The Cutwater on Payette Lake

Our first time coming to Cutwater. We had a wonderful table by the window to enjoy the sunset on the lake and mountains, even had a deer parade! Our server Ann , was fantastic and our food and drink delicious. We had the Steak Frites, and the Thai Green Curry with Shrimp. Drinks hubby had a perfectly made Manhattan and I had the Huckleberry lemonade. We definitely will be back!

Stopped in for lunch on this cold Sunday in McCall. I really enjoy this place, you get the best view of Payette Lake, the food is great and reasonably priced, and they have a good beer selection. Today's ice cold Hazy's hit the spot and the chicken quesadilla and chicken tortilla soup were absolutely great. Thanks

My husband and I came up for his birthday weekend, and I booked a table online - easy to do and followed up with a phone call to make sure we got a table with a lake view. Cutwater delivered hugely - got table right next to the lake, had a great appetizer of potato croquettes, wonderful mains of the ribeye and halibut (slightly overcooked to my liking but nice and flaky), and the strawberry roulade for dessert. However, when I booked, I mentioned we were going for my husband's birthday, and they also surprised him with a cupcake - so sweet and thoughtful. We definitely recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful Idaho restaurant on Payette Lake in Scenic McCall! We had a table next to the water. Staff was super friendly and professional! Food was delicious! Such a beautiful location for a restaurant!! It’s a “must see and must eat at” restaurant!!

Brian was top notch! Food was fabulous as always.. the wine was AMAZING. Service was superb... we had the best day at Shorewood Lodge...

This is what I had expected from a ski town like McCall! Beautiful lake view! Delicious food and drinks! Very friendly and attentive staff!! Great overall atmosphere! McCall is in a shortage of good restaurants and Cutwater is heads and toes above the competition! Definitely try to go on a clear sunny day! The view is refreshing!

Beautiful place on the lake. Great service, asked to move tables so I can be closer to water (wanting a special seat since it was my bday) and they even surprised me with a cake! Steven was a great server, everything came out timely even though it was pretty busy. Definitely would recommend stopping by.

We ate here for dinner on Memorial Day, and I was blown away by the courtesy and kindness of the waiters and waitresses. As a mom of a toddler I’m always wary of eating out- nonetheless at a nice restaurant like this that my mom wanted to treat us to. But I was overwhelmed with the accommodations they made for my little boy to make not only his time enjoyable but also ours. Also, our burgers and ribs that we ordered were amazing! I highly recommend The Cutwater on Payette Lake.

We came back and tried again. What a great experience having dinner on the water for our 35th anniversary. Food was amazing, server and service was excellent, and table location/view was perfect. Thank you Cutwater for a wonderful dinner and experience!

Stopped in for drinks the Huckletini and the Northfork Cider were really good!

First of the view is amazing lake side and second the food was great! Top notch on the food and desserts hands down. Although we called ahead to ask for reservations and they told us to just come in and when we did they said they take reservations. So we waited while they figured it out. It was a bit annoying stating there with people watching you but it was worth the wait. Staff ended up taking care of us and the waiter was great Wednesday night 7/8/20 she answered all our questions and gave us recommendations for not only food but for rentals for jetskis as well. I ordered there special for the day Wich was beef brisket sandwich with parmesan fries and while I can definitely put down some food this thing was massive it had 2-3 layers of brisket and it was only $22 drinks were about $10 each and my wife got the seared tuna Wich was about $15 Wich she loved we also ended up getting the cheesecake and it was worth it as well about $15. Overall the place felt classy and sophisticated but not to stuffy. Definitely the price was right on the money for taste, quality, atmosphere, location the whole nine yards. Definitely recommend and will be going back for sure.

I had the best burger I have ever had here!!! I’m not sure what they put in it but the flavor was outstanding.

Sean the manager was friendly, accommodating, and gave an overall great service! He makes a delicious margarita and the Bison nachos were the best we’ve ever had. Thank you Sean!

A fantastic restaurant located in the gorgeous Shore Lodge hotel. They have large windows with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, as well as saltwater aquariums within the interior of the restaurant. Our whole family enjoyed watching the colorful fish swim around the the aquarium. The server was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Huckleberry pancakes and they were DELICIOUS! Best pancakes I have ever had! The pricing for food is a bit high, but it was a lovely dining experience. Definitely should check it out if you are dining in McCall!

I had this delivered as room service and it was so worth it! Great prices compared to other food in town, huge portions, unique flavors, and it was always piping hot!

This is my first time here, and we will be back again. Great good and a great view. Not a big menu, but everything we had was perfectly prepared!!!

Absolutely perfect!!! Can't even begin to describe how amazing this place is ! Delicious food and huge portions! But the view is unbeatable!! Definitly the best place to grab a meal in McCall! Peyette Lake on one side and spectacular place on the other !

Service was amazing. Our waitress was Gayla, she was very informative and attentive. She was very friendly and an amazing waitress. We were seated right next to the lake. Amazing view and the hostess was also very friendly. We ordered the special of the night, very big meal but worth the money we spent. Will definitely be coming back.
