Great place for drink and food. The place is busy, but the staff hustles. I had the burger with chips. I'll give the burger an 8/10. The chips were inedible due to way too much seasoning. They give you a generous amount of chips, and I was able to find a few with a normal amount of seasoning which were pretty good. My wife had the salmon which was good.

We decided to stop by after a morning hike. We wanted a burger. Gunbarrel did not disappoint. I had a chicken sandwich, delicious. My husband had burger and soup. The soup was a little bland but the burger was great. The server looked like he did not enjoy his job.

Definitely worth stopping by. The service was fast.

What a great place to visit, fantastic food, the potato skins are awesome, mac and cheese was right up there with the best I've had.

Located right behind the Heavenly Mountain Gondola in the shopping plaza. Has a great outdoor patio with live music. Lots of umbrella tables outside and not too hot if you sit inside.

I can’t stop thinking about the smoked pork belly tacos I had, friggin delicious!!! I wish I ordered the smoked chicken wings.. they look really good. A little pricey but everything is in Tahoe.

We stopped in after our hike for lunch and really enjoyed the food. I got their chicken sandwich with their home BBQ chips, and my husband got their bison burger with the BBQ chips. My sandwich was moist and flavorful. I loved the sweet and spicy tang from the various sauces and the candied bacon. The hostess and our waitress were both very friendly. We got in before the rush, so sitting outside was relatively quiet and peaceful.

I had a great experience here. I got a cup of clam chowder with a side house salad with house made ranch. The salad was a decent size so I’m glad I didn’t get a full size one. The house made ranch was delicious and so was the clam chowder. I had tiramisu for dessert, also very good. Service was great as well. The only suggestion I have is to maybe space tables farther apart but I get they are trying to do the most with their space in the winter. Maybe some patio heaters could expand it outside more.

This is my first review for this place that I've been to dozens of times. Its just a really awesome spot located smack dab in the middle of heavenly. Usually have live music on the weekends with an out door lounge that has 3 fire pits they turn on around the evening time and a stand to serve drinks for those not seated inside by the bar.

On this visit it was me, a female companion and my best friend ever (he's a dog) I love the Lemon Garlic Salmon dish they have, it is absolutely delicious, I did not get that this time around as I wanted to try something different. ( my female companion did get it and she loved it too)

This time around I decided to try the 3 fish Taco's, the fish being Mahi-Mahi. I'm going to be honest with you guys, I've always steered clear of fish Taco's because I never liked the idea.

Boy, I'm glad I'd decided to open my mind. These Taco's were off the chain! Like I don't think I can ever not try fish Taco's now. They had guacamole on them and were served with Chips and other lil additives which I can't name because I don't know them.

So, onto my main course, of course, DRINKS!!!!

First up I had a;

Banana Caiprhanha.

Strong rum based drinks, I forgot to stir it but once I did the strength kicked down a notch. It wasn't as sweet as I'd had hope it to be but still a delicious drink none the less.

Next up I had a;

Fast Passion Magarita.

Also strong, infact, all three drinks I ordered this day came out strong af. Margarita's are safeties for me. Can't go wrong with a well made Margarita and this one was no exception.

Lastly I had a;

Cucumber Dream.

Quite possibly my favorite of the three drinks. Smooth and crisp. Refreshing as hell to drink. I usually don't drink Gin but reading what this drink had included just sounded like I had to try.

Services was fast, we gave our number to be notified when a table would be ready and we're told it'd be 30 minutes but in reality it was hardly even 15 minutes.

The hostesses were very cute girls with welcoming smiles and of course my furry companion got the attention.

Our server was a very handsome man who saw right through me and knew I'd been here before and gave me off menu options for my drinks. He made sure to keep my drinks rolling.

Music started about 10 or 15 minutes after being seated. The weather on this day was perfect for the out door seating we preferred.

Loved this place, LOVE this place. Of course I'll be back again and again and again.

Ribs were delicious, alfredo was very garlicky and yummy, the wings deserved whatever award they won - phenomenal, the burger was exquisite, the salmon was very yummy. I'd recommend the chips over the fries for sure.
Pasta salad was ok. Enjoyable potato skins if a bit small and not so crispy- delicious though.

Erin at the bar deserves a raise. Very pleasant and hard worker

If the weather is good, I would recommend sitting outside. Food is delicious. They have vegetarian options in burger. Service is good too.

Public parking is available but it is difficult to find the spots on weekends.

Waitress was super nice & friendly, served us very well and was helpful. Enjoyed the live music outside and sat by the warm fire pit on a cold evening. Smell of the grill outside was very inviting. Our food was ready very fast. Grilled chicken, garlic fries and tri tip sandwich was great, flavorful. Lobster Mac n cheese was ok. Peppery and a little spicy. Didn’t have much lobster though. Fish tacos were ok. Quac was good but rest was not super flavorful. Moscow mule was good but was small for $15, and half full of ice with a not-so-fresh piece of basil. But flavor was good. Veggie burger was huge and delicious. Dinner for 4 people with 1 drink was $140.

Great spot to grab a bite to eat and grab a drink . They have a few craft beers on tap and more local brews in cans . We had a great pasta salad . The chicken fettuccine Alfredo . The pork belly tacos were bomb and the pulled pork potato skins . I was surprised to find out they had smoked meats so we had to try them . Great atmosphere inside . Very attentive servers and bartenders . Plus they light the fire pits outside at night and have live music . Great spot

We were there twice because we got: great service, cocktails and food. I loved the cauliflower (Vegan option)

This was our second time at Gunbarrel, both times the servers were super friendly and the food was super delicious. I got the salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes; he got the ribs (recommend the half rack, which is pictured, unless you're really hungry).

This is a cute area to hangout in. We actually stopped in this place while we were waiting for a table at the pizza spot close by. It was perfect for a drink and a snack. The nachos were delicious and the staff was friendly. There is parking close by. There are lots of places to walk around close by.

Great food, great service! We sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly, quick and attentive. I'd definitely go back!

This place is so underrated. I been there twice now and both times had great experience. P.S. The potato chips today were so good. Keep those.

My experience in this restaurant was absolutely amazing.
We came here during a blizzard on February 3rd 2019, during a pretty slow hour for this restaurant.
We were sat immediately and greeted by Sierra who was our waitress. She was amazing and took care of us tremendously. She answered all our questions and gave us suggestions, and met all of our needs and special accommodations. My wife wanted lobster mac and cheese but knows I wont eat the lobster to help her with her dish, so Sierra made sure the lobster was cooked and separated from the mac completely. Our food was made precisely how we ordered it, came quickly, and was AMAZING! Sierra was a huge part of our wonderful experience here as she went above and beyond the call of duty. The mac and cheese was A+, and so was my meatball sandwich and the jalepeno ketchup is awesome.
They have several local tahoe beers on tap as well, and they have heaters and live music outside weather permitting.

I have been passing this place by for several years, because from the first look, this place just looks like a bar that serves food to skiers and boarders, but it is really so much more and I can not wait to come back. Huge mistake on my part.

Lovely little spot with plenty of outdoor seating. We had the Mac n cheese and potato skins and both were generous and delicious. Also had some live entertainment which was good fun, definitely recommend.
