If you've been around Winchester and haven't been here, you're missing out. You're sitting at the chef's table. He's cooking for you and sure maybe others but it's performance art. Edible performance art. Beyond that, the portion sizes are at least twice what you'll find at other breakfast establishments. When was the last time you ordered 2 pancakes, home fries and eggs and had to get served on 3 plates because of volume? So yes quantity is over the top but the quality matches. We had 4 people with 4 different orders with different timings and everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. We took our extensive leftovers home and finished every bite. Later. This is a definite revisit.

A delightful diner, just a dozen or so stools. The service was extremely efficient and the atmosphere was heart warming. The food was outstanding, we only had omelets but the two provided us five meals and they tasted exquisite.

This place blew my mind. Fantastic food with extremely generous portions! I don't think I saw a single person who ate everything put in front of them. This was a one man show and he gave my wife and I better service than a restaurant with a full wait staff. Great coffee, great food, great service, great vibes. Definitely coming back here.

Great little nostalgic diner with limited counter seating where you get to watch a classic short order cook prepare & deliver massive plates full of delicious traditional breakfast fare. Pancakes, bacon, eggs & killer hashbrowns accompanied by lots of hot coffee are front and center. I would go back in a heartbeat!😊

An amazing first time experience! Been looking forward to trying this cute little dinner for a while and I'm glad I finally did! Portions were very large in a traditional diner style. Everything perfectly cooked and seasoned. Staff was very welcoming and kind. Large menu selection with a little bit of everything for everyone. Highly recommend their omelettes and their breakfast potatoes! Heads up, it's a small location, so if you're in a rush, ordering ahead may be best.

First time visiting and definitely not the last! Very cozy little diner with an L shaped counter. There are no tables; but, do not let that discourage you from having a great meal. Actually sitting at the counter is part of the fun as you get to watch the Owner / Chef in action and he is super fast and efficient on the grill.

The owners Mom was working with him and she is a true joy. The food is amazing and the portions are crazy big. If you leave hungry it is your own fault.

The diner is cozy and inviting, the Owner and his Mom are an absolute delight and the food is amazing.

If you are in the area you must stop by, you will not be disappointed!

We absolutely enjoyed our delicious breakfast that was prepared right before our eyes. The food was delicious, large portions and affordably priced. Thank you to the owner cook and his mom for a great breakfast!

My preference is to support the local merchants instead of the chain establishment.

Well, today my son and I enjoyed a great Brunch. I'm a local guy but it's been years since I've eaten at this place. Fairly new ownership which use to be at the old Donut Diner. My son had the ultimate Philly and I had a Bacon, egg, and cheese burger. Both of which came with fried potatoes. We, we both waddled out with happy faces and bellies. It's your typical old school eatum ups. Something my dad called a greasy spoon. Folks, you will enjoy the food and his conversation. He was very respectful and certainly worth the money....Kudos to a younger man with old school cooking.

We LOVE going to the Piccadilly Grill Diner on Piccadilly St in downtown Winchester, VA.
This man is a pleasant energy, friendly, and personable.
The way he bounces effortlessly between roles; owner, host, waiter, cook, cashier, and the bus boy. Starting at 5am this morning, this hard-working man deserves your visit if you “don’t know” what you are in the mood for.
I wanted breakfast and Matt wanted lunch, and it was made at the same time, on the same grill, and is SO delicious.
His generous portions, delicious food and clean atmosphere keeps us coming back.

Found this little gold mine of a dinner. It’s ran by the owner who’s there by himself on the weekdays ( his mom and dad are there sometimes, nicest ppl you can meet). It’s a show to Diesel ( the owner) take orders, cook and serve guests all with a smile and great conversation. He remembers to full your drinks while cooking also making sure you are ok. The food is amazing we became regulars while in this little town. He’s willing to for a small charge to add whatever you want to your eggs or home fries. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu as you can see from the pics.... Oh yeah make sure you bring your appetite the portions are huge. The burgers are hand make real hamburger meat and well seasoned not bland and tasteless.

This place is great. There are about 17 stools. They were almost full when we got there. The four of us finished filling the stools. Diesel was our Chef. He was fantastic. The took the orders, he cooked the food, he got our drinks. He cleared the plates. He was very organized. Ok....the food was fantastic. We ordered 3 Frenchie Platters and a Country Fried Steak Platter. The Frenchie consisted of 3 slices of French Toast, fresh home fries, a protein(bacon, ham, sausage, scrapple, or corned beef hash), and 2 eggs any style. This was enough for 2 if not 3 people to split. Diesel cracked the eggs one handed. He would make the french toast batter fresh. He was great on the grill. Watching him was a pleasure. The Country Fried Steak Platter consisted of a breaded steak patty(yes it was frozen but it was one of the best ones I have had), 2 eggs, home fries with onions(cooked onions), gravy over the Steak, and toast( buttered and grilled not in a toaster). I like my fried eggs over hard, break the yolks, cooked well done. Diesel is one of the first cooks who cooked them the way I ordered them and they were perfect. I have had home fries other places and when you order them with onions the have added them at the end and they are not cooked and browned like the potatoes are. Well not here...he cooked them with the potatoes and they were fantastic. This was out first time there and it WILL NOT BE OUR LAST time.
Plan on spending some time there. Your order is cooked in front of you on the grill. Also it is not cheep. But understand this you get what you play for. The 4 of us eat for $73.00(that was food, 2 teas, 2 unlimited refill coffees). It was worth every dollar.
I have some other pictures of some of the other food too. The omelets are huge. They have a plate called the Veggie mess it is listed in the menu picture i posted. I saw 3 people share it and it was enough for 3 people. The coffee was great too.

Stopped in for a late breakfast for some amazing food! The prices are low, the portion sizes are gigantic, and the rockstar behind the counter was doing everything by himself at lightning speed.

Highly suggest the meat mess and cinnamon roll pancakes if you’d like a large slice of heaven in your life!

As we race up the road to pick our daughter up from school (her bus was canceled) I'd like to give a shout out to the reason we forgot we had to pick her up 😂🤣 if you haven't been to Piccadilly Grill in winchester then you need to go some time. I'd say it's best to go during the week as well seeing as this is a one man operation. Diesel, owner/operator, is an awesome guy. There are a few stools at a counter where you quickly get to know your seat neighbor and Diesel. He makes everything in front of you and fresh. He was peeling potatoes, cracking eggs, buttering toast, cleaning the counter, serving coffee, seemingly all at the same time. The food was awesome too. Hence our forgetfulness...if we ever take her with us she'll understand. 😂🤣

This place is awesome. I stopped here passing through, it's a good thing I don't live here. I would eat here everyday. I had a Nancy omelet with some bacon added to it. Home fries on the side and toast, I was stuffed. According to the name on his shirt, Abed the cook was incredibly personable and the way he tried to keep track of everyone's food while running the place by himself was impressive.

One of if not the best kept secrets in Winchester. My wife and I stopped in here on our way South. First of all the food is amazing with generous portions and Diesel the owner is a one man ballet while he prepares your order with fresh ingredients right in front of you. Since everything is prepared from scratch it takes time but the wait is worth it. Small and clean I would give it six stars if I could.

Fantastic- total hidden gem. Looked for something off our normal list this morning, decided to chose this.

Appearance wise, a bit of a dive, but CLEAN. Like clean clean! Stainless was bright and amazing! Portion sizes were huge, and owner/cook cares about patrons! Will DEFINITELY go back!

The Philly cheesesteak sub with fries was heavenly! Everything seemed so fresh and hot. Though we had to wait a while for lunch, the time passed quickly as we were entertained by the energetic cook as he dashed around completing other orders. The other customers also got into talking about the antics if the cook and his mom who showed up to help out. I suspect this small diner will become a chain of fine diners. The cook cut everything by hand in an expert manner. This place is a real diamond in the rough!
