As a resident of Johnston, I am proud and pleased of the work the JPD does for our community. They respond quickly and have an impactful presence in busy and residential areas.

They are just delightful. Professional, attentive, and compassionate. Great job boys.

I go to do a vin check today 5/17/2022 which is a Tuesday at 10am... When I get the the officer says to me... The lady who does vin check said she's not doing them this week. Must be nice to pick and choose when you want to do your job... If you don't feel like doing your job get another one. Next time you decide not to work please put it a message on your website. I drove 30 min from work to get it done. Thank alot guys!

At first officer was polite, towards end of conversation, I was really concerned about my car that someone abandoned in Rhode Island and I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t get charged if I just left it since I’m disabled and live in Pa. he got extremely rude and hung up on me! So it’s ok someone takes my car out of state, crashes it and abandons it! They don’t care! Where’s human kindness!

So im driving down killingly minding my own business when i see 2 cruisers parked on a side st just conversating i made eye contact with one of the officers in the cruiser and all of a sudden he pulls me over. (Yes lets make it clear im a dark hispanic driving a foreign vehicle on the Johnston roads)When he walks up to my car i ask him why did you pull me over? he stated that i wasnt wearing my seatbelt i told him that was clearly a lie because i am wearing it and i showed it to him he then proceeds to tell me yes you are wearing your seatbelt but i cant see that from that far off?! What?! Then he proceeds to give me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt that i was clearly wearing moral of the story is becareful these cops lie and pull people over for just making eye contact with them ridiculous you need to be out chasing the real criminals not wasting people's time with bogus lies just to pretend you are working! I cant expect them to do their job correctly though they cant even catch a Turkey!

no tickets for special people that park in the street during a parking ban, plow cannot get down monti circle from tara street to do their job when there is a car or truck parked right on the corner. Sign says no parking here to CORNER. ---- UPDATE, Jan 8, 2020, 10:30 PM. Black Chev Z71 pickup, and small SUV parked between NO PARKING SIGN and CORNER. So, Polisena and the Dep Chief gets signs put in for the issue on this street, then the PD MOCKS them both by not doing their job at night. Someone call in favors at night ?

Is it usual protocol for police to put on their lights n sirens so they can bypass traffic laws to enter the drive thru of a DONUT SHOP?!? Because that is EXACTLY what I just witnessed!!! Good Job JPD!!! SMH

I locked my keys in my car and called for help and the guy was extremely rude and made snarky remarks. Btw they won’t help you if you lock your keys in your car so don’t bother calling

I reported two things stolen out of my house and they told me that they’ll look for it to get it back for me and they haven’t done anything they told me they were help me write a report and my stuff being missing and they didn’t do anything

They make their own rules/ laws. Help who they want.
