Overall very nice dining experience. We have enjoyed dining inside and sitting out on the beautiful patio. In our several visits, with groups, just the two of us, food has been good to very good. Excellent wine selection with reasonable pricing. Service has generally been good and very friendly, but of course on busy evenings, patience is needed. Love the atmosphere.

Very solid meal. I'm a critical rater and would have given them a 4.7 but cant do that. Their bread(pan) appetizers are exceptional. Calamari appetizer was a little off, but not enough. All entrees were great. It's not a low priced restaurant, but compared to some of the craziness in the area, not a bad value.

We’ve been to Tempranillo a few times and each time we’ve had a delicious meal. The tapas, paella, vodka sauce pasta and desserts. Our server Alex was also great. The fire place is lovely in the winter.

My favorite Italian food, try the specials when you go. The service is always wonderful and save room for the tiramisu or chocolate lava cake! We always order the penne a la vodka and the bolognese and are never disappointed!

Had 4 great tapas and torrijas for dessert. The food was great and filled up two of us. Great service.

The pasta with elk sausages was delicious. I also had the gazpacho of the day which was topped with crab meat. Incredible!

Delicious dinner! Very accomodating and great service. Patio was quite noisy, but I think it was because of 4th of July weekend. Off street parking was very helpful.

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here for about 20 people. The food and service were above and beyond! They made my family feel like part of their own and everything we had was delicious. My guests are still talking about it days later. Thank you to Laura for helping me put everything together! A beautiful restaurant with delicious food all around.

A charming and delightful locally owned gem in an iconic house in Basalt. Tapas so original and flavorful, like back in Spain. Sangria smooth and mellow. Part of the secret to the Mediterranean diet is portion control. Small plates, grazing and amazing flavors make this place my fav in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Great food, wine was amazing, but the wait staff really made the meal most enjoyable by helping navigate the menu. The shrimp tapas were special.

Excellent food and drink, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Pretty busy on a Friday night so a little bit of waiting between courses but we're in no hurry. Calamari and chorizo appetizer unbelievably great, as was the paella. Definitely on short list for next time I'm here.

My lovely wife and I chose Tempranillo for our date night restaurant, and we are very pleased we did. This place is a gem. Thankfully, we placed a reservation for our Saturday night date. It was still very busy when we arrived at 8:15. We decided to sit outside, though the ambiance is compelling both inside and out (although inside can be a little warm at times). The service was fantastic. The staff was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. We chose to do a bottle of wine and several tapas. We ordered the Chorizo, Chistorra, Butifarra Stew (hearty and delicious), the Pan (a necessary addition to the Tapas we ordered), Alcachofas Fritas (fried artichoke hearts - very tasty), Piquillos con Tetillla (amazing), and the Mejillones al Limón (Mussels in Spicy Lemon Cream - fantastic). The menu pricing was no surprise and worth every penny. Without question, it is one of the best restaurants in the Roaring Fork Valley.

We had dinner tonight, dec 19, 2019. Everything was delicious. We had a little mix up with our drinks but the waiter was very gracious about it and corrected it pronto with no attitude! We had a lovely table by the fireplace which was great as my elderly mother is always cold. I’d recommend this place to the pickiest
Of diners, you won’t be disappointed.

Well prepared and interesting cuisine. Unique wine list too. We've eaten here twice since the initial review. The servers are great! We just had Kara and she took extra special care of us!
