Winchester Dental Care

It was really good. They have really funny, respectful, understanding and patient workers. I struggle with comprehending things and the women I had talked calmly and expalained every step that she was taking. The work they did was amazing and focused on what you needed and didn’t make you feel judged. I’ve always been scared to go to the dentist, but they made the time much better. All in all, it was definitely 5 stars and I 100% plan on coming back when I need to next!

Excellent patient care. Explained everything in detail on my visit. The best in kindness I've experienced in any of my dental care in the past with others. Thank you just doesn't seem enough for this office.

After several years of avoiding, neglecting and hiding, I made an appointment. From the start , I felt I was in good hands.
Every member of the team is friendly and caring. With a treatment plan in place, and begun, I am very happy with my experience.

I had an emergency appointment. They made room for me that day. The dental assistants were very nice, funny, accommodating, and helped me as I was crying from the pain I came in with. The hygienist truly came in like a champion, asked questions and assisted her co-worker to effectively get the images needed swiftly without causing me any extra pain. Because they saw that even though I was not a difficult person my pain was unbearable. The doctor was very nice and offered options of care while he dealt with my teeth gently. They accepted both of my insurance companies and explained my coverage in detail. I was honestly surprised of how well it went considering this was my second opinion of my dental issues and my first choice said the same care however... the dentist was nonchalantly rude, they didn't say whether or not they took both of my insurance but said they'll gladly bill my secondary insurance ( they bragged on how excellent that coverage was) didn't state whether or not they accepted my primary but stated I would have to bill my primary directly after my co-pay ( I never heard of that). I didn't even bother to fill the prescription. I just wanted overall care and honesty. Winchester Family Dentistry has a lovely quality in the way they treat themselves, co-workers and their patients.

Everyone there is very friendly and makes me feel important. Dr. Gwaltney is wonderful, this place puts me at ease and I don’t dread coming here for my dental needs. I have never had pain leaving there.

Best dental experiences I've personally ever had. Everyone, I do mean Everyone is kind,pleasant and take the time to go over any and everything that needs done . They establish a care plan and all details. I was initially seen as I broke a tooth. They got me in, in a timely manner. I'm a little nervous at dentistry places but Dr Gwaltney and his staff are fabulous. They care about their patients and take pride in what they do and its noticeable. Highly recommend.

Love this dental practice. So efficient, friendly and make you feel so comfortable while doing the work. I would highly recommend this practice to those who cringe going to the the dentist.

Just returned from another appointment at this dental office and am once again amazed at their professionalism, thoroughness and friendliness. Also, what I have found very helpful is explaining to me, in detail the treatment plan and all it involves. Jordy, their dental hygienist, does superb work as well as her assistant, Michelle.

The service that I get at this dentist office is wonderful. The hygienist is very capable and considerate of my comfort as she works, and is very knowledgeable about her field. She answered all my questions and checked for conditions that I was concerned about. The dentist, Dr. Gwaltney, is very thorough and takes time to listen to my questions and concerns. If you get Michele and Jordie to work on your teeth, you are blessed. I am so glad I found this practice!

Finally found a great dentist in Winchester! I tried almost all the dentist practices covered by my insurance before I found them. I have since moved my entire family to this practice. Learn from my mistakes, skip the bad practices (*cough* like valley) and just come here!
