Anglers Motel

Quiet, comfortable, and the staff are very knowledgeable about things to do and see in the area that only local people would know about. Staying here was much better than any other motel we stayed in on our travels out west. I highly recommend a nights stay here. We stayed three and made the commute to Yellowstone instead of paying three or for times the amount for a motel outside of Yellowstone.

Seems that they are starting to upgrade the rooms a little. Staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. Location and scenery are great.

Ok, first off, the first room we were in had mold and mildew on the tub and the room had an unpleasant smell to it. We changed rooms and the other one had the same smell. The refrigerator needed defrosting, was leaking and the door was ripped away from the rubber seal, we told the boy who was manning the desk about it. We found an ant in the bathroom and one in one of the beds. When my husband went to pay he was told it was a different amount than what the woman had quoted me back when I made the reservation. She told me it would be $70.00 a night and when we got there tried to charge us $80.00. While waiting for the boy to tell the manager my husband saw a note on the desk telling the boy he needs to change the sheets when guests check out. Yuk!
I had to go down and tell the boy to tell the woman to come out from the back. He said it's her day off and and I told him get her anyway. She proceeded to argue with with about what price she had quoted me. She told me she would have to call Dave told her fine I can go somewhere else she then told me "well I'll just have to suck it up". We were finally able to get a room at one of the other two better and clean motels in Ashton, we went to the Log Cabin, nice.

Don't do it. Your car after a week of camping in Yellowstone is cleaner and more comfortable. The place is dirty and uncomfortable. The restaraunt across the street was the shining light in our stay. Good food..friendly staff.

Do not look for ice. Just a machine...no ice. The bathroom had dingleberries on the floor..The towels were like sand paper. the revving of motorcycles will wake you at 5:30AM The office is closed @ 9:00 and was not opened @ 8:00 when we tried to check out.

Room is clean, simple decor, quiet, but the mattress on the bed sagged awfully into the center. If it was on your bed you would have replaced it about 10 years ago. I don't know if I've lain on a mattress that worn out before.

No one was in the office when we arrived. We had to call a phone number and they told us to just walk in to a room that was unlocked. There was a big crack at the bottom of the door that let daylight in. Carpet was wet in the corner. Wifi didn't work. Stains on the bedding. Shower didn't drain. Mattress sank to the floor. Was promised a refund before we left and exchanged email addresses but our emails were never returned and a refund never received. The worst place we stayed on our month-long road trip. A TOTAL RIP OFF.

Horrible place to stay. The workers are not friendly at all. Its very gross. My sheets were not clean. Not a very professional place. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

Bed was hard as a rock..used soap left in tub so I know it wasn't cleaned.
