Krung Thai

Upon walking in I was impressed with the atmosphere. The server was friendly, outgoing, and makes suggestens. I had the Volcano Chicken I was delicious it was brought out on a skillet and then had the sauce poured on it at the table. The server then put the first portion of rice and Volcano Chicken on my plate for me. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Everything was awesome! My family went for lunch, and we got a free bowl of tofu soup. I dislike tofu but I’ll order it next time because the broth and meat balls were so delicious. The 2 orders of spring rolls were great and my 2 young kids (4 & 1 yrs old) ate them right up. I got Crispy Duck which was incredible. You get to choose how spicy you want whatever it is you order. I’m going for full fire next time because the duck I got at 3* spicy and it was not overpowering. I will be back here very soon!

Huge portions and delicious meal! (We selected only plant-based options and we had to take home 4 boxes because there was so much great food! I'm vegan and my husband is vegetarian.) The rice was incredible and the green curry... wow! Great vegetables tempura too.

Tonight was my first time trying Thai food, period. And it was incredible! The flavors are balanced well, the sauces are on point, and the customer service was phenomenal! I met Audrey and John up front while the owner cooked my order and had some wonderful conversation, too! First time here, and I think I'll make it a regular place. Y'all are killing it over here, I love it!

Friendly wait staff, I visited midweek at an early time so few diners. Food came quickly and was to my tastes, excellent. I like a little heat and 3 out of up to 4 was perfect. Great flavor and generous portion size. If you happen to be near downtown this place is definitely worth a try!

WOW! What an AWESOME first dining experience at Krung Thai. Our server was Nina, she was fabulous! Polite, attentive, helpful with questions and made wonderful recommendations. I enjoyed my volcano chicken, and my husband raved about his crispy duck. We had spring rolls and ginger tea. Every bite of our meal was delicious and the portions beyond generous. Looking forward to going back to try some of their other offerings soon!

Service is a bit slow but what place isn't right now? Waitress was doing the best she could and her son (a boy) was helping with water and menus. The food is worth any wait, it is amazing. We travel from Illinois just to eat there. Best Thai food I have ever eaten. I will go again too.

Phenomenal service and food. The spice was pretty spot on with the selection of 0-4. One meal we had 1 and the other was a 3. Definitely a noticeable difference. If you order a dish that cooked in the sauce it will seem hotter even with a lower number vs something like the volcano chicken where the sauce is poured over the top. Don’t hesitate to ask the server she can fill yah in! Definitely my top local spot for Thai.

I just moved to Wind Point from the Chicago Suburbs, and was majorly dissatisfied with the cuisine around Racine. This was hands down, the best Thai food I have had since the move and honestly, it was better than what I was used to at home. 10/10 recommend this restaurant to all food lovers, the curry is amazing, everything is made with such care and not rushed through, and just, it's how food should be. Astounding.

We ate at Krung Thai for the first time this evening. We were very impressed.

I like having a drink with dinner and was initially disappointed that they didn’t serve hard liquor. Beer and wine are available however. I can drink anytime. Great food was the objective.

Strike two could have been that they were at least a waitress and busboy short. This wasn’t a problem either. Our waitress explained that someone didn’t make it to work and did an excellent job covering a pretty full restaurant.

We have had Thai food before, but are not experts in this cuisine. Again, no worries . Our waitress answered our questions and guided us to excellent dishes, all well-prepared and spiced to our liking.

Not a Thai dish to me, but I ordered Won Ton soup seasoned to a level 4 I believe. It was definitely the best Won Ton soup I have ever had. My wife ordered a chicken dish with oyster sauce which we both enjoyed. I ordered a steak and shrimp dish that was incredible. Unfortunately I had to share it with her. She enjoyed it as well. The best steak I have ever had at an Asian restaurant of any type. Likewise the shrimp were tremendous!

The service was nice and the food options are decent. Compared to Sticky Rice, I place this on a much higher platter because of the service and quality of food. What I didn't like is the spice level system because it seemed to American for my taste. The spices don't necessarily taste like Thai chilis either. I wouldn't actively come to this place but it would be my recommendation for Thai in Racine.

This was the first time several of my family members have had Thai food. We had an excellent waitress who was patient and helped everyone find a dish they enjoyed. The food was delicious. Pleasantly surprised. I will come again.

Excellent food and very friendly staff! We visited this restaurant during the Indian Motorcycle Rally and we are from out of town. We ordered spring rolls and Chicken Pad Thai very spicy and it was really good! The restaurant was very busy and there was only 1 waitress and she did an excellent job keeping up. If I'm in the area I would definitely visit again.

Food is awesome. Fresh spring rolls are the best I have ever had. Noodle dishes are sooooo good. My husband and I travel a lot and are currently in North Carolina. We just left a Thai restaurant feeling very disappointed. Missing our gem back home.

Lime and coconut milk soup is wonderful. Fresh spring rolls are amazing. My steak was flambe and it was out of this world! Get a cold Thai tea to go with it! Ive enjoyed everything Ive ever ordered!

We ordered for delivery ~ the food is amazingly good, I mean it is sooo authentic!! We love the jumping squid, spicy ( bc we asked for the super spicy level4 ) but refreshing, love the Thai herbs. The noodle dish is super nice too!

Very nice surprise: food was great, with big portions. I am Vegan, so my choices were limited, but what I ordered was tasty. The waitress was perfect: attentive but not intrusive, very good for a date.

Excellent Thai cuisine!
Fresh Rolls and Spring Rolls were delicious as was the Tom Kha Gai soup.
Ginger Beef entre was a lot on the spicy side for being ordered at number 1 strength but the other dishes were right on par with their number.
Will definitely return to this restaurant.

This was a GREAT night. We had spring rolls as an appetizer, lovely. The Volcano Chicken and Shrimp dish we ordered were flavorful, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Reminded me of the Thai restaurant in Kenosha near Tinseltown that shut down. Fantastic! After our meal the cook came to our table and asked us if the food was good. What a find. So happen to have this resturant in Racine.
