It’s a good spot that stays open later than most places in the area but with really good food. I’ve come back multiple times in one week.
Loved almost everything I’ve had here. The charcuterie board comes with soft boiled eggs and toasts.
I like the lighting in the evening ; nice and dim but I did see some people needing their phone lights to see the menu. I thought it was perfect lighting though.
Great mashed potatoes. Very creamy and maybe whipped?
The prices of some items are reasonable and others are a bit more expensive. Fries were $9 and they were great but I just think that’s an odd price for that.
It does get really loud in here at night on weekends as they try to transition into more of a bar.
Parking is obviously a bit difficult but they seem to offer valet services and I chose to walk instead. It’s also not far from the bus for easy public transportation.
You should make a reservation if you decide to come here during popular times like Friday-Saturday nights but most other times are fine.

Came for a during the week dinner event for work. It’s a decent location that offers later hours than most in area and the food is good. We had a few different choices for appetizers and they all were great. The charcuterie board comes with soft boiled eggs, peppers, jellies and toasts. The lighting is a bit on the dark side. Many of the people I was with needed the lights on phone to read the menus.
Great mashed potatoes.
The prices of some items are reasonable and others are a bit more expensive.
Parking is a bit difficult on nights valet is not offered but they do tell you that you can still use the valet lot behind the building which was great and much less difficult. It’s right near public transportation as well.
Our two servers were super nice and accommodating for such a large group.

Wow! So glad to come across this gem. My husband and I had a lovely evening at Circe for our wedding anniversary dinner. Loved the lighting inside, ambiance, helpful staff, food, all A+ service. It didn't look like a typical restaurant when you walk in, very different layout. For appetizers, we ordered the fish tacos..so yummy! I ordered the lobster ravioli, and my husband ordered the fish special for that evening. We ordered two mocktails, both delicious! However, I did not enjoy the flourless chocolate cake. It was way too bitter for me. But no stars taken away for that! Everyone's tastebuds are just different.

We will definitely be back!

First time at Circe and hopefully not my last. What a great experience all around!

Six of us having drinks, apps, dinner, and dessert.

Definitely not a normal item...more like something your aunt brings to Thanksgiving but do yourself a favor and try the deviled eggs. These are definitely not the ones your aunt makes. Salad was super fresh with a really good champagne vinaigrette.

Our table had salmon, scallops, tenderloin, bolognese with absolutely nothing but praise. My scallop special had some nice chunks of lobster with really good flavors.

Of course death by chocolate for the table. Absolutely awesome.

And we got a nice visit from the owner and his daughter that really capped off the experience.

Highly recommend!

I was in Providence on business and was about to head to the airport. I stopped in for a late lunch. It was delicious! I ordered an open-faced steak sandwich with a salad. I could not believe how good it was. The staff was fantastic. There is a father-daughter combo that work magic! I highly recommend you dine here.

Decor: I loved the white walls with the pop of color. They had some festive holiday garlands hanging by the bar. So pretty!

Service: I thought the service was way better than we have experienced in Boston. My husband thought it was a bit slow because they took a long time to bring his gin and tonic and the entrees came just as we were starting to wonder where our food was.

Food: We started with the special: cooked oysters. It was delicious! We had the green salad and Caesar salad. They split them for us. Thank you!
Entree: I had the mushroom bolognese and my husband had the chicken. Our friends had the specials: Lamb shank and salmon. Everything we had was delicious! I was very impressed by the mushroom bolognese. Those plates were squeaky clean by the end of the evening.

We decided we are going to start coming to Providence for dinner because Boston’s dinning experience has been disappointing in comparison.

Let's get out of the way that this restaurant is small and pricey BUT they pack a punch with their tasty menu items. There were 8 of us including a 2 year old who thoroughly enjoyed the food. I saw her eat a salad for the first time on her own. Wow! Ample food with each choice from the ravioli with scallops to the chicken with pasta. I took the server's recommendation and ordered the pork chop that I surprisingly could not stop eating. The server made an excellent recommendation on the cook and it was perfect. As I ate the Flinstone's theme song kept playing in my head. If you are a fan of the show you know what I mean when I say brontosaurus size! I got the bread pudding to go. My only regret is that I only got one order...well it was $9 but so worth it. I would have preferred if more of the tasty sauce was offered in a small container however. The holiday decor was very thoughtful and gorgeous. Definitely nice for a family or romantic dinner. Paid parking is in the back.

I always love the food and the vibe here. The confit duck in the Duo of Duck is delicious. Good place for a business dinner or date night. Staff is always friendly.

My friends and I went for restaurant week last night and it was one of the BEST meals of my life. Some restaurant week offerings are very limited, but not Circe! They offered a wide range of specialties and I was very impressed the attention to detail for each dish. We even got the drink chandelier, with flaming limes and different specialty drinks!

Our server, Camilla made it a great experience as well. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and courteous.

We will definitely be going back

I loved our visit to Circe! The waiter made great suggestions for our cocktails and meal and we loved every bite! The service was awesome, our waiter was a really nice guy. My boyfriend’s steak was very over cooked and the waiter made a point of telling the chef and taking care of it. And I definitely recommend the dessert if you have room, we loved both of the things we tried!

A round of applause to The Owner and The Chef! Hands down, one of the best places I've been to. From the service to the atmosphere, from the drinks to the food. Absolutely Exquisite. The Antipasto is a great way to start off your meal in a group! The mussels and oysters, 🤌🏻💋 so savory! The Bacon wrapped tenderloin with Gorgonzola Ravioli on a bed of sautéed spinach and port wine demi,, melted in my mouth. All the flavors combined is an experience in itself. The Salmon with Shrimp and mashed potatoes and asparagus, cooked with love to perfection. The sweet potato Gnocchi, rich and delicious!

It’s a club. No, it’s a bar. No, it’s a clubar. Yep, it was very interesting walking into the place but after we were seated and got to understand the details we were hooked. I had a large table of 8 people and ninth joined last minute - they accommodated very well and we had such attentive staff. While the table was a very weird shape, it was right next to the bar and included some great people watching and allowed shareable options. The drinks were wild and heavy pours and the specials (although super expensive) were delightful and not one person complained! I can’t say enough about this place and we even went back the next night for a final round before heading down the block to a super lit bar…or maybe it was a club. Either way, great spot and I love to find gems like this!

We went for the first time and the atmosphere was great. We were seated at the large table in the front window. There was only one waitress for all the tables (7+) so service was a bit slow, but considering how much work she had to do, she did great! All of the food was amazing.

Stopped in for lunch. The hostess and waitress were super friendly. They had a lot of vegetarian options, I went with the risotto and it was stellar! My husband enjoyed his burger as well. Would definitely recommend.
