Big Jud's Ashton

Cute dinner attached to gas station. Employees were friendly and took our order as soon as we sat down. Lots of choices to choose from, with affordable prices.

The burgers were very delicious and big! Both burgers ordered were cooked to perfection! Compliments to the chef. The chicken fingers had a nice crunchy batter and paired well with ranch. The onion rings were big and not greasy, same with the hand cut fries. The milkshake is served in a metal cup, which kept it well chilled. There are many flavors to choose from, and it was thick.

I've been to this location multiple times. The group that I go with usually gets a combo with either a 1lb or 2lb burger. I love that this location still does the Big Jud group meal deal. I also feel like the Big Jud tastes better at this location. 😂
Last time we went after snowmobiling, and it was so good and really hit the spot.
I still haven't gotten around to trying any of their single serving burgers, but this is a great place to go with a group. It's a great experience and it tastes delicious.

We came in with a huge group of 13 year old boys on a crazy busy day, and the service was incredible! They treated us so well. We appreciated how hard they worked for us. As always, the food was great. The flavors were awesome, and the boys had a great time. Will come back again for sure!

I had a great experience at Big Jud's in Ashton, ID. The burgers are really good and so is the chicken. The portion sizes were huge, so I had to take some home for later.

The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The restaurant was clean and cozy, with a casual atmosphere. There were some pictures of people who had completed the **Big Jud challenge**, which is to eat a 1lb or 2lb burger with fries in a certain time limit. I was impressed by their feat, but I don't think I could ever do it myself.

I would definitely recommend Big Jud's to anyone who loves burgers and chicken, or just wants to try something different. It's worth the drive to Ashton, ID for this amazing place. You won't regret it!

Overall very tasty! The novelty of the giant burgers actually worked and was really good. The buns were great and the beef was good. Also love a good tater tot. Fun meal for a big group! 4 giant burgers worked for 12 people. Will go back!

I’ve always had a great experience here with the food. The service is always good and it is such a great place for a burger and fries. The food is quality food not your typical fast food but rather a high quality meat cooked fresh with fresh ingredients on top. They offer a wide variety of burgers to choose from and even have a 1lb and 2lb burger challenge so if you like those kind of things then give it a shot. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place was really good. Came here with a school trip and ate a massive burger. If I'm ever up in the area again, you know I'll be coming back to this place. The service was nice and the food was really good as well. Highly recommend.

First time here! I was skeptical, however after one of the waitresses came over and we talked about big hamburgers I was suddenly about to be surprised! Also, the fries are cut fresh after all we are famous for our potatoes. Lord have mercy I got a huge piece of beef with lettuce, bacon, tomato, avocado, and sauteed onions oh it was heavenly and it was large I squished it down to get it in my mouth! Thank you to everyone who works very hard there serving the best hamburgers ever! I will be back and everyone traveling through be sure to stop in.

We really wanted to try some Idaho potatoes as we were passing through and picked this place as they fresh cut the local potatoes. Good honest diner fare, decent burgers and nice fries. They have their own sauce for the fries which was nice too. We think both the burgers would be better with more sauce; we tried the fajita burger and the buffalo burger. A good stop with generous servings for the price.

When in Ashton, ID…..you need to check this local burger place out! It was our first time and didn’t regret it. Oops, I forgot to add the picture of the onion rings (we ate it too fast)! Good food at reasonable prices and with a friendly service too! :)

This is the definition of hole in the wall eatery. If your coming or going from yellowstone and go past here I recommend trying it. A group of 4 of us got the man vs food burger and split it and we were all stuffed.

The Hot Big Pig, 1 lb of sliced ham with a truck load of cheese and a mountain of tots n fries put me in my place. One heck of a ridiculous sandwich! Our waitress was great. It felt like the whole town was there having dinner and a good time too.

Called ahead to make sure they were open since the place we were ‘thinking’ of going to was closed.
VERY fortunate for us our ‘thinking’ was thwarted and we were able to experience Big Jud’s.
Just coming off a 45+ mile Yellowstone backcountry trek, and having Kenzie serve our group, topped off a fantastic 5 day adventure.
She was extremely personable and quite attentive even with the place being packed. It seemed like she was having her own ‘40 mile’ excursion serving multiple tables AND ringing up customers.

From the wonderful conversation’s with other travelers and hometown folk to the fantastic food and best service around, Big Jud’s is a MUST STOP if you’re within 500 miles of this eatery.

BEST FOOD! Some nights are busier than others and some waitresses nicer than others. The building owner (over in the gas station) should help them out with remodeling! It needs it! But other wise my favorite burger place to go. Price is reasonable for the quality of food!

The restaurant was trashed and dirty but it didn’t stop us from chowing down on the biggest burger I’ve ever seen. I’ve been before and love it. If it was my first time I’d be hesitant due to the date of the inside. Staff was great tho and the food was delicious. I’d recommend to anyone. And if you think you can handle the challenge you’ll get your meal free

Love the Idaho French fries and tater tots. The burger is huge! We got the 1 lb Big Jud and fed 4 adults. It was a good burger! Reasonable prices too

Had the Jim J (Avocado with bacon) and I was honestly very impressed. The fries were also very good. Prices are reasonable especially these days. I didn't have to wait too long for my order probably because it as between tourist seasons (Early April).

The food was very good! The prices are very reasonable and the service was great! I work near West Yellowstone, and the food prices in the restaurants are ridiculous. A friend told me about Big Juds and their burgers. I had a bacon cheese burger and a side of onion rings, and it was plenty. Will eat at Big Juds many more times.

Their 1lb burger tastes great and the fries are exceptional just the way I like them. The waitress was very attentive and the food came out swiftly. The dining room could use some updating but was still comfortable and good for larger parties because of all the open space to move tables around. I will be returning next time I am in the area.
