Mott Canyon Tavern & Grill

1st of all Josh answered the phone at 950pm and told us they were still serving food till 1:00 a.m.. Josh gave us great service. The Philly cheese and the wings were great Josh was the best.

OK this is not fine dining. It's a bar with reasonably priced good food, a cozy "bar" atmosphere, a very nice staff, good beer. It has never been too crowded and the wait for the food has never been very long. Travis and Taylor (Not the celebrities LOL) are great waiters. Thank you.

Passing through and this came up as a backup. GLAD we stopped here after all. Amazing quick service. Delicious Philly cheese steak and sweet potato fries. Football on. Beers good. Large portions. Didn’t catch the guys name but he’s hustling this whole place like a champ.

Worth driving a few minutes from Boulder parking to have lunch here. Easy parking, hot food made to order. No long wait for mediocre overpriced resort food.

Have been coming here for a year and can confirm this is a good spot for the locals! Good beer selection, great bar food, and a cool fish tank. Good vibes all around

Josh was amazing and recommended awesome menu items. If you are looking for a bite to eat before 1:00 AM this is the place to be!

Every time we drive by the Mott Canyon Tavern and Grill it is crowded! And we drive by often because it is on our way to Heavenly Ski Resort. So we stopped in and loved it! We had a beer, chicken dumpling soup and a French Dip Sandwhich. Loved the sandwhich and the dip was more like gravy but hey I love gravy!
And I can't not mention the fish - he was so funny! Watching us the whole time.

Good food... Mostly locals. Great environment. Great bartender. No complaints. I'll always go back here when in Tahoe

Best wings in Tahoe Basin. Stiff drinks, friendly service. Come for the booze - stay for the taco salad.

They have the BEST fried cauliflower wings! I got them with buffalo sauce and they were delicious! I also ordered the vegan impossible
burger!

Really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was great and the location is very athmospheric too. The bartender was really pleasant.

It was also not crowded at all, so we could relax a bit after a day of hiking.

Cute little place. Waitress was super friendly. Food was plentiful and good. Prices reasonable. The French fries are out of this world.

Outdoor seating with a fire pit. The evil shaker pint glasses are used for draught, otherwise it's five stars. My go to spot on the lake side of the Kingsbury Grade. Much love for the bartenders. I have to give the five just for the locals and the outstanding staff.

Delicious food, friendly place with very good and attentive service. We were a large group from out of State and were made to feel like regulars!! We'll be back!

Good little neighborhood sportsbar! Didn't try the food. Just there for a couple drinks.

Had the chicken tacos at the bartenders suggestion. They were excellent! Stuffed full of chicken and even though identified as spicy, they were not intolerable. The salsa is a roasted salsa that is charcoal black with an amazing salty/umami flavor. It has some heat so get some water but still not eye wateringly spicy. My husband had the chili burger. The chili was a little watery but he enjoyed the flavor and ate it all up. A great local bar with excellent food and attentive and friendly staff. A definite return to on our next visit to South Lake Tahoe.

An absolute hidden jem in Stateline/Tahoe!
Drink prices that are fantastic for the area.
Prime Rib sandwich and the 1/3 lb burger are SO much better than the food at the casinos!
MAKE THE short trip.
It'll be worth it!

Nice tavern. Really good food. We had the patty melt and the Mott melt.

Food, service, and atmosphere literally everything about this place is amazing. I highly recommend this place especially for a late dinner in Tahoe. I always get the fish tacos.
