Dr Abrantes and her staff especially her PA Josef are the best health providers we have ever been fortunate enough to have found. Their diagnosis have always been spot on. This practice has a wonderful support staff as well. The front desk personnel such as Susan and Rosalinda are so helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend this practice!

I moved to the villages in 2006 and found a primary care doctor who had been a team doctor in the NFL I felt that was as good as it gets. Then in 2009 my insurance changed and had to find a doctor who would take my insurance. I found Dr. Abrantes and never knew how lucky I was. On the very first visit she found ,through bloodwork, that I had issues that needed addressed ASAP. Before I left she arranged additional bloodwork and a specialist who would see me the next morning. I looked through my old bloodwork and the issues she found were there, in black and white, but never addressed. She and the specialist gave me another 13+ years and still going. Dr. Abrantes and the staff at Pulse MD are #1 in my book..

Dr. Clarissa Abrantes has been my primary care physician for 10 years. She is the best doctor I have ever had. Her kindness and respect for her patients is outstanding. She is always willing to discuss any concerns. Her ability to diagnose and take the steps necessary to resolve any medical issues I have encountered has been excellent. Dr. Abrantes shows that same kindness and respect to her staff that she does to her patients, making her office a pleasant place to visit. As one might imagine she has retained her staff over the years. A good indicator of a great doctor. I have recommended her to many people. Her name will come up in conversation and I have yet to hear anything but accolades.

When I moved to The Villages 9 years ago, my cousin referred me to his primary doctor since my husband and I needed a new one. After 2 years, I had to make a change and that is when I found Dr. Clarissa Abrantes and Pulse Medical. This was the best thing I have ever done! When Dr. Abrantes walked into the room on my first visit, I knew I was going to love her! She is the best doctor I have ever had and I am 73 years old and have had different doctors over the years. She is so caring and she takes so much time with her patients. She never makes you feel like you have to rush through the appointment. Her entire staff is the same way. When I leave the office after my appointments, I feel so good and know that Dr. Abrantes is taking such good care of me. After today’s visit, she hugged me once again and the hug was returned!!!! My husband and I have been patients of Dr Clarissa Abrantes since our arrival to The Villages in 2010. Her continued interest for our health has always been consistent. She is thorough in discussing test results and, if needed, suggests her thoughts on a treatment plan, seeks your thoughts and together come up with a plan for you. She is personable, caring, and very attentive to our concerns no matter the inquiry. Her office staff is efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, reliable and extremely personable. We are confident we will always receive excellent care and fortunate with our choice of a family care physician.

Dr Abrantes and her tam are so sy to talk to and whatever questions you have, they have the answers! Very easy to be comfortable with.

I moved to area five years ago from Vermont. After researching Primary Care Physicians, I found Dr. Abrantes. She has been wonderful helping me through medical as well as personal difficulties, of which I unfortunately have had several. The staff has been very friendly and knowledgeable as well. After being in the medical field for forty years, I know I can trust her medical expertise.

A most important decision and choice we all need. A great primary care doctor and we found ours. Dr Clarissa Abrantes, an Internal Medicine at Pulse MD so very qualified, caring and professional. She is always articulate, never rushing you through your visit and you can always ask whatever questions you may have. We are long time patients of this practice and love them. I was looking for a lady doctor and a friend recommended Dr. Abrantes. I am thrilled with the attention to detail and the smiling and friendly staff. She talks to me like a Dutch uncle, friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. Her sidekick, (nurse practitioner), who is male, is also a caring and knowledgeable individual. They were there when I had Covid. Lucky me to have found them!

Dr Clarissa Abrantes, MD is a professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and caring individual. She takes time to listen to your issues and concerns. She doesn’t rush through items that need to be covered regarding your health management. Office staff are friendly and assist with scheduling appointments as needed.

We drive from Ocala for this team, very kind and patient! My grandfather is in his 80s and we are now caring for him full time at home. They have been able to offer us FaceTime appointments and call-ins for the tough times he is not able to make it in. The geriatric and elder care plans they offer are here are like no other, even in home physical therapy recommendations. Dr Abrantes and staff have been and continue to be amazing. We are hoping that they can continue to be our GP/Primary for many years to come. 10/10 if I could rate them that high!
