Strawberry Fair Restaurant

This was our second visit, after our first we new we had to come back for more. The cornbread was a major contributor to that decision. The food tasted amazing both times.

The only criticism I have of this experience;

- Some cream cheese with the smoke salmon would be a plus (I’m sure they would add it if asked)
- We we’re told the avocado lox would come with potatoes as well/home fries but it didn’t

A charming brunch/lunch spot! Though I don't come here as often as I'd like to, I've been coming here since I was a kid in the 1990s, and it's so refreshing that nothing ever changes! Always consistently friendly service, good food, and homey ambiance. It's always packed so be prepared to wait for a table, but it's always worth it.

The cutest little eatery! Loved the vibe, very friendly service, and the food was incredible! Parkings a little tight, but so worth it.

Right from the beginning this place awesome! Yes it is a little tight spacing wise but it was really cozy and child friendly! If you like feeling at home this is the place for you. And let me tell you the corn bread here is a must omg it is incredible you won’t need anything else in life I’m telling you. This place was also built in the 1800s so you can tell children that this restaurant was built a “long time ago”. The servers were average but food was next level. Definitely check this place out if you have kids super kid friendly and talk about friendly, atmosphere is super cool and unlike any restaurant I have seen. I live close by and it is walking distance so I come here pretty much every weekend! Come here you won’t regret anything!

The Strawberry Fair is a unique experience. Quaint little cottage with much charm. Our group of twenty were very pleased with menu selections. Our food was extra delicious and well presented by friendly staff especially our server Gabby.❣

We just happened upon this place on our way to Worlds End park and it looked so cute that my wife suggested we pull in. It is a house from the 1800's that they made into a breakfast and lunch restaurant. Let's just say this was more than just a great meal, it was an experience! The atmosphere is really beautiful and homey. We felt like we were on vacation in a bed and breakfast. I ordered the Autumn Sandwhich and my wife ordered the Beef Stew which came with homemade griled corn bread and strawberry preserves it was all excellent. The waitress was super friendly, she even took us on a tour of the place after we finished eating. It was decorated for the fall season and it was a joy to walk through. There is even a little patio around back if you want to eat outside. Parking is tight so if you have a very large vehicle you may have a little bit of challenge if it's busy. Don't let that deter you though, this place is 5 stars all the way. This is about 30 minutes from our home but we will be back and likely many times! Awesome brunch experience. Bloody Mary's, mimosas and eggs Benedict for the win. My wife had the French toast and loved it. The outdoor seating area was great and I think I just found my go-to brunch place for Sundays after a long Saturday night! We'll be back for sure!

I grew up in Norwell and used to come here with my sisters and Mum all the time. I remember getting dressed up and making it a special occasion. I believe the 1st time we went was in 1978.
I had the privilege with my daughter who is now 19 taking me here for breakfast today. Not only was it nostalgic as it reminded me of special childhood memories with my sister who has passed but I now am creating memories with my daughter.

To the food, AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, is an understatement. I had the eggs benny. The eggs perfectly poached, hollandaise sauce was light and delicate and not overpowering or too thick. The red bliss home fries were crispy and well seasoned. My daughter had the waffle; light and fluffy, and the fresh fruit and whipped cream were great. There was a side of sweet whipped sour cream that put it over the top. We shared a side of the corn bread and that is a must for anyone to order that walks through the door.

The new owner,Marko Fani, has kept the ambiance the same as I remember it 45 years ago and the food is top notch.

With so much gratitude to the front of house staff to the kitchen staff for bringing back fond memories and creating new ones. Don't change a thing!!! We will be back.

I've eaten there three times and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The food is delicious and plentiful, the people are wonderful and the atmosphere is great! I had eaten there twice with my late uncle, so I raised a mug in his memory to him on this last visit. Looking forward to returning soon!

Oh. My. Lord. This was the best place I’ve ever went to, what I recommend is the breakfast roll up with cheesy home fries, my mom and I’s food came out in 5 minutes! (Even faster than I ate my food!!!) and it filled me up before my basketball game. I feel this food will give me good luck. The waitresses/Waiters were ON IT. And it looks so nice, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ five stars

Loved the atmosphere of this place-visited here with a friend of mine. The staff was extremely accommodating. The experience was a sweet blend of the charm of different generations of staff.

Excellent breakfast. It’s always worth the wait to eat here. You need to try the cornbread and USE THE STRAWBERRY JAM. I saw so many tables sending it back.

This place is a lil corky. Waitress was nice and food was really good. Definitely stop here if your in the area not much around for breakfast.

What a pleasant surprise. The place was packed and smelled of all things breakfast. We were a large party but were seated within minutes. The beautiful hostess has been seating guest for over 40 years! Our waitress was a pro. Been there for over 20 years, most of the employees have been. The food was beyond great. Make sure to try the homemade cornbread with delicious homemade strawberry preserves. Did I mention the baked beans? Just go here!

A great place for an authentic experience. The omelette was delicious, the coffee was great. The service was very good and friendly.

Always so great service and food! Highly recommend the egg benedict or corn French toast! Yum!
