I LOVE SUNSET STABLES !!!
MY FIRST TIME THERE TODAY.
WAS THE VERY BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR ME. LIN, AND HER STAFF, ARE SUCH WONDERFUL PEOPLE. SO NICE, TO TALK WITH.
VERY CARING PEOPLE WORKING THERE. LIN TOOK US ON OUR TRAIL RIDE. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING.
PEACEFUL AND THE HORSES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND VERY CALM.
WE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL TIME THERE.
I WOULD GIVE SUNSET STABLES
TEN STARS FOR AN EXCELLENT,
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING THERE.
THE OWNER LIN, IS A FANTASTIC, CARING, REALLY NICE PERSON.
ALONG, WITH HER WONDERFUL STAFF TOO. LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE. TRAIL RIDE WAS WONDERFUL TOO.

Had a blast on our Memorial Day trail ride. Our horses Micah and Jack were so well behaved and ADORABLE. The trail its self was shady and scenic. The staff were prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. We had fun walking around and looking at the animals. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity. Shout out to Chrissy for being a great guide!

This is such an amazing place. I used to bring my children here when they were little. They have nice open spaces and we saw the horses in the woods who weren't on the trail ride.
Our guide was knowledgeable and asked about experience. Be honest if it's your first time or 10th. You will have a happier ride with a good match.
It was a crisp Fall day and some of the leaves were holding tight.
We wound our way through the woods and got to navigate really nice paths. We were asked questions along the way and she gave clear directions when going up and down hills for newer riders.
The stables had a bunch of chickens in their pen who came over to say hello as well.
I really appreciated the platform to get into the saddle. Not as easy at 58 versus 38 and I appreciated the heads start up.
Cute little pumpkins dotted the farm and horses of all different colors were about the place.
Please tip well if you too have have good service. Their care for the horse and patron is first class.

First time rider here! This was a really fun experience and the staff were very friendly. I was a little nervous but they made me feel very comfortable. The trail was beautiful!

Krissy and Lucy were super sweet trail guides! It was a very peaceful and serene ride through the woods. Everyone stayed safe and the horses were beautiful. Felt like I was in a movie. Thank you!

Very friendly staff, This was my first time riding a horse since i was a kid, we had a great time and will definitely return again.

my family has been going there for years..between my favorite trail rides through Lincoln Woods & my daughters lessons. Love the staff, coaches & facility and of course the horses. so majestic to see the horses freely run to their stalls at feed time, which is usually at closing time so you have to watch behind closed gates in parking lot…understandably for your own safety.

Went on a horseback riding tour with my daughter. We loved it! Stuff was very nice and patient with us , answering all our questions, since we didn’t have a lot of riding experience. The ride was truly enjoyable, horses were very well behaved and we got to see even a couple deers during our ride. Being able to buy some fresh farm eggs was a bonus! We will be back for sure. Thank you for the wonderful ride and keep up the great job!

Everything was amazing and the horses were great especially for me, a first timer. Micah was who I got to ride and he is a perfect horse for beginners. My girlfriend rode Diamond, who she loved, and he was great. The staff we interacted with were all really nice and great help for a beginner. I would definitely come back and if I had the option I'd come weekly

My sister and my mom had a blast on the trail ride. The staff was very friendly and I loved my horse Fusion! Ill definitely be back!

Fantastic experience for the entire family. We arrived at Sunset Stables around 2 PM and after a short wait we were matched up with our horses based on height, weight, and riding experience. I was expecting a short ride around the stable itself, instead we went on a long trek through the beautiful Lincoln Woods. Our guide kept order and made sure the horses were comfortable so everybody could enjoy the ride. A great activity to relax and enjoy nature for an hour.

Would definitely recommend this place to any and all of my friends or family! Price is excellent for the trail ride they take you on, horses are very well taken care of and are all so friendly! I grew up riding and taking care of horses and have been off the farm for quite some time. This is an amazing way for me to get back into riding. Only complaint I have is the way they wanted me to get off the horse, I'm a chubby guy and I've never got off that way. I slipped and hit the quide in the head and felt so bad..... My wife and I were there today 9/29 and we will definitely be back numerous times for more trail riding and private rides!

First, it should be said, we do not leave reviews for anything, ever. Our time at sunset stables was so phenomenal I have to share. We are a family of six with four children ages 9-13 who had never ridden before. Our 13 year old has Autism. I am completely blown away by the care, consideration, and accommodation shown by the family who runs these stables. We felt safe and confident after thorough individual instruction and had an absolutely amazing trail ride with Steven (who was super informative and helpful, and was sure to check on us, my 13 year old especially, frequently throughout the ride). We even saw a baby deer and his mom up close, breathtaking! I can’t say enough and I can’t thank them enough. If you love someone with special needs, you understand. Amazing place, we highly recommend it, especially for families with children!!!

I loved the lionhead bunnies and floppy ear bunny the horses 🐎 were beautiful and every one enjoyed the ride ❤ they will come back ❤ 💙 again

Great ride! Our horses were sweet and well cared for...they also take in rescue horses 🖤 our trail guide Pete was friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable. Highly highly recommend

Daughter went with 4H for trail ride. Horses were tacked and ready to go. Owner & employees were super friendly and accommodating. Awesome atmosphere..fire pit going and country music playing, felt like I was down south!

I took my kids here to try horseback riding for the first time. My oldest two daughters are obsessed with horses. I’ve never been horseback riding before and it seemed like a fun thing to do with the kids. The folks at Sunset Stables were so nice. They made sure each of the kids had a helmet and an appropriate size horse. The horses were so sweet. They knew the trail by heart and followed our guide without us having to give them any direction. It was a wonderful experience and my children absolutely loved it!

Today was my friend Maria and I first time. I used to ride horses as a kid back in my country. I haven’t done that for at least 16 years, so riding a horse since then I was a bit nervous. Overall, my experience was amazing ! Our leader was so kind , respectful and kept checking on us ! I would definitely come back ❤❤❤❤❤❤
