Windy City Pizza

Absolutely perfect hole-in-the-wall place to get all of your favorites. I got the chicken Parmesan sandwich and I swear I couldn’t think about anything but how good it was as I ate it. The fries are perfectly crispy and my husband got the wings. They weren’t kidding when they said jumbo because they were HUGE and also delicious. Thank you for the perfect lunch experience.

I was Looking forward to trying something new. Windy City got good reviews, and they said they had thin crust. I can’t believe what the pizza looked and tasted like. Just like my Italian grandmother used to make from scratch. It doesn’t have a pizza restaurant flavor, it has a homemade flavor. And as promised, nice and thin. This should not be an afterthought, but the service was very good and the staff was extremely nice!

I was visiting Delray for a work trip this week and realized I had not eaten any lunch. I found Windy City Pizza on Uber Eats and as a Chicago native myself, I could not pass up this opportunity while in FL.

They killed it with the tavern style pizza. I am a huge pizza enthusiast and this is better than most pizza you will find in Chicago.

You truly do feel like family when you are here, including when I mentioned that I hadn't had lunch and it was 3pm "Mom" offered me a drink on the house and tried to open my box and have me eat a slice before I left. I truly felt cared for.

I visit once a month. I can assure you each trip will include a visit here!

We had a group of 5 people, and Shelly was our server. She was really friendly and she had our orders out in a timely manner. The food was fantastic. We order 3 different pizza pies and some appetizers. Everything was on point. I highly recommend Windy City Pizza

One of the better Chicago spots in South Florida. The Italian Beef is the best I've found. Pizza is nice and thin with plenty of toppings. If I were to critique one thing, the sauce is a touch too sweet. Staff was super friendly, and everyone in the dining room was chatting table to table about where in Chicago everyone was from.

This review is far overdue and well deserved. This is one of the best pizza places you will find in Florida and we are so blessed to get the real deal Chicago style thick or thin crust pizza.
We have been here multiple times and refer all family, friends & colleagues. Eric and staff go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent experience with their amazing food and customer service. Their pizza is amazing but there are so many other items on the menu you must try like the garlic knots & sexy wings. Keep up the amazing work as we will continue to share with others and be back soon.

Love the crunch of the firm thin crust 14" pep pie I got to day. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect, and the pep was pretty fire, too. Garlic bites and zeppole were decent. The pizza is the winner.

This is an Excellent place to stop in any time they're open. The staff there goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience in dinning, and the food there is outstanding!! I highly recommend anything on their menu. I also added chicken with my Capri salad and I Love how they put the fresh chicken on the side of the crisp salad. Fresh ingredients, Great experience.

The best Chicago pizza in South Florida. It’s my most favorite comfort food ever. My Husband swears by the Wrigley Combo Sandwich. The appetizers are delicious too. The food is consistently good and fast. Sometimes we order and pick up. If you eat in the service is good too. It is definitely worth the trip!

Where do I start South Florida? I am from Chicago and please believe me, Windy City thin crust reminded me of home. I also got the sexzwangs. These wings were sweet with a hint of spice, a must try. I would drive back to Delray specifically for these wings again. Thirdly, I got what we call the Italian combo, they called it the Wrigley combo, Italian sausage and Italian beef combo. Once again, these options were so good I had to share with all of you. I almost smashed before the photo so please forgive me .

This place is as good as it gets! Stepping inside is like taking a plane back to the Windy City. The thin crust pizza was as authentic as you can find… and yes they even cut it into squares. But the best part was the Midwest love you get from the staff. They even gave us a little Chicago sampler with wings and Italian beef egg rolls (super delicious). Definitely found our new pizza place!

We are big authentic Chicago fans. We were referred to Windy City by some Chicago people. This place is the bomb. The pizza, wings, sandwich and cheese sticks were 5 star, *****. Thank you for the great dining experience....

The Pizza was just amazing! My friend had the Chicken Caesar salad and had to take most of it home, it was so large. She loved the dressing! We had a medium pizza between the two of us and took home leftovers. Shelly, our server, was fabulous! Just a bit better than the garlic puffs they serve, gratis, at the table. 😄 Eric, the owner, came to see how everything was. Just amazing hospitality. I will definitely be back and bring new people to experience Windy City.

This is my new favorite pizza🍕 place! The delicious thin, crispy crust... cut into small squares to please everyone and offer a taste to share. The little bread bites were amazing.
We sat outside, which was fine weather-wise, but noisy traffic going by. Next time we'll sit inside or do take-out!

Delicious! I don’t know what took us so long to try this place out. Chicken wings, Chicago style pizza, service, everything 10/10. We’ll be back!

Stopped in for a Chicago classic Old Style beer. It’s an acquired taste but nothing says Chicago like a nice pub style square sliced thin crust pizza and an Old Style. Fortunately for me I got the last two in stock.

First and foremost Eric the owner/manger takes great pride in the food he prepares. I heard him checking on the pizzas religiously during my time there. I even saw him toss one out that was not up to his standards. I think that says a lot about a small business owner when he has a certain standard and he’s not willing to sacrifice that for the sake of his reputation. I felt like I was watching a real life (The Bear). I mean he could get someone like me. I’ve never been in their before. I get one over cooked or under cooked pizza and that’s it my experience is ruined. The exact opposite happened for me.

The pizza was outstanding and the young girl that took care of us was extremely friendly and personable. I’m a little biased to Chicago style thin crust pizza personal, but if I’m going by the one bite rule for me being CHICAGO PUB STLYE BIASED ITS AN EASY 9.3 Stars. The undercarriage was spot on. No flop at all and the cheese to crust ratio was ideal. I’m leaving a overall rating of 5 stars for the overall experience. The person I was with said it was the best they ever had in Florida. Highly recommended and try an Old Style it’s definitely an experience to go along with the pizza. If he’s out of that a Goose 312 is a good substitute lol. He’s got all the Chicago classics to, Vienna Beef dogs, Italian Beef and complimentary Garlic Knots with a tasty marinara sauce.

The service, atmosphere, and food was amazing. I loved this hidden gem, Chicago style pizza down in South Florida. My entire family enjoyed dinner. Plus they give you bread on the house while you wait.

Everything is great at this family run place. Love the wings with their own sauce. The Blaze pizza was also awesome. We kept going back after our first visit because we couldn’t get enough! We’re hooked!

I regret not finding this place earlier and not taking pics of the food. I’ve had meatball subs at other places and they were just ok but this place…..WOW! I’m Italian and I’ve never had a better meatball sub anywhere else. Mom, our server was awesome too! My wife had the chicken parm, said it was fantastic. My sister had the Chicago hot dog and my brother had the pizza and said it was the best they’ve had too! We live 40 minutes away but I will make this drive just for the food and service. You will not regret coming here.

We went because the invention of Deep Dish Pizza (per someone in Chicago,) is 05 April....an auspicious day, as it is also my birthday! So, naturally, had to have deep dish and didn't want to drive 2.5 hours to Orlando for Uno's....
The pie was wicked awesome...a pie of legend, weighing in at at least 5 pounds and saying it will feed four (if they are normal eaters it will feed Eight though...it is MASSIVE).
Crust had firmness and texture, perfectly done. Filling was copious amounts of Chicago Sausage, Pepperoni and green peppers...the sauce was sweet, but not too sweet and NOT chunky, but smooth...
One taste and you knew it was a labor of love....
NOTE: it takes about 40-45 minutes to cook, so prepare for a wait (order an appi and a beer) or order ahead.
As an aside, and it doesn't affect the FIVE star rating...I would have preferred the green pepper slices to be slightly thicker...so they had more of a crunch, but that's just me...
We will be back! Well worth it!!
