FUN VALLEY FAMILY RESORT

First let me say we truly enjoyed our stay it's a beautiful spot in the Colorado Mountains. A few tips for the first timer that I wish I had know. Bring your own, we stayed in what they call the motel. A nice room with a kitchenette, but when the website says bring your own sheets they mean it, there were no sheets, no blankets, no towels. The kitchen had pans and plates, cups and bowls, no salt, no pepper, no oil, no coffee. They do have a grocery store with reasonable prices, about what you would pay at a convenience store so they don't gouge you. It was worth it though a gorgeous place, the staff were wonderful, the other vacationers were great, well worth the trip. I encourage you to try it out, we'll be back next year, and now that I know what to expect it'll be an even better time. Oh and it's a definite disconnect from the modern world. There's wifi in the office /snack bar area, every where else is a dead spot.

Fantastic family environment with fun activities. I like the location. Close to good fishing and site seeing. Tubing was fun. Close to Pegosa, Crede, and South Fork.

You've got to experience this classic experience of Americana. You will enter into a world like I have never seen with good clean fun and friendly campers as far as you can see. The kids ride their bikes all around and fish a bunch. I am more of a primitive camper, but coming here with an RV is a whole new fun experience.

If you want to try this place and get a cabin or room, don't expect a Hilton hotel! This place is to get away from the city and live a few days as a real camping experience. They have a lot of stuff to do on site, so there no reason to stay in your room for more than maybe 30 minutes for a siesta. This place has everything you need so you don't have to leave at all. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

This a great place for a family camping location. It’s loaded with things to do for kids. Overall, we found the park was clean and staff very friendly. Our assigned site was under water so the office reassigned us a site with no issues. I could see this as being very tight quarters for big rigs during peak camp seasons. We were here prior to the madness of summer so we had no issues navigating the park. We would not stay her again bc this is not our preferred park type. We prefer smaller more secluded quarters.

With its lack of cell service within the park, beautiful surroundings, family-friendly activities, and the chance to disconnect from the world, it is a haven for anyone seeking a memorable and truly enjoyable experience. Pack your bikes, leave your worries behind, and embrace the magic of Fun Valley. It's a journey you won't soon forget.

This place was everything we could have hoped for and more. The staff was kind and helpful and genuinely loved the place, and wanted us to enjoy ourselves. It's rustic, no doubt- but if you can't appreciate the charm, you might want to stay in your $200k mansion on wheels. The food was great, the surroundings were beautiful, and nearby towns were great excursions. The kids found plenty to do on their own once we unleashed them, and the organized activities were a great plus. They have a store on-site with everything you need if you forget something, and if you need help, it seemed like there was a staff member at every corner to help. Love this place, already booked next year before we even left.

What an amazing place this was! This is different than a typical RV park. So many trees and you really get a feel that you are in nature. The river is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We rented a golf cart and my kids loved riding around the park on it! Everyone we met was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

OMG the place is gorgeous. The South Fork Rio Grande runs right throughout the entire resort. Hotels, camping, cabins, new trailers with decks right on the river, restaurant, store, gift shop, fishing,tubing hiking,planned kids activities golf cart rental bikes.Tons more. Just awesome place to spend time with family or come by yourself. It seems everyone is family here.

We completed our 34th year at Funvalley. What more can I say! Families that go here experience a unique vacation and come back year after year. We have had four generations. Have fun here.

Been coming here since I was around 10-11 and I'm 37 now! Wonderful, wonderful, place for a summer vacation! Great staff, lots of activities and, stunning scenery all around.

This place is so much fun. There is so much to do. We met some family from the other side of Colorado and stayed in some of Fun Valley's camper in Riverside that were really nice. We will definitely be going back for years to come and bringing more family to share in the memories.

I Delivered Some Playground Equipment. They let me stay overnight in my 18 wheeler. The place was in a beautiful location. The staff and general manager were very polite and friendly. The food at the grill was very delicious. Alot of activities and as I took a walk you could tell everyone was having a good time. Alot of children playing and riding bicycles. I would definitely go back if I ever get the chance. Oh and the guy who drives the train, thank you for your military service. He was a very nice guy and told me the history of the place.

Had a great time with friends and family here. The grandkids had a great time fishing and playing in the river. This was our second trip and everyone had a great time. Everyone is so nice, we all have at each other like long lost friends. Get a cabin if you can. My daughter and her family got one right next to our friends/family. It was awesome!!!!

We have been coming here almost every year since I was a few months old and got to bring my daughter here at the same age this year so maybe my review is tainted with nostalgia. I absolutely love it here. There is something fun to do for everyone! The grounds are absolutely beautiful with serene little ponds and creeks flowing all over. All of the amenities are well maintained and enjoyable. It's the perfect quiet relaxing get away.

Didn't stay here but still came in for breakfast and to shop in store. Even came back a second time for store to get other stuff for grandkids. Kids loved it and have stayed here before and just a great family place.

Hello, I want to tell you that it is a 100% family park, an excellent place to relax and live with family and friends, very clean and safe, the employees do their work with excellence and efficiency, I want to congratulate them because they are very well organized and I want to congratulate especially the man who cleans the public bathrooms, excellent job, very clean, has everything.

I will come back as many times as I can since all my family and I left that place very happy.

I recommend it 100%. I will bring my friends to know this place on the next visit.

Fun place. Lots to do for the whole family. There are lots of people, so don't go if you want seclusion. The cabins are good. Some very nice. All depends on what you want. Lots of RV spots. Could be difficult getting a reservation.

Wow! my first time but what a great place. Can't wait to come back. Next time I'll bring my grandkids.
Excellent customer service, clean place with nice clean bathrooms with showers. Lots of things to do including 2 hours of dancing great country music 🎶🎵in the evening
