Bigfoot Restaurant

Can’t recommend enough!! The high quality of the food and staff made me feel like I was at a fancy restaurant. Well worth the price.

The food was absolutely delicious. They nailed taste, texture, presentation, and amount of food. We loved the mac & cheese, the fries, the tarragon fried pickles, and the salad. It was exciting to have a house made vegetarian black bean burger as an option too!

Staff were very inviting, friendly, thoughtful. They were quick to tend to our needs, and brought out food very quickly.

Delicious food and cool atmosphere! Who knew such a great dinning experience could be in the small town of Elephant Butte 😊. I had the outstanding Yeti burger 🍔 with their rosemary French fries, and I will forever want blue cheese on my mushroom and Swiss burgers in the future. The fries were fried to perfection—slightly crispy on the outside—and the rosemary flavoring added a special quality. I also had a fabulous cocktail that I can’t remember the name of but was kinda like a Moscow Mule only made with rum and had a sprig of mint. The patio space is beautiful and sheltered from the wind with cool murals. The inside is cozy and charming. Will definitely come here whenever I am in the area!

Oh, and I easily walked from the state park campground—a bonus 😎

Since I've lived in Elephant Butte, NM for the past 2 years, I've been eating here. The service is Great, the servers are always nice , friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. This place has both seating inside and outside in the patio, they are also dog friendly and have an area outside where we can eat with our dogs by our side, there are toys and water dishes for them also. The artwork out in the patio area is amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for anybody who would like to come and eat delicious food and an enjoyable day or evening. I will keep coming back and recommending this restaurant to all my friends.

We will be dreaming about the meal we just had! Lobster roll was the best I have ever had, our fried pickles knocked our socks off, and my soup was phenomenal. Hubby ordered the veggie burger and was also super impressed. I hope to go back one day. A must stop if you are passing through. :) oh and their patio!!! Also dog friendly.

Great vegetarian options and welcoming atmosphere. The pickle chips, fries, and Cheesy Mac are the best I've ever had (a high bar to beat!). I'm sad to leave knowing that my next 100 orders of fries won't be as good as Bigfoot's.

We are staying in Truth or Consequences, but this spot showed up and I decided it'd be worth the short drive to try out. Best decision ever - I recommend doing the same! Everyone on staff is friendly and easy to talk to.

Just make reservations. It's a smaller joint, and parties of 4 or larger may require reservations during busier times of the year :)

This was an amazing surprise. The lobster roll was fabulous and the Trois Fromage (chicken sandwich) was fabulous. Highly recommended. Kiddo loved old-fashioned burger, not kids menu.

Went to eat out with my parents while visiting T or C, and decided to try this delicious place out! I ordered the Trois Fromage (chicken sandwich), my boyfriend ordered the Chupacabra Burger, my mom had their Shrimp Po-Boy, and my dad got their Spicy Cashew Chicken. We also had their Gooey Fried Cheese Curds, delectable Egg Rolls, and lastly a slice of their Dulce De Leche Cheesecake. All of these meals were spot on, and I recommend every single one of them! Everything was seasoned perfectly, came out fast and hot, and just tasted so fresh. All of it is made by 3 chefs in the back, fresh and handmade everyday. The staff was friendly and made conversation, and they do welcome dogs on their dog patio! They have unique and fun flavors, much different from everything else around here. I highly recommend Bigfoot. Worth a try, 100%.

We had the Troix Fromage and the French Dip sandwich and both were very tasty. Charlie was an excellent and attentive waitress. The outdoor seating with the associated artwork and gardens added up to a great atmosphere!

I chose them as they were only a short way from the interstate and they had fish n chips. I was impressed with everything, from the atmosphere and ambience, to fair prices and excellent staff. I'll be back..

We enjoyed our visit in Bigfoot! The Bandito burger and cheese curds fries were great. Loved their outdoor patio. Very friendly services!

First time I've been here. During a monsoon even. Would have loved to sit in the beautiful patio area. Next time. Our waitress was awesome! For $10 the drinks could have been larger. Fries were awesome!.

Honest to god some of the best food I have ever had! Not your typical lunch spot, the food is thoughtfully prepared with unique flavors and ingredients. The lobster roll sandwich was to die for as well as the rosemary fries and homemade ranch! Just so, so good, can’t say enough.

What a kewl place to eat!! A special section for dogs to eat with there hoomans.. gated so dogs run free...water toys and poop bags garbage can and scoopers...they treated us like royalty!! Thanks Jean!! Awesome service and to all the other writers and bus boy!!!!

This place is wonderful, the patio is beautiful and relaxing. The staff works so hard to accommodate everyone with the small kitchen they have. The drinks and wine are the best in the county. The food is fresh (handmade patties and sauces).

The food and service is AMAZING!! We enjoyed the egg rolls and Bandido Burger. The rosemary fries were delicious and crisp (not too oily). Nice interior and exterior dining areas. Highly recommended!

Met up with friends for dinner and it was a great experience! We sat outside on the patio and loved it! We had calamari, cheese curds, and fried pickles as appetizers. They each had their own unique sauces and all were delicious! We had wine and house cocktails. The Free Thinker was so pretty! It sounds weird, but it's delicious! Like a bourbon sangria. The Campfire was a smoked bourbon cocktail. It's not as pretty, but it was the perfect cocktail. The lobster roll was one of the best I've had. It was very meaty and the sauce was not at all over-powering. The rosemary fries were the kicker. So crispy and perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to go back!

What a delightful surprise. We were passing through elephant Butte and Google showed us this restaurant. It's amazing. Nice selection of artisan beers and good wines but even more important good fresh food. My husband ordered the cashew chicken and I got the Trois fromage - both very delicious.
We will definitely be back.

We haven't been here for a few years but, WOW what a transformation! Menu and food were great and the covered patio dining was designed with groups and individuals in mind. You've got to order the rosemary fries! We plan to come back every time we visit Elephant Butte.
