Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill

The owners of this hotel are such kind, informative and inspiring people. The property has been heavily invested in and they are looking forward to all sorts of new projects to make the space a must stop destinations near the shores of Lewiston Lake and the unique shops of Lewiston. The Trinity rivers run through the backyard, and the restaurant is full of life and good food.

My husband and i had a wonderful early dinner here yesterday. The food was delicious the service was amazing and friendly. We will be returning and bringing friends. The atmosphere was just our style, and the other patrons were friendly. It is a little out of the way, but absolutely worth the drive!

We used the Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill for our wedding & wedding rehearsal. All I have to say are positive things! The ceremony site is beautiful. The dance hall is very cool as well. Its very rustic/vintage looking with a beautiful wood bar. The venue was an amazing price and included a wood arch, tables, tablecloths, chairs, & all 6 hotel rooms for the night of the wedding. Katie was great to work with & flexible. We communicated mostly through email but as the date got closer Katie gave me her own personal cell phone number in case I had any questions & needed a quick response back. We were also about to arrange a time the next day to clean up from the wedding.

As always, the food at the Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill was amazing. Any extra food was boxed up by the hotel & stored in their fridge for us until the next day. We also utilized the Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill for our bar services. Katie was able to put together a bar menu for us with signature drinks. Katie & her team also helped bring food/drinks out to us & our wedding party. Like I said, nothing but positive things to say!

Nice friendly place good food but wish they didn't close so early. I had the best burger ever.bacon/swiss, with mushrooms . And an order of kiss me not fries. Soooo good

Located on the Trinity River, this venue has it all. Great seating options inside and a scenic deck out back that is pet friendly. Local live music artists frequently put on shows and rooms are fairly priced. The restaurant offers a variety of options including 1 dollar street tacos on Tuesday. This location also hosts many weddings and events.

I am a huge fan of the gold rush era, and this place embodies that history. There are antique tools, pictures and artifacts all over the building, and there's even a safe out front that looks like it was opened with a canon! Rooms are simple, quiet and comfortable with dedicated a/c+Heat units. The restaurant and bar are THE PLACE TO BE on the weekends, and the river is a stones throw from the back of the building. The owner and employees are wonderful people who take being hosts very seriously. There's yard games like horse shoes, corn hole and volleyball and plenty of places to relax and hit "reset" from all the technology and distractions of city life. I can't wait to go back.

This is a must stop if you're in the area. The atmosphere is so perfect. Drinks were fantastic and food was stellar, especially considering how remote the location. Cat was our server/bartender and she hit it out of the park.

This is a Great place I don't believe it is a good place for a young family it is a bar. they do serve Great food a little on the higher pay scale. I know that people like to try and get all they can from customers in rule areas.

For the price it was pretty nice. I'd never been to Lewiston but me and my girlfriend had a really nice time. The rooms were small and cozy and ours looked out over the Trinity River. There's a very big shared bathroom between guests that was very clean. There were also some free granola bars and stuff in the hallway.

We made a reservation for 12 and when we arrived with 16 in our party it was no problem. Our waitress was absolutely the best .... very efficient, fast and pleasant. Probably half of us ordered the daily special lasagna. The other half wished they did. It was beyond delicious with a large green salad and tasty garlic bead. We camp in Lewiston, Ca. twice a year and will definitely be back!

What a great place! My wife and myself stubbled upon this place and were fortunate enough to get a room on a Saturday night. The current owner has really done a nice job in keeping this place clean and it has so much character. 6 rooms upstairs - they are not big by any means but they have comfy beds. Downstairs - The restaurant and bar both exceeded expectations. Wonderful river access right at the end of the fly zone. The owner (Mike & family) really do a great job and we will most certainly visit this place again.

We stayed here for several days during vacation. The rooms were fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. I loved the history and the fact that we had a bar and grill attached that was open for part of our stay. The views were spectacular and the view from the bedroom was the best! They provided clean towels and a hamper in the bathroom to leave them. I think the upstairs where the rooms are used to be a brothel. There is one large bathroom that I saw. There may have been another around the other wing, but I didn't go looking. We never had a wait for the bathroom. There's a little nook upstairs with a type of kuerig, coffee, tea, oatmeal, granola bars, etc. It also has several different types of board games. I loved the comfortable seating on the front porch. The rear lawn area has random seating everywhere, including along the river. I have a few mosquito bites, but it's not bad considering I put on no mosquito spray and we're right on the water. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service!! We did our wedding and reception here. Setting was ideal and the owner team and staff went the extra mile to ensure our event was exceptional! The guests all complimented the food. Will definitely return to this fun bar and grill!

Great family run business that makes you feel right at home when you come through the door. The fish tacos are something I crave when I have not visited in a while! Looking forward to our next trip up to Lewiston.

Don't expect more than a bed and luggage rack in the rooms, but that's fine, because you aren't there to stay in the room. Go down to the restraunt/bar, enjoy the atmosphere. Then head for a lake for a float. It's an old building, but super charming and priced right. Loads of character in the building.

Look, hotels are hotels but what really makes them are the people. Katie and Kyle run the show and run a tight ship but you’d never know it. When you chat with them, or the staff, you just feel like you met friends and are at their house and they treat you like family. When you get a chance to go…go, and guaranteed you’ll be heading back with friends.

Friendly, family run hotel from the gold rush era. Bar&Grill is the best food and drink for miles. Be ready to mingle with the locals at the bar or enjoy a game of horseshoes or disk golf in the backyard. Sitting by the river during the day was a real treat too. We will be back!

The employees are very attentive and nice. Other than the Moose Lodge this is the only place I know of in Lewiston where you can sit and socialize with drinks and food.

I just spent some time in the very historic town of Lewiston, California and was able to visit the Lewiston Hotel which is under new management. The hotel is being remodeled but the owners have worked hard to keep the historic charm of this very rare gem that overlooks the beautiful Trinity river. Everything about this area is beautiful and the owners are very welcoming. The bar has such a rustic charm to it with a large variety of drinks and absolutely amazing food. Will definitely visit in the future.

Such a historic place. Everywhere you look you get the feeling you have stepped back in time. The owners are so friendly, and the service is top notch. The cook takes such pride in every meal he prepares. And the view off the back deck looking at the Trinity River at sunset is just breath taking. It's well worth the drive out there. And it's just a few miles from Lewiston Lake and Trinity Lake. So after a long day at the lake and you need to fill your belly, you can choose from a great hamburger or take on one of their house specials. You won't regret the drive once your there.
