What a cute little bakery!! 😍 I do not drink coffee but man did it smell good in there!!! I do however eat... I got a ham egg and cheese on a plain bagel. I also got a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun I don't even want to review for purely selfish reasons!! I don't want to show up and it ever not be there for me 🤪 zap it with some heat and mmm she is tasty as can be!!!! The bagel was so fluffy and cooked perfectly! Tasted so much fresher than something you could get from a chain coffee shop. They have some outdoor and indoor seating which is such a nice option this time of year. Someone was outside enjoying their breakfast and coffee with their dog! Staff was attentive and diligent. I have no complaints!!! I could even go into detail about the pricing being comparable to dunkin with a much much better outcome!!!! Sweet altheas you've made me full and happy in the best ways! Thank you!

Only tried the coconut lime and pumpkin cinnamon spice scones, plus an iced coffee, but they were fantastic. Very friendly service. We'll be back!

Great coffee spot with in-house bakery. Serving up delicious egg sandwiches, scones, muffins, croissants, and teas. Cute seating area and LOCALLY owned. Don't sleep on this gem.

I'm always on the lookout for a good scone, and Sweet Althea's makes them well. I ordered one of each and promptly put them in my freezer when I got home in NY so no photos (!). I had their one and only savory scone (cheddar cheese and chive, I think) and it was wonderfully tender although a touch sweeter than I would prefer. I look forward to trying the others - they all look so good, and there was a wnderfil variety. The price was relatively low in comparison to where I live and buy scones.

The cake I ordered was not only amazing looking, but it tasted delicious, too. Everyone loved it. The staff there was fantastic, and the location was cute and cozy. If I wasn't in a rush when I picked it up, I would have stayed for a coffee, because I loved the atmosphere. Normally, main Street in EG can be a bit of a pain for finding parking, but Sweet Althea's is set back behind Sa-Tang, and has plenty of parking. I'll always order my cakes from there from now on. I can't recommend them enough.

Delicious, fresh baked goods. Friendly, fast and top notch service. I've become a regular here and can say with 100% confidence the scones and cupcakes are the best i've ever had! Coffee is always tasty as well. They now offer egg sandwiches if you are a little extra hungry...but be sure to also leave with a sweet treat or a scone...you will not regret it! All this combined with a comfortable atmosphere, convenient location and accomodating hours. I will be back multiple times per week :)

I cannot recommend this place more highly! We ordered 2 sheet cakes for my sister''s 80th Birthday reception. They were ready on time and absolutely delicious, especially the "to die for" butter cream frosting ! The decorations were much prettier than the cake we ordered from another establishment. We received many comments from the guest about how delicious the cake was. Thanks to Kim for offering such a quality and pleasing product.

Kim created the most marvelous rich moist lemon cake with buttercream frosting in swirls of flowers for my 80th. It was perfection. I don't say this lightly as I am a good from scratch cook & baker. The scones at Sweet Althea's are yummy.

Stumbled upon this place while on vacation. It was so good, we visited multiple times. Delicious breakfast sandwiches, lattes and muffins (that’s what we got on all visits). Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

We ordered a sheet birthday cake from here to celebrate Mom's 102nd birthday. It was not only delicious, but on time and beautiful!

What a wonderful place! I stop here to get coffee and the occasional sweets. The coffee is always delicious, always fresh. I enjoy the people who work there especially Cal. She is always so pleasant and makes sure you get exactly what you want. you can tell she really likes her job and is happy to be there. They also have coffee cards where you can earn a free coffee after so many. I love to support a local business and this is above and beyond any of the chain coffee places in town. Wonderful experience all around.

Kim at Sweet Althea’s made a small cake for our elopement. It was absolutely delicious. She topped it off with fresh flowers and lent us a cake stand for a wonderful presentation at our dinner. The cake was beautiful, moist and flavorful with rich buttercream frosting. Thank you!

I had ordered a lemon cake with raspberry filling. It was wonderful and decorated beautifully. We received many compliments.

Kim, the owner, is so fantastic. She's very easy to talk to and so accommodating! She made cupcakes for my wedding along with a 6 inch cake for the cutting. We got the cupcakes in oreo and salted caramel and the cake was pumpkin spice with cinnamon frosting- they were all to die for. She set it up beautifully creating an awesome beach theme with brown sugar and sea shells. I loved working with Kim and would definitely use Sweet Althea's again!

Great scone, cheddar scallion... one of the best I've had. Enjoying the great Dave's Cold Brew and can't wait to try my yummy looking snicker doodle. Everything made from scratch on premise (a rarity) and uses local sourced wherever possible. Can't wait to try the rest of their baked goods.

Inviting casual atmosphere where great "DAVE'S Brand coffee" is mixed with a changing selection of delectable delites. Not only will you experience the freshest coffee but their DESSERTS are heavenly. When hosting an event it's the only place to have that special cake made. From the littlest of a simple cupcake to that magnificent grand Wedding Cake.

I needed a cookie platter to give as a Christmas gift. I found Althea's in a local Google search and the had a platter size just right for me. The recipients loved it. I just ordered another as a thank you gift for another office staff. Excellent service.

I had a house coffee and a funky monkey muffin. I grabbed a cinnamon roll for my friend. The pastries were decadently delicious and my coffee was hot and rich.
