Falon is so professional and helpful my experience with her was amazing.I am so pleased with how she helped me over the phone.She made sure,that I had all the proper mailing addresses so that I could get my taxes paid.Thank you so much Falon keep up the good work!!

I love the online system where you can pay bills and get tax bills. Every time I have called the staff is super friendly!!! It's not always this pleasant with other Government agencies - thank you for making the extra effort!

They treasure stuff

They've always been responsive when I've contacted them. Even over the weekend. They only get 4 out 5 stars because I used the online payment feature and messed up the Routing or Account number and the transaction was rejected. They treated it like a bounced check and mailed me a bill for 35.00 and a demand for payment. They eventually cut the fee to 20.00, but would not forgive it, even after they confirmed it was NOT for insufficient funds. I've learned my lesson. I will no longer pre-pay taxes, much less use their online debit feature.

Rude people that don't know how to email in the correct format. I mean the head guy Orndoff is a complete idiot.

Have lived in Frederick County all my life and can't believe how fast they are Fairfaxing Winchester and Frederick County.
Every year they tax us more and more with their unfair tax assessments on our personal property and real estate to the point where we can barely afford to live here and they really don't care what we think and they don't care about the current state of the economy or your financial situation, what they do care about is getting every penny they can get from you when they want it or threaten you with fines and penalties.
Don't know what the rest of the residents think but from what I understand about this type of business practice is that back in the day I believe they called it Organized Crime, ...think about it?
I live in a 112 year old house and our newest vehicle is a 2019 (dare to own anything new) plus 2 other 12-15 year old vehicles and our annual tax on personal property and real estate is a whopping $4500 enough to financially strain anyone in this county except for the commuters and the big city implants who are helping to make our city and county unaffordable.
In closing all I can say is that it's sooo disappointing what has happened to my home town over the 60 years I've lived here and as soon as I can figure out where to go I'm getting the hell out of Frederick County VA .

For the ladies who work here 5 stars!!!, they are all awesome. Everyone I met was beyond polite, respectful, and helpful. I met like 7 of them between yesterday and today. Actually didn't mind driving back today to say hi. Seriously, good people.

I grew up here, left for the military for 22 years, bought my "forever" home and wanted to retire here. I give it 5 more years and I'm heading to a more military tax friendly state. Virginia is lost and Fredrick County is quickly becoming another suburb of MD. I'm taxed on my wages, I pay an additional tax when I purchase something, a additional gas tax, and then I'm taxed yearly on vehicles I've already paid taxes on 2x before. I've worked my way up from poverty, to middle class, to the upper middle class only to be taxed back down. Punishment for success I guess.

This is by far the worst county i have ever been taxed in! Due to the pandemic Me and my fiance have been out of work! And me and my fiance have been planning on paying the property tax when we get our tax return! And yes we are behind! But it has not even been a full month since we got the pink letter in the mail about being past due And we just received another letter in the mail today talking about If my fiance does not pay by the end of this month then they are going to take her to court! Me and my fiance is about to go To DMV and change a another county for jurisdiction! It has not even been a full 2 years since we've been here And already they're talking about court! This is by far the worst county in all of our life!

Will take your money and give you the runaround. I over payed my taxes and when I contacted them, I was told I would get a refund for the overpayment. After 3 phone calls and told after every one that I would receive my refund in about a week. I eventually found out that they took my refund and applied it to the next round of property taxes. Not a big deal, but the dishonesty and lack of communication is very unprofessional. What would happen if I did the same thing to the county? I believe it would end up in a wage garnishment

They won’t help veterans on owed property taxes!Over 300 pages of people owes!Good stuff!

I haven’t lived in Fredrick county in 4 years and every year they send me a bill and I have to send them all the info to get it corrected. Crooks
