I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the BluePearl team. Every single person I interacted with during my dogs diagnosis, surgery and overnight stay has been exceptional—so loving, so caring and so professional. Going to an emergency vet is typically a stressful experience but they really made me feel so at ease. My pup also always seemed calm and relaxed when I picked her up after her visits. They even brushed her out and gave her pretty bows. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my girl!

After our aweful experience with another emergency vet this morning we brought our fur baby here.
He needed to be euthanized and the other vets receptionist was one of the rudest person I have come across at a vets office.
We called Pearl and the staff was amazing. The young lady Brie took us to a room and was so sweet and compassionate.
The Dr came in and did the procedure she too was amazing.
I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
Stay away from the ER vet on Cypress creek road!!!

I’m leaving this review to tell the world about the best physical therapist Sal Bonanno!! My dog wouldn’t walk after his acl surgery and Sal got him back using all four feet within weeks!!
My dog doesn’t like a lot of people and wouldn’t use his leg after his acl surgery. But he took an immediate liking to Sal. Sal is also very creative and came up with home exercises for us to practice that I know resulted in my dog using his leg again!!
Sal is very smart, kind and most importantly he loves all of his clients.
My pup wags his tail and starts doing his happy dance as soon as he realizes where we are going and who he is about to see!!

Our chihuahua was having trouble walking, kept falling over. We took her to Blue Pearl. They saw her within 15 minutes and gave us all the options, pros and cons and cost estimates. We opted for medication treatment instead of other options. We got meds and were out of there in two hours!! The total cost was a shock and by shock I mean inexpensive for the treatment she received. Our baby is much better now thanks to Blue Pearl!!

Great care, very clean inside with high quality equipment. Professional and well trained staff. Dr. Alison Cannon very knowledgeable, she gave a great care to my dog Wally he was happy and healthy only after few days of her medical treatment

I can't stay enough about the exceptional care our sweet guy has received at BluePearl. The entire staff was compassionate and professional, helping to make a stressful situation more bearable. Every Dr that treated our guy was amazing. They went above and beyond with his care while he was hospitalized, through surgery and have continued to be here for us through his home care. Dr. Woolery, Dr. Cannon and Dr. Frame have our gratitude and respect for their dedication and skill. I truly believe they care deeply about every baby they treat. The facility is clean and well equipped to deal with emergency and special situations. The front end staff is buttoned up and helpful and the nurses and tech are well informed and on top of their jobs. Having to take your baby to BluePearl isn't usually for something routine but I know that everyone there will do everything they can to provide the best care and advice.

We had emergency situation with Elvis ~ our Balinese male cat.

It was Thursday/Friday morning around 3am on 14th of July. He was shaking ~ like few seconds all body shaking and it was for more than half an hour ~ when we decided to take him to Blue Pearl ~ which is 24/7. He got admitted and they checked him out and did blood work. Since his bloodwork came good ~ he was released with some liquid medication that we used for a few days. Yes, emergencies are not cheap ~ but we were highly satisfied with their deduction, knowledge and help. We spent around hour or two there, but came home happy.

Only thing I didn’t like was following:
They took Elvis in some examination room and I wasn’t able to be there with him or see him. He was there for like 30 minutes & I was worried.
I believe that this is a normal practice ~ but it didn’t feel comfortable to me.

My rating is 5 stars ~ they helped us, they did follow up & also informed our regular veterinarian at Middle River Animal Hospital about this emergency. I am very thankful for everything! ❤💖 Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about the great care I received! There wasn't one Doctor, Nurse, receptionist, or any person who didn't give their absolute best care, and show their ultimate compassion. They made you feel from the very start that you and your baby(pet) is most important. It was so evident that they know how much your pet is part of your family. They gave excellent care from the minute you walk in and made sure to explain all treatment needed and given. They helped make you feel at ease throughout the process of care given. I felt I gave my baby(pet) the best possible chance for survival and being healed.

I have never used Blue Pearl's emergency hospital in Fort Lauderdale but I was referred to Sal for physical therapy after my Rottweiler's first ACL surgery. I couldn't possibly be happier with Savvy's rapid improvement but more importantly, how happy she always was to see Sal and work with him. Fast forward two years to Savvy's second ACL surgery and my disappointment that Sal's hours had been changed such that his two days off coincided with mine and so far, nearly 8 weeks post surgery, we've still not managed to get the rehab I was hoping for. I am quite sure that Savvy's surgery was a complete success and that she will totally recover in time. I am equally sure that her progress this time around is slower and not nearly as comfortable as it was when she was working with Sal two days per week. Sal is a caring and compassionate physical therapist and more importantly, his talent is unmatched. To be honest, my Rottie is not the friendliest of dogs, so to see her pop out of my truck and shoot down the ramp to go see Sal told me everything I needed to know. To watch your much beloved dog limp into therapy and trot out comfortably on four legs is really an unbelievable feeling. I would highly recommend Sal for any physical therapy or rehab your dog might need, whether post surgery/injury or simply keeping those joints oiled and moving in elderly dogs. 5 stars to Sal!

I had brought a previous pet in to them many years ago and had to put him down. At that time the staff was so compassionate and did such a great job in explaining my options I was grateful. I just brought another of my dogs in with the same symptoms. I was distraught, thought I would lose her. My girl has never been sick in her 12 years. The staff called me to update me through the night, I was allowed back in the treatment room where I could visit with my girl while she was in an oxygen chamber. My dog had pneumonia in both her lungs, had pulmonary hypertension. I read online the outcome of a flare-up. Not good. They were able to treat her and she is back home with me. The entire staff is top notch. Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable. Very glad I brought her there.

This was my first time visiting BluePearl and I’m very thankful my primary veterinarian made the recommendation for my senior cat who needed immediate care. Everyone we met/spoke with was friendly, informative and caring. They were thorough and took the time to explain things. I was very anxious about leaving my baby but I truly felt like he was in great hands. And he was indeed as they were able to care for him and get him back home with a new routine to follow to avoid future visits. 10/10 recommend and will return again if needed.

I always had reservations about veterinary standards of care and the focus on profits over patients. My experiences with BluePearl over the past 10 years, however, has changed that perspective.

Last weekend, my senior dog fell very ill, and I immediately turned to BluePearl for help. The level of care and professionalism displayed by the nurses, techs, doctors (especially Dr. Tocci), and practice manager (Rachel) was truly outstanding. They went above and beyond to provide thoughtful care, round-the-clock attention, and genuine compassion for my sweet boy Watson.

Unfortunately, I had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to my boy. The BluePearl team handled this incredibly sad moment with the utmost sensitivity and turned it into a dignified memory.

I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of immediate veterinary care.

Post-Operation physical therapy for dogs is hard to find in SoFlo but we interviewed a few places and found Sal at Blue Pearl to be the most honest, caring and skilled of all the others. We 100% recommend Sal at Blue Pearl.

Ace tore both of his ACLs and was having a hard time trusting his back legs after the 2nd tear. Sal assessed Ace and after a few sessions of water therapy the strength in Ace's back legs was starting to show and his confindence began to grow. Ace enjoys Sal and his sessions so much!

Thank you Sal for making helping little Ace get back to his normal energentic self.

My Frenchie had an upset stomach and wasn’t doing well. Took him here and they were awesome! The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. They explained everything and took care of us fast. Thank you Jennifer. She was nice, knowledgable and reassuring.From the techs and secretary to the doctors. My experience was great. I didn’t feel as bad spending money on a vet bill when the care for my dog was so great. He’s better now and back to himself thanks to them! I highly recommend them, especially late night and early morning.

We take our dog to physical therapy with Sal. She is unable to walk and the progress she has made since seeing him is incredible. She has a stronger sense of determination and continues to show new strides each visit. Sal is patient and so beyond caring. Without him our french bulldog would not be making these great changes. Thank you Sal for all of your hard work!! We look forward to many more visits with you!

That hard day came this past Monday!
I am incredibly grateful our good friends recommended Blue Pearl to us, not that long ago, as a place to bring our girl, in case of an emergency.
Unfortunately, she did pass.
I just wanted to thank everyone there, from the front desk, to the Dr. and medical techs, and the compassionate people who prepared us for saying our goodbyes.
We appreciate what you do there, as we know it can't be easy to deal with these difficult circumstances.

On a scale of one to ten this specialty, emergency pet veterinary faciality deserves a bazillion points. Not only were they kind, caring and extremely professional, they donated to us a quality pet carrier for our cat when we didn't have one to transport our cat to and from the facility. Who does that? Dr. Abdo did a thorough check up on our little girl and it was determined we would have some more time with her. We thought for sure we were going to have to let her cross the rainbow bridge. You guys are AMAZING!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
