Timberline Golf

Absolutely wonderful couple/owners. We had a great chat after fuelling our sleds and having a drink. Being on the highway to Cave Falls is very convenient. We will remember and patronize as much as we can.

We love stopping here during the winter on our snowmobile trip. The owners are very nice, and they have good food and drinks. Highly recommended to try out!

Staff was friendly and inviting! It was wonderful to hear the history of Timberline over a beverage at the bar. We stayed three nights in our rv and golfed two days…quiet and clean!

Beautiful place! You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into this place and it really shows. Great food, great people and great environment to be in. Truly a beautiful golf course.

For anyone reading, this is a great place and the owners are great. If you go there planning to disrespect the place/people or not follow simple rules, then I'm sure you wont feel the same. I have personally seen many people act like they own the place and that they can do whatever they want. There are policies in place for a reason. If you want to camp at a place that will value YOU'RE privacy and not allow people to drive through the campsites unattended this is the place for you. Prices are good, place is maintained well, staff is very respectful. If you want to treat the place badly don't go.

This is the most beautiful, well cared for golf course one could ever hope to enjoy. Their little restaurant serves the best, tastiest hamburgers I have ever eaten. I cannot say enough about it. Greens are exceptional, fairways are bordered by wildflowers and trees, which add a bit of a challenge. I travel from California just to play here.

My family and I played 9 holes of golf while visiting in Idaho last week. Our experience was fantastic. The family that owns and runs this facility was so kind and accomdating. The grounds were beautiful and our equipment which we rented was all in great working order. I would highly recommend them for golfing or camping. We will definitely be going back.

We just got back from a four day stay, we have been coming here for several years, the campground is so nice, alot of room, and nice and quiet. We love to play golf, the course is beautiful and challenging, but we love it! Can't wait to go back again next year!!

My wife and I have had season golf passes to Timberline for the last two years. We are both beginning golfers and enjoy the beautiful setting of the course and appreciate that it is uniquely challenging but a fun place to play. Bonnie, Carl and the rest of their family take great pride in keeping the course and other facilities well maintained while emphasizing great service. It is hard for us to imagine a circumstance where anyone else would feel differently.

This is a beautiful golf course! It is family owned and operated, and they work damn hard to keep it looking nice. They have to water day and night to keep it green with limited water sources. If everyone worked as hard as the Bates work the world would be a much different place.

Worth stopping by to see. Such a treasure lost in the woods. This is the kind of place to tell your friends about. Great for overnighters or an evening get away. Be sure to see the carved wood bar inside, and get some homemade cake. Much more than just golf for this family business.

Friendly ma and pa style service, great location for accessing yellowstone. Golf course is well kept, and the cabins are a great place to spend a weekend. Overall just a great experience!

One of the most beautiful places on earth. Carl & Bonnie are two of the most genuine friendly people you will ever meet. Staying at Timberline in February was an adventure in the snow. If you are lucky enough to ever find yourself in Idaho, find Timberline and Carl and Bonnie. They will let you into their lives and the memories you take away will stay with you forever.

Everyone is very kind and helpful. Great service, people trying to drift golf carts or jump them aren’t enabled & that is the only reason I understand any negative reviews. I love this place & would recommend it to all!

A beautiful well manicured golf course at the edge of the National Forest. The facilities are well maintained and open year round. Catering to golfers in the summer and snowmobilers in the winter.

Have had great experiences here. Carl and Bonnie are very kind and accommodating. Beautiful area and I will definitely be returning.
