Gentlemen Farmer

This is one of those true mom and pop type restaurants. The owner works incredibly hard, and the food is all freshly made. Definitely my favorite local breakfast spot. Had lunch there recently for the first time as well, and it did not disappoint.

My family has been going here for years, we love em, and we'll keep going here for years to come.

Exceptional food and service! Delicious Breakfast all day, but Lunches are worth the trip too!

Stopped by for lunch again. Waitress was happy & busy. Took our order and as we waited an old man came in & sat at the counter. He was a little loud, but there was no one nearby to be bothered. A man came out of the back..the cook i assume & spoke very rudely to this old man who probably was a veteran. The cook spoke loudly & sternly telling the old gent to stay quiet or he'd be thrown out! I dont usually let other conversations bother me, but this man deserved respect! He may have had dementia or hearing loss & not realize how loud he is or perhaps PTSD from defending our country long ago? You dont speak to your customers in that tone! I wanted to leave immediately but my husband said to mind my business. I did express my dismay to the waitress who said she would tell the cook, but i felt she took his side. I WILL NOT PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN.

Looking for a quick bite to eat in an unfamiliar area an we Google up Gentlemen Farmer. Quick look while we drove, we saw 4 stars and thought we got lucky! We followed the Google map thru back roads only to make a big circle & come out exactly where our original appt was! We had read the reviews while driving and were shocked this place was still in business! We almost skipped stopping there..but it is one of the most affordable restaurants in RI!!
It's a little diner stuck in a strip mall that seems to specialize in breakfast, BUT they offer quite a bit for lunch & supper too! From sandwiches to burgers to pasta to seafood & salads. Fresh food! I ordered the baked scrod at 6pm on a Thursday night..they were just unloading it off the truck. They offered several vegetables with the meals..from the owners garden, sliced and cooked fresh.
My fish was quite large with 2 sides for either $13.95 or $15.95. My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger with housemade coleslaw. It was a good looking burger. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us several times. The whole belly clams were $23.95 I heard the waitress say. Oh, the Portuguese Kale soup is excellent and that comes from a man who only ate his mother's kale soup for 60 years!

Had the cream cheese French toast with bananas and berries with a side of bacon 🥓 😋 👌 perfection ! ! So happy this is the closest diner to my home.

The woman at the front, was very friendly they make all homemade stuff the food is very good.I got my usual Ham and Egg Sandwiche.it was very good.

Gentleman Farmer has been a longtime breakfast spot for my father and me. We used to visit the old location many years ago. The atmosphere in the new location is better, it has a larger seating area and no draft from the front door. They're still serving the same great food, too!

My mom has been wanting whole belly fried clams. She was very happy with the cost, amount and quality of what she received. The portugese kale soup was excellent. We will be back there, fir sure.

The inside was bigger than I expected. It was clean, and 2 people came by to make sure everything was perfect. The food is like home cooking. The prices are very good. It's a quaint place. Nice family and/or local daily spot.

Absolutely ❤ G.F. in Coventry/WG. Born and raised here, it's a staple in this small town. Hadn't been in a while but before and as I entered I was greeted by the most friendly faces and staff! Felt like I was Norm on an episode of Cheers it was so heartwarming!

Nice place for a meal. The breakfast is great. The pancakes are iffy. The seafood is great. Very good coffee a d the service was good. No disappointments.

Good food sadly maybe not the best service or visually appealing interior of this restaurant but its made up for in selection and flavor of the food. I would recommend the breakfast here served anytime.
