Shenandoah Community Health - Winchester

I'm a new patient and just had my 1st appt yesterday. Although there was a bit of a wait getting an appt, I expected that as a new patient and it was no problem. I was beyond grateful just to find a doctor who was accepting new patients AND took my insurance! At my appt, everyone was very friendly, courteous and INCREDIBLY timely. After checking in, I was called back within only 2 or 3 minutes! The nurses were very kind and thorough and once they'd stepped out, Dr. A came in within about 2 minutes as well! He was great and I didn't feel rushed at all. He was extremely personable, thorough, happily addressed any questions/concerns and genuinely seemed to care about my health. I don't think I've ever had a doctors appt go so well, that I didn't at least end up spending half of my day in their office waiting. I'm very happy I chose SCH!

I have been at patient of Dr Beth Omundsen's for about 19 years. She is with Shenandoah now but is on a Leave of Absence. Dr Omundsen and her nurse Cassandra Grove are the best, kindest, caring people you will ever be cared for by. I had to see Sarah Easter my last appointment and was EXTREMELY disappointed. She said my anxiety/ depression medication couldn't be filled because it wasn't in my file even though I have been on it for years. Called and spoke to the front office and explained I desperately needed it because of health issue concerns, going thru a divorce and needing to move out of my house. It took me many calls and over 2 weeks to get my meds. Definitely didn't get the exceptional care I get from Dr Omundsen and Cassandra Grove.

I have been under Dr. Beth Omundsen's care since 2008. I moved to Winchester and was referred to her by a family friend. She has provided me with the best continous health care I have had in my life.

I was diagnosed with a rare chronic illness and Dr.O has helped me manage that additional health challenge for almost 10 years.

Within the last 16 months I have been working on approval for disability. This week I had my hearing with the SSA Judge. Dr.O provided thorough medical notes, a questionnaire and narrative to support my medical challenges. The Judge, my attorney and the vocational expert were very impressed and appreciative of her input and contributions to my case. It was called out during the hearing that my doctor's documentation was extremely helpful. We are hopeful for a positive determination.

Honestly, I couldn't function without her care and support. If we could only clone her so everyone could receive the 5 star/platinum level of care she provides to her patients.

I am 43 years old and have been to many physicians throughout my life. I absolutely love this office, the employees, the organization and communication skills are wonderful and I feel like I have a very attentive and knowledgeable Physicians Assistant/Nurse Practioner Adriana Posada. She is kind, she listens and she cares, 5 stars on this office and people!!!!

Wonderful office! Staff is extremely friendly and know what they’re doing. Front office workers do a great job!! I love my provider Sarah and I will continue care here as long as I can!

We love our pediatrician, Dr. Fitsimmons. He is very competent and thorough. Hugh Lebree is also fantastic in our experience.

The reception staff is very friendly.

Their new phone system could use some improvements though. There is often a bit a wait time.

Moving to a new town is hard, finding a physician who is accepting new patients that we can all go to is just as difficult.....however Winchester Family Health was wonderful this morning in accommodating the whole family and being patient with me as I set up initial appointments for everyone. I look forward to meeting the staff and our first visits. Thank You.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! NP Hugh Labree BEST THERE IS!!! But recently got a letter that Hes leaving the práctice😥 he helped me get through alot of stuff I'm devastated that hes leaving. Im guessing Hes retiring or going somewhere else I dont know but I wish him the best on his journeys. He will be
missed dearly!!! ❤❤

Feels like home! Every member of the staff is respectful and genuinely friendly. Really is "community" oriented. I recommend them to everyone!

My children and I have been going here for over 5 years. Staff is friendly, excellent care. Always recommend them to family and friends.
