I loved this cute little salad shop! They have specialty salads, build your own, and daily sandwiches. It's hard to find good healthy food for a good price and on the go! Staff were friendly and place was very clean. Oh and the pecan coleslaw was delicious! Highly recommend!

It was my mom and I's first time here and we’ll definitely be back! The staff was super nice and helpful. The actual salads themselves were amaaaazing. We liked how there were some different dressings that you don’t normally see. All in all, great place, great salads. Altoona needed a place like this!

First time coming here was the day after Black Friday and their associates were super quick with preparing my salad and very friendly. You can create your own salad for 9 dollars and I think you get 5 toppings ( could be 4). You can get double meat at no additional charge, and you also get as much dressing as you need. This salad was very high quality, just as a good ( or even better) than a salad that you would get from hello bistro and you’re not paying as much for it. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a great healthy lunch option in Altoona.

This place is a gem! Stopped on the way through town while craving something green, and was thrilled with The Lettuce Bowl’s options. I got a create-your-own with romaine, chicken, mozzarella, cucumbers, tomatoes, banana peppers, and olives for only $9. Their ability to adapt specialty menu items, turn salads into wraps, or create your own—plus awesome customer service—have us sold. We’ll be back!

This might be the best priced and best quality salad in altoona. Not your bar or sandwich shop style soggy frys and cheese mix. Everything was fresh and the size of a salad you get for 10 bucks is awesome. Staff was also great with explaining everything and helping with the substitutions. My new favorite salad joint!

Love love love this place. My new healthy lifestyle has been begging for a new restaraunt with healthy options, so when i saw this i was beyond excited. And they did not disappoint. My big excitements are the cheese and dressing options. If i want a fruitier salad the raspberry vinaigrette is amazing and when i want more savory i go with jalapeño ranch or the house balsamic is amazing!!! But all in all this is DEFINITELY a new obsession of mine and all the ladies i have met that work there so far are great!!😀😀😀

Best salads in town. Think Chipotle/subway but for salads. My favorite is the Cobb, tons of tomatoes lettuce cheese bacon and the person writing about the Avacado must have been in on an off day because I always had a ton on mine.
Another great thing I liked was they have a lot of different dressings to choose from and I love switching it up. Around $9 also wasn't too bad either everywhere else I get a salad it's just iceberg lettuce much smaller and very plain for the same price. I hope this place takes off! It's a great concept and Its a very nice change of pace when you want something lighter for take out.

This place is the best! I got a build your own salad with mandarin oranges, blueberries, strawberries, cheese, and spring mix for only 9 dollars! The portions were very big! The two ladies working in there were so nice! Will be back!

Absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients. Much larger portions than chain restaurants. Regarding the other comments about the avocado not being ripe, I’m an avocado lover and mine was perfect and I got a ton of it. Highly recommend!

Stopped at the Lettuce Bowl while traveling through Altoona. This place is an absolute gem! Fast-casual salads, wraps, and healthy foods. Will absolutely be returning any time we’re coming through. Absolutely recommend 👍🏼

Both Build your Own Salad and Tex Mex were delicious, fantastic portion sizes and fresh ingredients! This is the second time we've had dinner here and both visits were impressive. Well done, and we hope you stick around in Altoona.

I have to say since my first trip in after they opened I’ve been hooked. The girls in there are very friendly and helpful. If y’all haven’t tried The Lettuce Bowl need to get it together and go today!! I’ll wait!!

I got a build your own salad, my husband got a build your own wrap and the pecan coleslaw. Everything was excellent and the people were very friendly. Will be going again and recommending to friends and family💕

A wonderful little place to get a healthy meal. Finding a place to eat out that has healthy options can be a bit difficult in Altoona but this place is a wonderful little gem hidden among all the fast food restaurants that fill this town.

I love their daily wrap and panini specials, and love how creating a custom salad is an option. The staff is super friendly and nice.

I really like this place, ive come here twice with my cousin. The portions of the salads are very nice, the portion of dressing is little so id ask for extra :) overall i really great salad place!

Was very excited to see a place like this coming to Altoona. Have gone twice now and I think the salads are exceptionally good with fair portions and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
