Easy reservation system and easy pickup. Great food in the cafeteria. Great rates for parents can come up and scheme with their kiddos.While they're with the school and getting lessons

What a diamond in the rough. This place is terrific. The variety of terrain is excellent. There's something for beginners to experts. I went on a Sunday and lift lines were non existent. The main lobby and restaurant has everything you'd want w/ a great variety of food and drink.

Really love the open runs and short lift lines, so don’t go there.

Awesome ski area. Levels for all types of skiing. Decent sized bunny hill with a lift. Lots of double blacks on the back, and beginner to intermediate on the front side. Worth going, however a little busy. Week days would be best.

Honestly one of the best places in Montana. They have all skill ranging from beginner to expert. Their double blacks are as legit as anywhere. They also have some really fun groomers you can cruise on. They have everything

Wonderful for young kids and experienced skiers. We brought our three littles and stayed for 5 hours. Wish the picnic area was more spacious, but would absolutely go back!

Absolutely loved a Monday visit here. No lift lines at all, excellent variety of terrain, friendly people, wide open runs, and even delicious cookies! Total hidden gem.

Great day on the mountain. If you are planning to ski or board on Saturday or Sunday and want to eat lunch in the lodge, you will need to reserve a table ahead of time or at a kiosk with a host/hostess.

Such a great mix of beginner and advanced runs. There is a lot of parking however it does fill up fairly early. Can be windy at times also. Overall one of the best ski areas in all western Montana.

Although my kids all learned to ski here and we used to ski Disco every weekend, I hadn’t been here in a few years. There are a few new improvements including a warming hut at the parking area for the cross country trails, and you can now access the hill from the Philipsburg side. All in all, it remains largely the same, which is a good thing. Family friendly, affordable, terrain for every level of skier, great food, and the cookies......😋

Superb ski Hill. An experts paradise, fantastic steeps. Incredible grooming and we had perfect snow. So glad to have discovered Discovery ☺

Possibly my new favorite. My only con would be that a few of the cat tracks aren’t very conducive to snowboarders. However, maybe proper wax for the given temps would help a lot. Either way, this place is still awesome.

One of my favorite places. It's small, and the lifts are old school slow chairs, but it's still a delightful place to ski.

Forget yuppie Big Sky. This place has the best skiing in Montana and by far the best west of the divide. Your wallet size doesn’t matter here. This is the place where average Joes and real people come to ski. The owners are constantly improving the property and care about the quality of experience, whether it be on or off the mountain. I’m honored to live in close proximity. It’s only getting better.

I have skied across the globe and Discovery is one of the great gems in the ski world! The Pitcher Family does an outstanding job providing a great experience in every way. They offer an easy and friendly learning environment for new skiers as well as some great steeps for experts. Discovery grooms most runs every single day to ensure excellent conditions and can do more with less snow than anyone. The food is fantastic and inexpensive with homemade rolls, soups, cookies and specials you won't find elsewhere. Weekdays are like a private club with no line even on powder days. When I die and go to heaven, I expect it to include a seasons pass at Discovery.

The best ski area in Montana and on a powder day, The backside is the only place a boy like me can be happy. Don't forget to visit the cafe and treat yourself to some gravy fries and a big cookie!

Great range of ability levels, friendly atmosphere, easy and fast lines... but most of all, the views at Discovery are hard to beat.

So much better than dealing with the Jonesers at Big Sky. Great skiing and great staff.
