Fairystone Pit Stop

I give it 5 stars because it's a great place to find fairy stones. You are welcome to just pull in the back and start walking the dry creek beds to look for stones. The owner was very nice about using their restroom when out hunting. My family and I had a great time here. If you go on a weekday you will have the place to yourself.

The Pit stop has got excellent gas, tires, and there service is second to none! I highly recommend these guys! Oh yeah they do oil changes too. Much appreciated all they do.

Great place to find some used tires,the best price for used tires also, they have used 14, 15, inc tires I just got a like new set put on and balanced all macthing set for 160.00 , can't beat that price. Go by and check them out.

Really nice folks and a great place for a forest walk with the kids. They loved finding fairy stones. The folks inside the store have always been great. Take cold drinks and snacks from the shop over to the picnic table - perfect for rock-hunting kids.

I needed tires and the guy that runs this place always has what I need to get, great work and also great customer service. I highly recommend for tires and oil changes and car repairs.

We were staying just up the road at the Equestrian Camp at Fairystone State Park when a horse trailer tire went flat. They had us plugged and back on the road in 10 minutes. Excellent service and great location near the park!!

I love this little place. I have been going here for many years. Every visit is like a mimi treasure hunt. Sometimes your finds are great and you find whole fairy stones. Other times you may only find a few pieces of a stone here and there. Now matter what the out come this is a great day trip to get in some outdoor time and they even have a picnic table so pack an lunch and go on a unique litte treasure hunt. Great for families and pets as long as they are on a leash. One thing to look out for is the trails are getting a little washed out in places so at times you have to watch your foooting.

This is a nice litte spot to stop at and park for a hike or to look for fairstones. I found many of them near the surface. I just had to move some leaves around. A couple of my fairystones contained garnets. What a nice surprise. When go into the side door there are plenty of pamphlets explaining the area, there is a soda machine, and even a vending machine that you can buy fairystones if you don't want to search for them. We've only been there twice but we've enjoyed it both times. I hope you do too.

I got two used tires for my farm use truck and went for a walk in the woods to hunt for fairystones.there was two cars in front of me when I got there but they were quick to get done.

A great place to purchase and or search for fairystones. Staff is polite in willing to help with gas or tires and oil changes. Prices are very reasonable.

One of the most historic (convienece)stores I can remember!!It was called Cal Clark's grocery decades ago. It still is a center of attraction! Located on Fairystone Park Rd,stop by it and enjoy all of it's history!!!

Cheap drinks and snacks available for when you're tired from brushing through the dirt for fairy stones. There's a little table area for eating, too.

Amazing place.Brids,valley,very quiet.People bring their dogs though and some times their's teenagers.Mostly everyone is very interactive with each other.Read the Staurolite(Fairy stones)shapes sign and Good Luck!

A very friendly convenient store with full service gas pumps and car maintenance. It's also the best place known to hunt for fairystones!
