Welcoming and friendly. They also make it very easy to order books they might not have in stock. I have ordered special orders in person, on the web site or by phone.

Gearing up for a two week road trip this was my first stop. I picked up several books for the little one and a road atlas to keep busy.

Wakefield Books is one of my favorite places to shop. They have a wide variety of books on hand but also are happy to order whatever you need. I love reading the staff descriptions of the newest book releases. They even have book signings with the local authors and plenty of summer reading guides for all ages.

Also, I don’t know what the other reviewer is talking about, the staff always remembers my name!

All star cast of literature lovers! Fantastic staff filled with smiles and knowledge. Superb collection of gifts, toys, and books! If they don’t have it in the store, they will bring it in!

Great store. Associates know where everything is. I was looking for cook books; mainly air fryer ones. Took me to the section, then said if you need to relax, sit at the benches and page through. Very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Has been my go-to bookstore for years. They carry a large selection and if they don't have something they are always happy to order it for me for no extra cost. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they give great recommendations. During Covid they even helped me pick out several presents over the phone I was able to have mailed directly to the recipient. Could not recommend more highly!

Great selection and helpful cashier. Run of the mill bookstore but still better prices than Barnes and Noble

Fantastic local bookstore. Excellent selection if you're looking for something current or reasonably current to read in the way of fiction, historical, or sightseeing. Lots of children's books. Lots of stuff on sale that is reasonably current. Charming staff who will help you out. Please do as I do and support small bookstores. This is one example of the type of store that I hope we will be able to enjoy for many more decades.

Wakefield books is an amazing little bookstore! The staff is very knowledgeable about books and justvthe overall store and selection; so of you need help just ask! They have a huge kids book section but the adult section is a little small but it's still great! I recommend checking it out!

Wakefield Books is a classic local bookstore. A friendly staff will offer recommendations or assist you in locating a specific book. A surprisingly large collection is seasonally adjusted for relevance. The store also makes a point of carrying books on local schools' summer reading lists as well as books of local interest.

Small town bookstore with a great overall selection of Publications. In addition there are numerous local souvenirs guide books Etc. Staff is friendly and very helpful if you're looking for something specific.

Giving it a 5 one of the fast dwindling small business left but really nice environment very helpful and knowledgeable staff not crazy busy where staff doesn't have time to help Defently worth supporting not just because it a rare small business but they have definitely earned it all around that being said and there super educational and promote reading of all ages I'm happy there here
