I got to see the owner hadn't seen him in awhile that made me happy and I had points so my dogs got treats! That made them happy

Every time I go there, I find something cool. The staff is very helpful and approachable. They test most of the products before they sell them. I moved 2900 miles away and still support them. Delivery is faster than Amazon. A delivery system they developed with their distributors during these crazy times. I can’t even find a small business as good as this one in California. Support local, even when you’re not. This money goes to real families working hard for you.

Critter Hut is by far one of the best pet stores locally to South County. The service is amazing and the people are genuine pet/animal lovers. After my daughter's hamster died, we were looking for a replacement pet. She loves rats, and as we started our search, we were told by PetSmart in Westerly that rats were illegal in Rhode island. Only to find out going to critter Hut, that was not the case. We purchased two of the most adorable dumbo rats I have ever seen... Again, this staff and store is amazing. They truly care about pets and their pet parents... Thank you Critter Hut for restoring my faith in humanity!!!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend signing up to their customer program because when a heat light bulb broke after 2 months and I didn't have the reciept they were able to track our purchase replaced it for free!! In fact, I didn't even ask for a free replacement - it was their idea!! Great service! Thanks Critter Hut team!!

Great selection have gone there for all my animal needs over the years whether anti-flea products for my cat or aquarium filters. Staff exceptionally helpful. They always carry or can super quickly order anything I need. Should definitely be your first stop when looking for anything pet related.

I edited this review. Not for bad reasons. This has been my go to fish store for years, a good 3/4th of all my pets have came from here. The workers are so nice, Scott and Chris are awesome too at information. What I love about this store is the fish and corals. Me owning 4 tanks in my room, it all started from these guys! They have helped me with keeping fish and diseases too. I also love how they quarantine fish! This just shows how great of a pet store they really are. They would rather make sure their customers are satisfied rather than mad or an ich out break (deadly fish diseas) in their tank! The corals I have purchased from them too are booming, their corals are very affordable and beautiful! I don’t see myself departing from critter hut any sooner or later.

Store personnel are very helpful and pride themselves in providing exceptional customer service. In particular, Jeff has gone out of his way to help with various problems we were having with our fish tank and always responsive in a timely manner.

Good local pet shop carrying all the necessities for a new pet owner. Staff is friendly, and they have a store parrot that is always fun to run into when buying dog food or toys. Great place to bring a puppy to get them socialized

Great local pet store. I was initially surprised at the great selection of pet food & supplies stocked.

The Point Judith location is just minutes from my home, which makes this establishment ideal. If this shop did not exist, I might be forced to drive no less than 15 miles or so to North Kingstown or Warwick to acquire the food that my pets have come to prefer.

To top it off, they have a rewards program that enables returning customers like myself to collect points for transaction, which has already paid off on a number of occasions.

Best of all is that I can get everything I need in a convienent location located in South County, while I support a small local business in my own community.

Very knowledgeable staff. If they don't carry something in the store they are always happy to order it for you. I always come here for feeder bugs because they have many more options than chain stores and you can buy any quantity you want.

I have been going to Critter hut since I was a very small child. I have never had a bad experience in those 30+ years. They are very accommodating and super knowledgeable about all of their critters. I could not reccomend them enough.

We LOVE Critter Hut. Their customer service is on point. If you have a question they always have an answer and if they don't have the answer the find the answer. Jeff is always so kind and polite. They're always well stocked with all products.

visiting from out of state, with or dog,who had barking problems at our rental,. Went there they offered us a few solutions, which we bought a non-barking collar. Very helpfull, very knowledgeable, would choose over big box-store . Collar worked well !! Fantastic staff !

Yesterday I adopted two baby Dumbo rats. Sam and Frodo are two of the sweetest rats I have ever met. The help I received was amazing as well.

Hi i love this place they took in my 2 pets George,Rex.I am so gratfull i got to find a place for them.An a place that takes good care of them till they have a new home.I miss both of them but i know they are in good hands.
