Ramon's Mexican Restaurant

We finally had the time to stop in here! The staff was very friendly & the food quite delicious. My hubs & I split the carnitas platter to save room for sopapillas 😉 They must slow roast the pork, cut it & fry it 🤗 So good! The sopas were perfect, some of the best I have had in a while! Certainly hope to stop again 😉

I thought I have tasted the best Mexican in the US till I stopped in Ramons for lunch. At first when they bought over the carnitas, I was disappointed because it wasn’t what I was used to. There were onions, tomatoes and peppers and the pork was fried but it was amazing. My husband got the Macho Burrito with chicken, beef and pork and he loved it. For dessert we got the fried ice cream and Flan and it was the perfect way to finish our meals. I wish we weren’t just driving through. Highly recommend!!!!

I would give service 6 stars if I could! They were clearly short-staffed but they made sure we were taken care of promptly. The food was excellent and authentic. Prices are pretty consistent with the area. Thank you for a great meal!

Went here with a group of 10 during a ski trip to Wolf Creek and the staff were totally unfazed by the size of our group. Our server, David, was friendly and came by often to check if we needed anything else. We got multiple rounds of house margaritas, and the queso dip was delicious too. Our entire group was very happy with what we got to eat, and we'll definitely go back again when we're in town.

Went here twice in a week with a big group (friends in from all over the country). Our waiter David was awesome. He remembered the second time and brought us our cocktails (house marg, lit!) before we even asked. Super solid food and fast friendly service. Can’t recommend enough if you’re in town!!!

Everything was 5 stars, hostess, friendly and attentive waiter! Food was delicious!! Atmosphere was fabulous sitting by a cozy fireplace and the view was awesome!!!

If you are driving near here this is the right place to eat!!!! Great Mexican authentic flavor the best I have ever tried in US as Mexican restaurant.
We are a family of 5 with teenagers we had a great attention by Marco. Great quality of food, variety and great drinks. Margaritas!!! Amazing. Must!!

This was some of the best mexican food I've ever had! The margs were super good! I had the burrito smothered in green chili and it was amazing! Chips and salsa were also awesome!

Stayed in South Fork for a small getaway from the city. Decided to eat here at Ramon's the first night and it was excellent! Great service and fabulous green chili! Cannot wait until we go back to this area of Colorado to eat here again!

Stopped in Ramon's for some to-go food while staying in South Fork. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. I will stop by Ramon's again when I am in town. Thank you!

Ramons Mexican Restaurant is authentic Mexican food served however you like it. They have a fine selection of beer, wine, and spirits. I will definitely stop here to eat anytime we pass this restaurant during our travels. The service is excellent. Enjoy outdoor dining as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to families, couples or single people.

I have no idea how this place isn’t over all five stars, The food is fantastic! Good size portions, great flavor, amazing prices, and of course you can’t go wrong with the chips and salsa!

Like many Texans, I love Colorado. Like many Texans, baby me was given Tex Mex was my first solid food. I have been a patron of Ramon's South Fork since they opened the doors. These guys beat a lot of Tex Mex back in Dallas. Their chicken flautas are not to be missed. I swear they're using some kind of pastry for the crust, yet wonderful pieces of whole chicken are sealed within. The house margarita is huge and wonderful. Also, they're lightning quick getting huge plates of food out, at least that's been my experience over the last 2 dozen visits. An absolute treasure.

Update Jan 2023 - Still amazing. Service and food have not dropped off even during off season. Food on our table in less than 5 minutes after ordering

My husband and I stopped in on our way home to Missouri, after a week long trip to Grand Canyon, Bryce, Arches, and Mesa Verde…and the food was wonderful, as well as the staff. Including the adorable little boy who was dressed as a waiter. He was so well behaved, and it made us smile. This was the best meal we had during our trip as well!

Fantastic service and amazing food! Our server was very polite and attentive, refilling our chips before we even completely finished the basket, and he was very quick with water refills. When the food came, it was absolutely incredible. I had the carnitas plate and it was so tasty, not to mention a very generous portion! I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

LARGE portions, staff were so humble and attentive. Lots of flavor, and options. We have passed this placed hundreds of times and finally stopped. Glad we did, this will become a regular.

Great food, great atmosphere. Service was slow but they were also very busy. The Michelada’s are pretty good, one of my fav!
