Hidden Italian gem in Tahoe! All fresh made high quality Italian food - just like you want served like grandma made it. Ivano owner comes out to check on tables often - he and is staff were great. Had an accordion player too to set the ambiance :). Highly recommend to anyone seeking a delicious home style Italian meal

Amazing experience! The ambiance was intimate and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered bruschetta (so good!), linguine with a customized red sauce (my friend wanted it to be spicy), and the gnocchi with pesto (best pasta I've ever had, and I've been to Italy multiple times). The owner was very caring and seemed to genuinely care that each guest had the best experience. Would highly recommend!!

The Italian Bread is bomb, also the Fig Pizetta very tasty! You will not be disappointed with your meal.

Ivano's is by far my favorite place to eat in south lake Tahoe and one of the best restaurants I've been to period. I've been looking forward to coming back here after some time away and I'm extremely saddened to hear the passing of Ivano. RIP Ivano :( I'm going to miss your restaurant, your cooking, and your company..

I've gone twice on my short trip here because it is just that good. The owner is fantastic and everything is delicious. I got the garlic basil spaghetti with meat balls, while my boyfriend got the pesto gnocchi, and both were delicious. We tried the garlic bread (amazing) and the soup of the day which was absolutely delicious. If you have room for desert (generous meal sizes) I recommend the cheese cake! If you're looking for an authentic Italian restaurant with great food and great service, this is your place.

Outstanding gourmet Italian. Our entrees took a long time to arrive, but were well worth the wait. My grandmother made gnocchi from scratch, and theirs was every bit as good.

The house made fresh bread was unbelievably good and the dinner salad was very good as well.

Downside would be a limited by-the-glass wine list, but what they had was priced very reasonably.

I have been to Ivano's several times since they opened. I love this place. Genuine high quality Italian food made by Ivano and his team personally. Plan to take your time and enjoy the flavors. This is not the place if you are looking for fast food. I recommend the gnocchi plus Italian sausage and if you are really hungry, start with the Antipasto.

Our family went to dinner here on a whim and we could have been happier! Even if they were short staffed, the food was definitely worth the wait…and weight lol we were so stuffed! Even the kids loved it, we got the garlic Basil spaghetti and gnocchi, kids had the garlic butter noodles. Thank you for the amazing service and out of this works delicious food!!!

Unbelievably great!! Everything made from scratch. The garlic bread is unique and fabulous! Must make a reservation and if you’re in a hurry don’t eat here. The wait is worth it! Absolutely delicious!! We have been twice now and it’s become a go to stop during our stays in Lake Tahoe. Highly highly recommended!!

6 stars! Such exceptional food. Ivano is a character! So warm and friendly .we enjoyed his stories, recommendations & esp the food! We loved our entrees so much - all plates cleared. Highly highly recommend this gem in south shore. Definitely the best Italian I’ve had and I try every place I can😬

We had our annual Christmas party for our Employees Saturday night. Everything was wonderful! Ivano and staff gave us top notch service. You must try the antipasto platter! The Chicken Marsala is oh so delicious and the garlic bread is to die for. Ivano’s Mama makes the best Tiramisu! You simply must try Ivanos.

Very good service and excellent food. The chef came by after our meal and thanked us for coming, we told him it was the best Italian we've had and he told us they make all the food and sauces fresh to order! The food took a little longer to come out because of that but it was well worth the wait. The cheese tortellini with sausage and cream sauce was the best tortellini we've ever had

Simply amazing! Take it from someone who was born and raised in Italy. Highly recommend it.

Loved this restaurant and its owner. Delicious food and beautiful paintings to gaze at...was like being in an art gallery. Ivano was friendly and warm-hearted and told us his mother and friend were the artists who painted those paintings. Despite being the only one working that night, he still spent time talking to us.

Ivano's is one of the sweetest restaurants that I've ever been to. Kelsi the server was so wonderful and knowledgeable. All the food is prepared by Ivano himself and it was absolutely delicious. He came out to check on us which was very appreciated. The paintings on the wall are beautiful and created by Ivano's mother and friend. This restaurant is so homey, sweet and delicious. Will definitely be back soon!

Truly a gem! Best of Tahoe! I just can't wait to go back. I'm still thinking about that dish...just so good! Also they were very accommodating of us despite not having a reservation. Make a reservation though, because you don't want to miss out on this one!

Absolutely delicious! This was the best meal that my family ate while visiting Lake Tahoe! The Chef prepares each meal by hand which provides an authentic flavor that is second to none! The employees of this restaurant take great care of every customer that comes in. I can't say enough great things about this place...if you want great, fresh, hand prepared meals with large portions then go to Ivano's!

Phenomenal dinner. Authentic Italian food. We were just driving by and thought we might try it out - glad we did! You have to try out the garlic bread too - we’ve never had any better!

Amazing! Place has easy and secure parking. The restaurant is small and very cozy. It has great wines and the complete menu. The chef is originally Italian so the menu contains homemade and diverse pasta dishes. The flavor is different and everything is very tasty. Congratulations to chef Ivano.
