Shasta State Historic Park Courthouse Museum

I’ve visited here twice. It’s always a great place to learn the history of Redding. The museum gives you so much history and information.I love the cemetery up the road next to the museum. There’s a QR code to scan to get a tour as you walk through the cemetery. It’s definitely a must see!!

This museum has now reopened. They’re open Thursdays-Sundays, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It’s $3 to enter and it provides an excellent history of this historic town of Shasta.

Wonderful museum. Cost $3.00 to get in. Has some video and interactive things but the displays are the stars without gimmicks. Went into the art gallery and was drawn into staring at several oil painting that are amazingly good. Lost track of time looking at the art. Highly recommended.
