Jose and the GL Drywall & Painting team did an excellent job on my ceiling repair (whole ceiling replacement, drywall ceiling repairs, and painting). He responded to my inquiry promptly and helped to provide a free estimate. We were able to schedule the work immediately and the work was completed in a prompt fashion. The quality of the work was excellent and fairly priced. Jose was very communicative, friendly, easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Jose was quick to return our call, come out for a quote and eventually work to complete the project - on time. We really struggled finding someone, as not many contractors want to finish a project they didn't start. Jose and his team did a wonderful job on my living room ceiling. A section of the ceiling was damaged by water. They had to cut out the damaged sheet rock, replaced it and then tape it, texture the area and the paint the entire ceiling. They did an excellent job. The replaced area cant be seen and you would never know there was a repair and replacement. They protected the room and furniture with coverings and they cleaned up the area at the end of the day and left it very neat. I was very satisficed with the job and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I found Jose/GL Drywall & Painting through searching online. His reviews and photos of work completed looked great. I called Jose and was able to stop by and give me quote the next day. I had extensive malicious damage from a previous tenant. Jose was able to repair all the damaged walls, paint the entire interior from baseboard to ceiling. All this completed in 7 days. Excellent work, in addition to Jose plastering and sanding the painters took their time with cutting and did not rush the job. Very nice people as well. I will be using Jose's services in the future.

We had an amazing experience with Jose and his team and would highly recommend them. We have had so many compliments on their work! We live in a historical home that had been neglected for many years prior to us moving in. Between chipping paint, rotting boards- it was a mess. Jose and his team took their time replacing boards, sanding off layer after layer of old paint, and then putting on a fresh coat of paint. Our house looks brand new- they did an amazing job!!! They were great to work with- always there when they said they would be- so friendly and accommodating to any last minute requests we had. We couldn't believe the amount of work they accomplished in just a couple of weeks. We can't say enough about how great of an experience we had with Jose and his team- we are beyond happy with the work they did!!

We contacted GL Drywall and Painting to restore one of the corners of our bathroom that had to be opened up from floor to ceiling due to plumbing repair. Jose came within a couple of days after our request to see the site and provide an estimate. Shortly thereafter, Jose and crew came in to remove the damaged drywall, then rough in the corner, and finally to repaint the entire bathroom and replace the tile that had been removed -- all for a very reasonable cost. Jose was easy to work with, very professional, and did a great job in restoring our bathroom.

I have done business with GL Drywall and Painting a couple of times for my basement finish work. Jose and his crew did a drywall installation, prime/paint, and carpet on my stairs. The quality of the work is excellent and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend for all your construction needs!

We had a bedroom that was in a bad state from a bad DIY that we did not have the time or energy to finish. Jose and the crew really worked with our job requests and gave us a fair price, started that same week, and it looks great, very neat. They removed carpet, installed drywall on the ceiling and sloped walls, and installed baseboard in a ~220 sq ft room.
We’ll definitely work with them again in the future, we already have a few projects in mind!

Jose and his team did a great job on our exterior paint job! This was a large and complex job, involving both painting and carpentry. The team members were skilled and worked with us to meet the challenges of working on an older house. Everyone on the crew was courteous and accommodating. I was looking for a contractor to put in a new acoustic ceiling in my basement and was referred to GL drywall, from a commercial company that doesn’t do residential work, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results.

I found there work estimate was very good and never got the sense that I was getting overpriced on material or work. In addition, after they gave the estimate they help me put an acoustic ceiling in my bathroom without additional cost.

I have a small condo, and in general have found it hard to find great service at a good price from local contractors. Working with GL, I found them attentive, professional, and determined to give me the best result possible.

I hired Jose and his crew to paint my house and I could not be happier. The key to any good paint job is prep and they spent an entire day ensuring that everything was scraped and sanded. My home looks terrific and I could not be happier. Highly recommend!

I have a 3,400 sq ft house, 2 stories, with lots of mature landscaping and delicate planting next to the house - it's a big and complicated job for a residence. José is the first painter that we have had who has correctly estimated what it would take to do the job, and the first one that has really respected the planting and not done any damage. He has a small outfit, but they are all very responsive, listen carefully, and truly do their best to do exactly what you want. The quality of their work is excellent. I have been extremely pleased with every part of the relationship, and I plan to go back to José for interior work soon.
