The wait is long to get an appointment but it is worth it. I was in the emergency room without being able to walk for a month and Dr. George Stergis gave me an accurate diagnosis, and a medicine that helped me recover very quickly until I was waiting for my results. At my second appointment he prescribed me a second medication that not only It solved my migraine problems, but also solved my anxiety and panic attacks problems. He is an amazing doctor, who really takes the time to listen to you and help you.

Dr Stergis has been my neurologist for over 15 years. He is now seeing patients at this location in Winchester, VA. Highly recommend him and this office! He truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Henry is very knowledgeable. He took his time with my son, was very patient and understanding. He was also thorough with everything involved and informed me of what our options would be. I'd certainly recommend his care. He's been one of the best neurologists I've met so far, and I've met my share. I'll certainly be going back for continuity of my child's care. The staff at the reception desk were also very respectful and nice, as was the medical assistant. Thank you!

This office was great. I was actually late to my appointment and flustered from going to the wrong place and they were so kind to me. Front the front desk to the tech and the doctor, I had a great experience! Dr. Lyons was such a pleasure to get to know and he is such a kind soul.
I’m not sure why the reviews are on the low side, but I give them high praise.

Dr. Stergis did what WVU & UVA, and so many other neuro specialists couldn't. I had literally given up hope on a medical condition effecting my vision and within minutes of the visit he not only had my condition figured out, by the time I left, he had my vision corrected. Do you know how life changing that is? I can't give him enough stars. The man is a phenomenal!

I went today to get a Nerve study done on my legs and back. The front desk was welcoming and helpful when I got there.

I waited maybe 2 minutes before being called back.

My nerve test went very well! The nurse did the first part. She was extremely gentle and took the time to explain everything she was going to do and why.

The dr came in for the second part that involved needles. I am squeamish about needles and he talked me thru the entire thing. It was near painless and very quick.

NOTED:
I am cautious when it comes to male doctors. for my own comfortability I asked if they had female drs, they said only male, but reassured me a female nurse would be with me the whole time.

When I got there it was already in my notes and a female nurse was with me the entire process.

Everyone in this office was very kind as well as accommodating for all and any of my needs.

Dr was able to find out where and why I was having pain.

I would 10/10 recommend this office

I have been sitting here reading all the negative reviews of this practice and felt obligated to voice my opinion. My husband had a stroke a year ago and Dr. Capone and Dr. Lyons were his doctors in the hospital. They were wonderful. Now, a year later, my husband has started having seizures due to the stroke. Again, he saw Dr. Lyons in the hospital and he was wonderful! He took so much time and care with my husband. We felt like he was in very good hands. Follow-up appointments with Dr. Capone who was very caring, informative and took his time with my husband. We did have a wait in the exam room of an hour before he came in, but he also took his time with us. We had lots of questions and got them answered. I feel like my husband is getting excellent care with these two physicians.

I felt the need to write and defend Dr. Henry and the rest of the nurses and staff. He has been my daughter's doctor the last couple of years. He is always patient and takes the time to listen and try and resolve issues. He does not rush us and always answers any questions we have. We are very satisfied with his level of care. Maybe it's because we've been coming here for 20 years, but the nurses (especially Donna) and staff have always been wonderful to us. And we've not experienced the long wait like others have talked about.

Winchester Neurological Consultants. I just want you to know what really wonderful employee Christina in the Neuro Diagnostics / Sleep Lab is. I called this morning to cancel one appt due to scheduling conflicts but still keep an appt scheduled with Dr. Lyons in October. Christina was friendly, conscientious, professional and caring. She listened to me and ensured everything I needed was clearly documented. Canceling an appt may not seem like such a big deal, but in the end I felt that I mattered. In this day and age that’s a really nice feeling.

I read all of the reviews and I have worked with these doctors for 2 years at the hospital. They are awesome and care deeply for their patients. My husband had a test done by Dr. Lyons and he was very impressed by him. Hehas had the same test done before by another facility and he did not even know the test wwas being done. He was very careful and caring. All of these doctors rock and I trust them with my life.

I saw Dr. Choi before he left the practice and appreciated the extra time he took with my situation. He pulled out all the stops and ran months of tests, scans and monitors to finally pin-point my diagnosis. Most doctors would have given up.

I now see Tammy McDaniel at the practice and age has been very helpful in working to towards finding the right medications for my diagnosis.

The front office stuff has always been helpful, as have the check-out staff.

Dr Crowe, he is amazing!! I will continue to come here for him! The rest of the staff is a disaster. I needed referral put in for migraine meds and they never put it in, I waited months, and put in several calls. Once it was put in it was wrong and I had to do all the work. Simply just a mess with his staff, but Dr. Crowe is AMAZING!

Such a professional office. Dr. Crowe is excellent. He is patiently exploring my health issue which does not fit the norm. I have confidence he is covering my back until the next episode which hopefully will not happen. Thanks to a good office visit.

My 17 year old started going here and they’ve been very helpful! I’m thankful for their help to getting her back to where she needs to be! You all are amazing!!!

Dr. Lyons and Mindy (who has been helping schedule my multiple tests and been great about offering up her time to answer any questions) have both been amazing as I'm in the process of getting epilepsy surgery. I couldn't ask for a more cooperative staff, welcoming office, and caring doctor!

This place is amazing! You can tell everyone works hard and care about their patients. I'm so sad to of read all these bad reviews! Just sounds like they are needy patients who want things only their way.

The front office staff was so friendly. I saw Dr. Loyd and he was fantastic. He is so nice and was so patient and understanding. He was quick to get to the bottom of the things. His nurse is great too. I recommend this office and Dr. Loyd to anyone who needs a neurologist.
