I spent a week in the behavioral health unit due to alcohol abuse. I cannot say too much about the nurses, my treatment team which included my psychiatrist, etc. I was treated with respect, compassion, empathy. Even fellow patients were helpful when I was unable to do for myself, like carry my meal tray. I came out of there feeling positive and, for once, good about myself! Thank you!

I have been here on 2 separate occasions. The care I received both times were by far the best emergency room/labor and delivery experiences I've ever had. Amazing, compassionate, knowledgeable, CARING, takes your complaints seriously, attempts to investigate to the best of their ability. I had midwives deliver 1 of my children when my doctor was unavailable, out of the 3 kids I've had, that was the best labor I've had by far. The other time is a sensitive subject but just the same the compassion I received from my ER Dr. was extremely needed and perfectly delivered. They really truly tried to get my medical records to find some answers. I wish I could have these same types of experiences where I live.

Folks are always so quick to post a negative review, yet they never take a moment to recognize those employees or experiences that make the difference.
I want to recognize a few people that made a HUGE difference in my recent visit.

Each one of these folks went out of their way to show respect, concern, compassion, and a resolution. We need more people in this world like these folks. Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a better place because of THEM. Thank you!

From the ER TO ICU and beyond… this hospital saved my husbands life. The doctors, nurses, custodians, cafeteria and food services workers were absolutely the most caring and amazing people I’ve ever met.

My husband wad there January 23. Excellent service. I was very impress with the staff handling of my husband. The staff was very caring and helpful.

Spotsylvania Hospital is a great hospital. The Spotsylvania case managers are fantastic. Sue who is the Case manager that works on the weekends always goes above and beyond for each and every patient. Sue is thoughtful and courteous and very professional. Patients LOVE her and Sue always goes the extra mile for the patients and their families.

I found the hospital clean, up to date, and the staff very caring, professional, and knowledgeable. My procedure went off without incident and the nurse, Lynn, who did the prep work, ensured that everything was was completed before the procedure. She did a fantastic job of calming me down before leaving her area. The person doing the follow-ups was Michelle, and she called my home several times, talking with my wife each time, to make sure that I had no issues when returning home or for the first few days after the procedure. Everything went great!

Delivered my son here after 30 hours of laboring at home (was trying to go natural) but was taking way too long. They got me in so fast and the labor and delivery nurses were absolutely amazing and kind! Dr walker was awesome and everyone made sure (not just the baby but) I felt cared for as well. Dana was my favorite nurse, she was so sweet. The food was pretty good too! The room was very nice as well.

I normally go to this hospital the dr i had yesterday was beyond amazing better than any Dr ive come in contact with there .. she was very informative , patient with me because boy was i in pain & extremely friendly although i was there for 11 hours i didnt even care because she really did take good care of me and I appreciate her ❤ Jennea Correia THANK YOU❤❤

I was met promptly at the info waiting area by two friendly staff personnel. They asked why I was there and then asked for my name. Later I was greeted by a member of the hospital staff and taken to the testing facility. The test person clearly explained the planned test and what was expected of me, and asked if I had any questions. She made sure I was comfortable and proceeded with the test. When the test was completed she asked if I had any questions. She then escorted me back to the waiting area. Everyone was completely professional and friendly.

Mary Washington is my normal hospital but the ambulance took me to the closest hospital because of my heart problem. Your rooms were the biggest, cleanest that I have seen. And your nurses are outstanding every single one of them! The cardiologist Dr Morales was great he was efficient he explained everything to me he was good. The surgery room was clean the surgical nurses were outstanding also I was just really comfortable being at your hospital my original cardiologist Doctor Vu sent his asst to your hospital for me, and my surgeon Dr. Chanda did great. No one ever says this but for my first time there it was kind of sad to leave the nurses. And there was one nurse that stands out the most Victor I do not know his last name but he was the best. He was there to get me ready for surgery and he was there afterward when I came back to my room. He was back at the hospital on his day off for something but he stopped in to say hi to me I thought that meant a lot. I have told everybody I know, what a wonderful experience I had at Spotsylvania Regional thank you all very much.

Great experience! When I got there it was a smooth check in with no wait. All of the nurses were so patient and helpful during my delivery process. The nurse that was with me while delivering kept me so calm. The first night with my baby the nurse helped me so much with helping keep me calm because I was very overwhelmed. I am so grateful for the experience I had while delivering my sweet baby girl. Thank you all so so much!!

I brought my wife here at 1:00 am in severe pain after wasting my time in another ER. They called us in after 10 minutes wait. The night duty doctor and whole staff was v good. They did all tests and told us about the issue and surgery.

I really appreciate the receptionists, are very friendly, they didn't rush me they were very helpful and informative when I did ask questions or know what to do. I had them smiling and laughing which made it a great day, when they came to get me for my tests, the pulmonary nurse or I'm sorry not sure of title. But she was a beautiful young lady. Gave me patience and instructions. Made me feel at ease!

Everyone were so professional & nice. The reception @ the front desk is awesome!!! She has the best personality. I got lost trying to find out where my appt was at so I was kind of upset when I got there the reception made me feel so welcome & changed my whole mood. Sorry I did not get her name but I would love to give 5 stars!!!

I was greeted by very friendly, helpful staff as I entered the hospital. The facility is very clean. Only waited 5 minutes to be brought to pre op.The nurses preparing me for surgery were so kind and caring. My doctor, anesthesiologist, P.A., O.R. nurse allcame by came by to seek how I was and if I had questions. Highly recommend

Absolutely grateful I got to deliver my last baby here! I had the best experience ever. I went in after my water broke, and labored for over 12 hours. The L&D team is phenomenal and I couldn’t be more blessed with the care and support I received. I was an all natural mama and they gave me all the tools and support I needed to get through my dream delivery. Never once was I pushed to make a change in my birth plan to rush, or speed up the process. When my son was born he stayed with me for EVERYTHING he never left my room let alone my side. After I had my son, I was high risk for hemorrhaging and they made sure to keep my informed on what was happening and how they were going to stop it. I highly recommend having your babies here! You will not regret it in the slightest! They are angels on earth at this hospital. Even when I was pregnant I got severely sick a few times and they made sure to make sure I left completely turned around. The best hospital ever.

I had a wonderful experience here. I’ve seen some bad reviews and was worried. But luckily this didn’t happen to me. I went in with horrible migraine pain, the worst I’ve ever had. Went back and the triage nurses were very nice. Also got my IV in first try which with me is a miracle. At first they sent me to another waiting area with people vomiting and coughing and as a germaphobe who didn’t have a virus I freaked out. My husband went up and asked if I could move and they moved me right away and totally understood. Nurses were so caring and sweet. Also my doctor(Dr. Hickerson)was a amazing. I’ve been in pain for a week and finally have some relief. Thank you so much for the great care! I’m very grateful. Also my nurse who is usually a labor and delivery nurse was awesome! I loved her.

I was taken in very quickly and saw a doctor right away and started my treatment almost immediately. Could not ask for more professional, compassionate, medical attention. Staff explained all procedures before treatment to alleviate the anxiety of the patient. I applaud the staff at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center for their professionalism, and attention to patients.
