Wonderful service from such kind people! My friends and I thought everything was good.

I will say the more deep Southern/coastal ones of the bunch preferred the BBQ they have at home, but I loved mine fried chicken and ribs!

We collectively loved the potato salad and collards. Those the Mac and cheese and fried apples were decent too. Cornbread was a bit dry.

But the bakery?! I got a lemon bar to go and I was in love. Too bad I was just visiting. I'd love to come back!

Outstanding service! We thought we would pick up some sweet treats and go but we stayed for lunch. They close pretty early on Saturday, so get there early it is so worth it! We had the buttermilk chicken and wow!! This is a must stop and glad we stumbled upon it! The waiter that helped us look around was outstanding and informative. Wish we would have had him as a server! Thank you again for being so accommodating! My favor stop in Winchester.

This place is amazing! We Winchester every year and have eaten at just about every one of the restaurants..... I'm so glad we finally made this restaurant a stop! It is 1000% a go back place! The value is wonderful and the food is even better! They really know what they are doing. Dalton our server was full of knowledge very friendly and attentive without being intrusive PERFECT BALANCE!

So I moved away from Winchester about 7 years ago. But it's been longer then that since I ate there last. Well I think it's even better now. I had the three meat platter with pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket along with hand cut fries, house mac and cheese and homemade corn bread. The Wife had a crab cake sandwich, friends chicken, potato salad, house cut fries and cornbread. She also got a chocolate peanut butter bar and a macaroon. We recommend them highly and will come by next time we come to Winchester to visit. Owner is from South Carolina and uses family recipes. I can vouch for the goodness he creates since we live in the heart of low country now 😊

Want breakfast and bbq? I highly recommend you come here! Bonnie Blue Southern Market & Bakery is the best description of this place besides the fact they left out BBQ. The bbq is amazing here even tho I came for breakfast there’s so much wanted to try. Of course I got the Breakfast Cuban which was amazing I don’t know if they actually bake their bread here.. I sure tasted that way. They could’ve done used better ham on the Cuban. The potatoes were kinda too seasoned and spicy for my likings but still tasty. The Lump Crab Cake was the best I’ve had anywhere south of Baltimore! I mean AMAZING, full of real lump crab season and perfect with a generous portion. It was almost like going back in time being there, that southern diner feel. They had all kinds of craft beer and ciders and WINE. Pretty sure there was a full bar as well. REALLY WANT TRY THEIR LUNCH. Service was amazing by every employee. The shrimp in grits they were okay he said. They looked awesome. Great plate presentation. Most definitely will be back!

We were looking to stop somewhere during a road trip and Bonnie Blue popped-up as a nearby option with good ratings. We couldn't have been more pleased with the selection. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before a server, Dalton, asked if we were being helped. He apologized several times for the wait and even gave us complimentary baked items.
We ate the chicken + waffles with gravy and Cajun scramble. They were both delicious. We enjoyed it so much, that we stopped back at Bonnie Blue's for breakfast during the return trip through VA!

Super friendly staff, great atmosphere. We were driving from DC to Pennsylvania and picked Bonnie Blue to get lunch. Great food! The fried chicken was outstanding. The shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious, but I could have used less bacon. Highly recommended!

We stopped by around 11:30 am on a Saturday, the inside seats were almost full already.
The portion sizes were HUGE!
The fried chicken was crispy and tasty.
The pulled pork was also good, although not as amazing as the chicken.

My wife and I have eaten breakfast here twice and both times we exceptional. Recently I tried the biscuits and gravy, and I loved it. I also really enjoyed the sweet tea. The staff were friendly and professional which can be hard especially when they are busy. The building is old and cool but can get a little tight when the weather limits outdoor seating. If you're in the area check them out. I know I will be back

The folks here were friendly, quick to help, and just generally awesome. Went with servers recommendations for BBQ! Everything was great. Mac and Cheese was to die for. The fresh made deserts were the icing on a perfect afternoon meal.

Amazing experience at this place. Fried chicken and brisket were delicious. Sides and dessert really tasty too. We will definitely go back if ever in the area.

My friend had never been here, so I brought him for his birthday lunch. It was the perfect choice. The Carolina Cuban sandwiches were excellent. All of the waitstaff were very friend[y and our server, Luke was amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Chicken and waffles were amazing. We weren't huge on the pulled pork and potatoes, but we'd go back for the fresh bread and waffles (and chicken).

I'm a huge fan of the southern cuisine that Bonnie Blue prepared. We were there for the first time, and because of the inviting and convivial atmosphere, we really enjoyed our lunch there. Bonnie Blue is the place to go for delicious food served with a dash of Southern hospitality. The dishes had an excellent balance of flavor and were served promptly.   This Southern Market & Bakery will not let you down! I mean, I wasn't let down by Bonnie Blue, so maybe you won't be either!

Smoked to juicy perfection, the chicken, beef brisket, and pork were followed by a fantastic array of sweets. If you're in the mood for authentic southern food, you should definitely try it! The service, atmosphere, and meal were all excellent. Fun and kind employees made us feel quite at home, and the absence of any overt religious themes was a major plus. If you're looking for a barbecue joint where you won't be bothered by holy water or a man praying in the corner, look no farther than Bonnie Blue.

I'm from out of state, and every time I come into town to visit friends, we make it a point to stop here. The wait staff is super personable and friendly. The food is incredible. The prices are great for the quality! All in all, I'd recommend this place a million times over.

I was craving bbq and so we stopped here for lunch as my aunt lives In Front Royal and we were visiting the Patsy Cline house in Winchester. She said after 16 years of living in the area she’d always wanted to go but never had been. This place didn’t disappoint! The friendly staff and the food was amazing. We also had a peanut butter & lemon bar to go and both were great! Thanks for serving up friendly great food!

Love their breakfast! Such a cute place also right on the edge of downtown Winchester. Parking can be tricky especially when they are busy, so give yourself a few minutes to park and walk if you have too. There is a little parking lot across the street - I think you can use if there is no street parking.

The food was phenomenal (brisket and fried apples are a must!) but what really knocked this place out of the park was the service - Luke might be the best waiter I’ve ever had. Great service and an even better person. He had us laughing the whole time! Go in, and ask him about his driver improvement course. You won’t be disappointed!

Went here for breakfast a few days ago not knowing what to expect because I've never eaten here before. This place is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast was off the charts tasty and the service was A1. I will definitely be returning to try some of there bbq because I've only heard good things about it. Thank you guys
