Brandy Creek Falls

Beautiful hike that you should definitely go on! Short hike with multiple falls to look at!

Good leg burner up to the falls. And just beautiful!

It was quite a drive to get to the trail and then a bit of a trek to the falls. But very much worth the climb. The falls were beautiful, even in the middle of summer. I highly recommend going to see these and keep climbing till you get to the double falls. They are gorgeous.

Steeper hike than expected, but very nice scenery and well worth it. It's a pretty popular trail. We went late in the afternoon on December 31st and there were several other groups of hikers.

Wife and I got up at 5:30 (it's hot here now) and drove about 25 mins. from NE Redding to the turn off up the gravel 3 miles to the trailhead. That took another 20 mins. so we got to the trailhead at about 6:30a.m.
We were the first car in the lot but by the time we got back, 3 hours later, there were 6-7 cars parked.
Wear mosquito repellent! They are waiting and thirsty. Once you get to the falls area, they pretty much disappear as the cool draft generated by the falls' spray seems to keep them back a ways in the forest.
There was a lot of water running when we were there and it was too cold to get in except for maybe a quick splash. Lots of great scenic views and the hike is rated moderate but I would rate it on the easy side of moderate. A few guys on bikes were trying to go up the trail which isn't a problem until you get closer to the falls and bridges. From there, a little rock scrambling is necessary.
It was gorgeous when we were there. If not for the mosquitoes we might be there yet!

Wonderful hike, was even fun and enjoyable when hiking in the pouring rain, safe, and has beautiful sights all around, about 1h - 1:30h hike if you take the faster route

Great fun hike! Mostly uphill, but it is a great workout. It's. Great hike to take the family on. Even bring your dog!

The hike was exilerating but the waterfalls were breath taking! We were blessed with falling snow as we arrived. So awesome!

Beautiful, tree covered area with easy walking to the creek, picnic benches and bbq's. Watch for bears!
