Old Prague Restaurant

The food is authentic and delicious! The interior is dated and eclectic, if you like dated and eclectic you would probably give it a 5. I don’t so it’s a 4. If you are here, try the spatzle. Also the waitress was super nice and working the entire place on her own!!!! That being said, now I have to give it a 5😊.

Great outdoor dining! Live music on a Thursday night with a great crowd! Food was delicious. Music was great and servers were outstanding! Dog friendly. Live music every single night of the week.

Drove down here with my american fiancé to have him try some authentic czech food as I come from Czech Republic. We had the duck and goulash and both tasted like home. Our food took slightly longer to make which we didn't mind but we were given a free dessert for the inconvenience anyway. Great service, authentic food, we'll be back.

Atmosphere feels like Eastern European comfort. Service was awesome! Meal was savory!

The waiter was excellent. Very friendly and excellent at his job. This man deserves a raise. He was the only waiter there and he really stayed on top of every table.

Great place for Slovakian food, patio is a wonderful spot and a fantastic friendly staff. Family and friends of 13 called ahead for proper seating but very enjoyable atmosphere.

Also has great Czech beers in a bottle.

Food was very good and our server was friendly and attentive. Great experience and we drove from the south suburbs of Cleveland.

The bartender and cook let me come in just as they were closing down and made me a delicious meal after a super long day. I needed it badly. Their hospitality and compassion seem to be something that's hard to find anymore in the states.

Great place to try our first Czech food. In a neat part of town and an easy walk to a bunch of other cool stores around. Vermilion.

Great place to relax with a drink and some appetizers. Staff was super friendly and attentive. They had very enjoyable live acoustic music on the patio.

Very unique taste of Prague. I loved the sourkraut. The best menu items we tried were the potato pancakes and the sausage.

Wonderful place! The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Chicken Paprikash. Our bartender, I think his name was Evan (it started with an E) was Fantastic.

Passing through Vermilion, our party of four stopped at the Old Prague Restaurant. We had a delightful time. As other reviews mention, it is a nice, unique place with friendly service and good food. We all spent some time looking at the saltwater aquarium in the back room! A neat piece and a neat place. I recommend.

5 Stars! As a former employee I feel I should be extremely honest about what goes on behind the scenes. I applied for a line cook position & when I came in for the interview I was introduced directly to the owner. He is an amazing guy. With an amazing story. A true genuine guy who’s always puts the customer above all. Soon into working here I soon learned all the ropes very quickly thanks to the owners mother who besides having a strong Czechoslovakia accent, was the best teacher anyone starting out could ask for. I look back at the experience & I am grateful for everything they both taught me. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The genuine atmosphere with live music & great prices. Old Prague deserves awards for the dedication & comitment the owner has put in... My thoughts & prayers go out to the owner & his family, I hope all is going well... 5 Stars !
