Yorker Shoes

11/24/2023— my husband and I, visited this establishment today . We have been thinking of going here for a long while . Well, at my physical therapist office , they had an advertisement for them on the wall and I said , I am going soon . My therapist also recommended this place . It’s the day after Thanksgiving, we went for lunch at my fav Colombian restaurant , next door table was James Diossa , our state general treasurer . After this awesome lunch we decided to stop at Yorker Shoes . We were promptly greeted . Mr. Gary helped me choose sneakers that help with lower back . It was hard to choose . He measured my feet , help put them on . It felt like I was back in 90s when buying shoes was an experience . I loved it . I found this awesome boots I was not even looking for, the feel of it , the look , just amazing .
Ample parking . There was a lady seating next me to who said “this the only place I buy my shoes “ . I am not only looking for comfort but shoes that help with my lower back . I can no longer wear high heels , at least not for long . So , Yorker Shoes will be my place to buy my sneakers from now on . I am going on a cruise soon , and I plan - God willing—to walk a lot , so I needed the buy sneakers for my lower back .

I was actually able to get size 14 shoes here! The staff are very attentive, and knowledgeable. It felt like old times where people actually measured your foot, and checked where your toe was in the shoe. Will definitely shop here again.

I went to Yorker shoes primarily because I wanted to make very sure my shoes fit properly. Joe S. cheerfully told me: I’ll spend all day till 5 o clock making sure you get the correct shoe. And he did. Friendly, knowledgeable and truly interested in taking care of their customers, why would you go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

This is the best shoe store to go to ! The service is excellent! I have problem feet & so glad I found Yorker Shoes. I buy SAS shoes, they didn't have my size in stock, they ordered them & I had them in one week. I recommend Yorker Shoes. 👌

I was skeptical at first since it wasn't a very well know place , but I was not disappointed. I had the best shoe experience of my life . They just don't sell you shoes they want to make sure that you love them in every aspect .They can measure your feet to give you an accurate shoe size and they even put your shoes on for you ! They are very knowledgeable about shoes . This is a great place to go to for orthopedic shoes . There shoes are handmade and you can tell the difference from any other shoe store .

Went in to get infant and kids shoes. I was absolutely blown away by the service. The woman who helped me (I didn't catch her name, but she had red hair, if that's helpful) was amazing - she was great with the kids while measuring their feet and helping explain the benefits of the different brands. She was super knowledgeable about the products and really made the process so enjoyable. The shoes were a little more than I would usually spend on kids shoes but I have confidence they are good quality and will last us awhile and the service was so good I was happy to spend the extra money. The kids selection is a little small, but all great quality products and it looks like a lot more variety in the adult section.

Fantastic service, they helped me the instance I walked into the store and helped me pick out the perfect shoe to help my flat feet. It was amazing!

My wife and I recently visited Yonker Shoes and what a nice experience we had. The staff was friendly, went above and beyond, and they had a large selection to choose from.

My wife has arthritis in her feet and hammer toes. We went to Yorker to get a proper fit and we were not disappointed. They were very attentive and went beyond expectations to get her a proper fit. The shoes were not cheap but she is very pleased with the fit.

The store was clean and had plenty of staff who were knowledgeable and accommodating. Also, there was no pressure to purchase.

A friend and I went to Yorker shoes for the first time today. He needed special fitting for a pair of sneakers. Arthur was wonderful! He gave us the special attention to a good fitting shoe. He took the time needed and gave us excellent advice. We were both very pleased!

A very unique experience, back in the day when you were actually fitted for shoes that's what you will find here, my husband being a diabetic needs the perfect fitting shoe and that's what they stride for, a team of employees who are very knowledgeable of any particular shoe they sell and any concerns you might have...And I also loved the doggie shoes 😂

This past week I went into the store to buy a pair of boots & my wife & I were greeted so pleasantly by Frank!! Due to a foot deformity, I am difficult to fit for shoes. Frank was so very helpful to me, & so patient also. My wife & I both greatly enjoyed conversing with him. We are both so grateful for his great assistance, and I am already enjoying my wonderful new boots.

I had a great experience today at Yorker shoes. My dad, who is 88 years old, was in need of new shoes. Dianne was knowledgeable, patient and extremely kind. It could not have been a better experience. Thank you!

Yorker Shoes is a great shoe store. The sale associate who assisted me was knowledgeable of what he was saying. I am happy with my purchase.

Mike was outstanding helping me find the perfect white walking shoe. I discovered a room with half off shoes and I was able to find two great beautiful pair shoes. They feel wonderful on my feet. It's not easy because I wear a wide.
I went in wanting one pair of white shoes, and I came out with four pair of fabulous shoes, and two were half price!
What I appreciated most was Mike, he even steered me away from a pair, that I liked, but he said they were not right for my feet. I appreciated his honesty very much. I am happy, and my feet are happy, too.
I will definitely be back and this time I'll bring my husband because they also have men's shoes!

I have extremely flat feet, and I came here after having a bad experience with another shoe store in Fall River. I must say, I had Gary come straight to me and my mom right away, and it was one of the best shoe stores I’ve been to. Gary guided me to what Brooks would be the best for my feet, and steered me away from ones that wouldn’t be a good fit (even if I liked them). His humor and good skills made this trip worth the while. If you have flat feet like mine and need to find a good shoe I would absolutely recommend.
