Winchester Book Gallery

I had a book signing at the Winchester book gallery and they were extremely accommodating. They helped promote and advertise. The crowd was friendly and supportive. I will definitely be back if they'll have me.

A lovely little local bookstore run by friendly employees. Very attractive displays and an entire children's section is available near the rear of the store (past the very interesting author's autograph wall). Be sure to stop in if you love reading and are in the area.

I try and visit local bookshops when traveling and I thought this one was fantastic. Great layout and really well-curated selection of books. Definitely worth a stop in.

Very quaint. Friendly and positive atmosphere. I took my teenage (13) granddaughter in and she was in search of some chapter books. I let her ask and the staff was very helpful and courteous. There was a space to sit and read. That day there was an author there for a book signing... so yes if you want nostalgia stop and visit.... mind you I'm born and raised in Winchester been living in MD the last 24 yrs... We then walked down the walk mall and had an absolute blast. We then went to the Water Street (I believe) Cafe maybe Grill. They had good food and 🍷🍻. If your ever in Winchester walk the walk mall.

Firstly, what a great selection and inviting shop! Secondly, any time I need a gift I tell the owner (who I do not know personally or outside of the store) the age and some interests and like Emeril says, “bamm!” She makes a suggestion that is absolutely perfect! Even for me, she knows the perfect book to challenge me intellectually or take me to imagination station. I’ve been going to Winchester Book Gallery for years and have never been disappointed - only increasingly impressed.

This is the best book store in town in my opinion. Very helpful staff and if they don't have what you're looking for chances are they can order it for you. Not only to they cater to book lovers but also music lovers by putting on small events after hour. Definitely a place to check out.

Since I have moved to winchester 4 years ago, this store has provided a welcoming environment environment, hospitals and a place to get lost in the world of books. I love it here and have always received the best of service, if they do not have a book I am looking for they will order it for me.

This is the sweetest book store! My family comes here frequently. They have an adorable childrens area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. If they dont have a certain book in stock they will order it for you. We love them!

Local independent book store and community gathering spot. Surprisingly large inventory and knowledgeable staff. The store offers 20% discounts on books for book clubs. Also, a wide selection of eclectic cards for all occasions.

My high school experience wouldn't be the same without the Book Gallery. The owners are the nicest people in the world and the store has a surprisingly diverse and eclectic selection of books for its size. You can also rent all kinds of films from them or buy some records, which are things most other indie bookstores don't offer. The Book Gallery really is a positive force in the community and you should totally support them if you need a book and are in Winchester!

I have been going here for years and have always received stellar service. I have been ordering a pile of books regularly for classes and they have always arrived on or about their expected dates. And almost every time, on the way in to make my pickups, I end up grabbing another one or two on the way.

This is a cool little book store. Lots to choose from, friendly staff, and it's on the walking promenade of downtown Winchester. They also host a board game night every 2nd Friday of the month. Great place to meet news friends.

Really well laid out bookstore with plenty of places to read (during non Covid times) and super friendly staff! Worth a stop in if you love books and are in the area!

This shop is so cozy with a wide selection. I left with a nice haul of novels, history, and sci-fi. Make sure to stop in as you're strolling the walking mall. I will definitely be back!
