Simply Southern Eatery

I usually don’t leave reviews but had to with this. I travelled from out of state and tried Simply Southern in Macclenny Florida, and it didn’t disappoint! I was surprised how affordable the prices were and how delicious the food was. I had grits, eggs, turkey sausage and it comes with toast but you can order biscuits if you want. Five-star all the way on the taste, the grits were better than perfection and the eggs were cooked exactly how I ordered. This is definitely above any breakfast place I have ever been to. The menu has something for everyone and the ambience is perfect with booth seating or tables and chairs. The staff was working hard and you could tell enjoyed what they were doing and were very professional and welcoming. The patrons were nice and friendly as well. My only wish is that they had one of these restaurants in Columbus, Georgia.

If your in the area and need breakfast or lunch they can satisfy what your hankering for. A great selection and quick service let alone a friendly atmosphere to see you through your dining needs. When an establishment takes the time to make things from scratch and be delicious too you know you have a winner! I will definitely come back when I'm in town and direct anyone who enjoys a good time there!

Cute little place. First time visit here, but we enjoyed the food. We aren't big fast food breakfast fans, actually not at all, so we were happy we found this place. The portions were just the right size and the cinnamon roll, was really good too.

Small and quaint. Very clean. Great place for nice size sandwiches. Large breakfast menus. Had a Cuban sandwich. Best I've had north of Miami. French fries were just right. You can constantly refill your drinks, various variety. Off the beaten trail in downtown Macclenny across from library. Been wanting to try Simply Southern for a while now. Made the right choice and will differently be back many more times. Friendly atmosphere. Service was great. Opens for Breakfast at 6 am and closes at 2 pm.

My wife and I usually look for small, out-of-the-way diners when we visit a town. Simply Southern Eatery is why we do. Nice menu, great prices, fast service, small town cjharm, and it is proof the locals know where the best dining is at. I had the BLT and my wife had the fish sandwich. Both five stars!

Simply great! We were looking for a local restaurant while in the area and went here based on the reviews. The staff were friendly and delivered excellent home cooked food. Prices were reasonable and the takeout cinnamon bun was yummy. Highly recommend

I had a BLT that was out of sight. My co-worker had a chicken salad that was to die for. The service was impeccable. The price point was economical. We both truly enjoyed our experience and would love to visit again and again.

Omelet was great. Loved it. The brek burrito was small. The quaint atmosphere was very inviting. The sweet tea was the best. Very reasonable prices. Definitely will go back

Mom and pop kind of restaurant. Very friendly.

Best place in town for breakfast and lunch. Daily specials! Sweet tea...might as well buy a gallon! Not to mention it's also the cleanest in town! Chicken pot pies sell out quick, so get one when you get a chance. You can follow them on Facebook as well and they have 2 locations.

This restaurant is simply divine! Every bite was better than the one before.

Excellent quality food and not the same old routine restaurant food...I find it very hard to find restaurants that use real Whole Foods. This is the place if you want to make a healthy choice...
