and pear salad.

Everything was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and presented beautifully. Our server James was attentive, prompt and very friendly.

It may be pricier than some other restaurants, but it was worth every penny. Wish we lived closer so we could frequent more often. An absolute culinary joy. Thank you!

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Called to get reservations, received a very nice voicemail from the owner giving us seating options (inside or outside) and time options right around when we wanted to dine. Owner greeted me by name when we arrived and when we left. Food was EXCELLENT. Everyone got something different and we all loved our food. Drinks were good, waiter was hilarious, presentation was on point, cute little restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. As we left, I told the owner that we will DEFINITELY be back. Little gem of a place in lovely Vermillion.

I don't think I could give a higher review for a restaurant. Every time I leave this place, I am happy to pay the bill because the quality of the food so far exceeded what I paid. Plus the place is run professionally, they always return phone calls and accommodate reservations. The menu...there are so many good things, it's like Sophie's choice every time I start looking. Try this place out, I promise, you will be pleased. Anytime I read reviews like this I'm skeptical because I think this person must be family or financially involved, I promise, I am neither of those, just a customer who comes as often as I can.

This restaurant is one of our many gems in Vermilion. All of the food is carefully designed and prepared. The wine list is abundant with choice. The lobster bisque and pear salad is excellent and the fish board is outstanding . Josh runs an upscale, friendly establishment. Must see!

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Literally everything is perfection! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Don't come for a quick bite, this is an experience. This time around we had the OCP perogies with an filet add on and the short rib burger and the best fries around.

Absolutely NEVER a bad experience or bad meal. Gourmet cuisine designed for the pallet of a connoisseur, but a relaxed and casual atmosphere that welcomes both the aristocrat and local regulars. Perfectly designed, on purpose, to bring fine dining to all without classification. Whether it’s your first time, or your 20th time, the owners and staff make you feel welcome and absolutely at home. Your first visit ever will feel like a “welcome home” visit. If you’re from the local northern Ohio area, or visiting out of town, this is the one place you don’t want to miss out on!

What a Hidden Gem what a great place to have some fine dining with great service in a good atmosphere if you haven't been there it's a definite must the food is definitely on point

We have been traveling and The Wine Vault is the best we've had in a long time. Homemade sangria with a stainless steel straw that had a scoop on the end to dig the fruit out.
The fish board was fabulous; fried oysters, cream cheese wrapped in smoked salmon, tuna tartar. The lobster bisque and arugula salad were also wonderful. We sat outside and the service was good. Plus, we didn't have to dress up. Will definitely be back when in the area!

A gem hidden in the heart of Vermilion. Menu had options, such as steak tartare and fried oysters which I enjoyed thoroughly!

The Wine Vault is one of my favorite places to go! The tuna tartare is excellent. Juicy, flavorful and tender fillet. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

My wife and I spent a Friday evening here and it was lovely. The owner works behind the bar and was ver friendly. It sounded like most nights you need a reservation to get a table but we snuck into two seats at the bar. Wine and food are both fantastic!

Great food, friendly atmosphere. Not only good wine selection and advice, but also good mixed drink and beer selection. For a place that feels local during the off-season and had some people who knew each other, it was still welcoming and inviting for all.

Had the steak tartare and Argentinian wine, which paired excellently together. Josh the waiter was very knowledgeable and the staff was friendly. Thank you for running me down to hand me my phone I almost left there too!

The food was perfect but the experience and atmosphere were even better. We walked in with no reservation and were greeted so kindly and treated like family (actually better than depending on the family hehe). The food was even better than I could have imagined! 20 out of 10. I will be back very soon.

The drinks and food are amazing. We enjoyed all the different sangria and specialty drinks. The fried oysters were the best I've had so far. Definitely recommend for a date night
