This is an awesome breakfast/lunch place. They close at 2pm weekdays and at 1pm on weekends, so don’t come late :) This little restaurant is: Clean, food is fresh with many items made on premises. The folks who work here are super friendly. Overall a very nice experience.

This diner is a wonderful, very affordable place to get a good 'home cooked' breakfast or lunch. They are small, but they put out great diner quality meals and the staff is all friendly and accomodating. They put places like Egg & You Diner, whom I strongly do NOT recommend, to shame! Try them next time you are around Oakland Park Blvd and NW 4th Ave in Oakland Park. They may be a smaller diner in a small set of stores but they are a big, good find in this town!

I had country fried steak, Chi had a Western omelette with biscuits and gravy, both were delicious and we look forward to returning and trying other menu items! The staff are very pleasant and friendly, the service was good, and the ambiance was charming and the place was very clean. All major pluses for us.
We rate it high, and would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food. 😋😋😋😋

What can I say except we love this place. I've owned and operated two breakfast and lunch places down here and have also eaten at many within a 50-mile radius. This simple little what might be called a "hole in the wall" ( but very clean!) place not only has delicious, affordable food, but some of the friendliest staff and owners that we've ever experienced. This is about our third time eating here recently, the food was great, the servers wonderful and beyond pleasant and accommodating. I admit that when I had my places I could be a bit cranky, as this is not an easy business, but this place always seems so positive and wonderful. This is the second time I've had a Greek omelette there, with fresh spinach!, and my partner had the breakfast burrito and the food was great. And not to mention that it's nice to go out and have two great breakfasts, both with coffee, for less than $30 for the both of us. All too often when we eat out at other places it is much more $, and for mediocre food and service at that. I admit to having a pet peeve with servers who act like they're slumming and couldn't be less interested in giving you actual service. ( Uhhh... you're working for tips...HELLO???!) I have ultimate respect for good service people and that is what you will find here. Also, it is becoming increasingly more difficult in this world to find a mom and pop type place that isn't just another boring chain place, and here's hoping The Over Easy Cafe is here for a long time. They seem to have many long-term regulars and I can see why. We just may have to move closer to this place so we can eat here more often. 😁 I give them an A+ /FIVE 🌟 all the way around... Well done!

My husband and I have been going to Over Easy for 6 years. It's our go to spot. They are a family owned and run restaurant that has great breakfast and lunch with lots of fresh, homemade daily specials and deserts. Have read some one star reviews here that seem downright trifling from spoiled individuals. The owner is a kind and giving person who does a lot for the community. I personally have never seen any rudeness here. So don't pay any attention to the naysayers and give it a try.

I love this place. The food is delicious. The service is warm and welcoming. The customers that go there are very friendly with each other. This place has a very friendly family feel. Come and enjoy yourself!!!

Best meat loaf in South Florida for only 10 bucks. Can you imagine? This little gem has been here for over 20 years as I can remember eating here when I was young and sprite. Now as an older person I really appreciate the quality of the food and everything seems to be homemade. I haven’t found anything here that wasn’t fantastic.

Seriously. The best breakfast spot! I love the old timey "breakfast and lunch only" diner type place that closes at 2pm. Cooked to order right in front of me (I sat at the bar) and every bit of that breakfast was excellent . I cleaned my plate.

I stopped in for breakfast. This is a small diner in a strip mall, there are 10 stools at the counter and 8 booths. There are nice murals on the walls. Our breakfast was very good, and the place was very clean and quiet.

Great portions. Excellent food with many choices on the menu. Very friendly staff. Excellent homemade pastries. 5 + rating in my experience!!!!!

Hidden gem. First time here today. The food is YUM and very affordable and the PEOPLE are amazing. I met Kathy, the owner. She knew every single customer and chatted with them all. My family had a great experience. Make sure you arrive before 1pm in the weekend
