Mountain Pizza & Taproom

We are visiting from Minnesota for a trip to Colorado. We just randomly stopped at this pizza store. One of the best pizza we ever had. The owner and the staff were very generous. They made us our pizza even when we are there after their closing time. Great location and great patio too. I will highly recommend this place for visitors to stop and have great pizza.

I recommend at least going once! (3/5 stars) My partner and I walked in at 7:45 (they close at 8pm) they were super welcoming and not upset that we came in so close to closing time. The pizza needed to be cooked longer, despite requesting sauces we had to go back to and ask for them again, we had asked for Gatorade and also had to ask for it again. The sweet chili wings were delicious and so were the French fries! Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere, the craft drinks, and the service! They also offer wine.

Excellent experience every time we come which is usually always during our annual ski trip. The food is great! It’s definitely not your average pizza you get back home. The service is excellent and they are always so helpful and happy to make my daughter a cheese free pizza because of her milk allergy! (The crust is milk and egg free which is awesome for allergy kids) Beer selection is great as well! Definitely don’t miss out on eating here during your stay at South Fork!

Very friendly people, service was great and direct. Beautiful place and the setup is very nice. Me personally I am not a huge fan of pizza and this place single handedly made me like pizza. All around great for the family and the pizza prices and sizes are very fair.

Highly recommend this place. The pizza is excellent. The beer wall is super cool and has a wide variety of offerings. A nice place to post up for a good time after a day of skiing Wolf Creek!

Excellent pizza! Thin and crispy. Staff was very friendly! Great beer selection. Place is clean, but seating could use a slight update. Worth the stop if you are in South Fork, CO.

*Went back a second time, that same week, and wanted to added the Detroit Style pizza is also fantastic!

The beer selection is great. Was so nice to sit back and enjoy a brew while waiting for the pizza. And when the pizza came. Wow. Was it good. Had the hellfire pizza and the flavors were fantastic. Service was great. The guys working were very welcoming and friendly. Will come back again for sure!

Amazing food and such a cool beer dispenser with 14 different beers to choose from.The staff made jokes and had a good time.When you walk in u see a monster saying that he loves pizza.The food came out and the crust was amazing, a top five pizza place for sure

Great pizza!!! Went in there there was one one guy working behind the counter taking orders and cooking. Hardest working guy I've seen in a long time. Still cranked out a great pie, in a reasonable amount of time for being swamped.

We called on Thanksgiving they answered the phone. Great service and food. Also noticed the tap service and will tell some friends about it. Thank Scotty for the best service.

Super friendly service. Most excellent pizza. We came in after lunch and there were a couple of dirty tables so, but we may be back tomorrow!

The owner was super sweet and the food was top notch! I had the cauliflower crust pizza and it was superb. My husband had the regular crust meat lovers and absolutely loved it

A shining beacon in the snowstorm. Fresh hot pizza, spicy wings, cold beer, great service. Logan saved our life and the food saved our day! Definitely the best pizza this side of Wolf Creek Pass!

Pizza was absolutely delicious. The marinara sauce is what made the pizza. All the beer choices made for a nice afternoon break while exploring the mountains.

Blown away by this experience. My family of four showed up 10 minutes before close and Scotty was super friendly and made us feel at home and welcome to stay as long as we needed. He made us delicious pizza for dinner (the Detroit style is awesome). While we were eating (and he was closing up) another customer came in and he didn’t turn her away. This was our first visit, but the awesome customer service from Scotty and yummy food will bring us back! What a great guy!

In South Fork with family for vacation. The pizza was amazing. Add beer and a beautiful scenery, and you have a winning combination. We will be back before we leave!

We rolled into town late just looking for a motel room. Stopped by Mountain Pizza to grab a bite to eat. A lucky find! The meat lovers pizza was done in a flash. The crust was crispy, the toppings were plentiful and delicious. Plenty of choices on tap also. If you can’t find a brew you like, there’s something wrong with you.

Their pizza (medium with cheese) was the best pizza I've had in Colorado. It's a shame they are 4 hours away. We also ordered the cinnamon sugar puffs. They come with a side of honey, and I ordered ice cream with it. It was like eating fried ice cream, but better. They also have this cool, serve yourself beer system. We were really happy with Mountain Pizza, and next time we are in town, we will absolutely be coming back.
