Excellent location. You find your own table but staff will assist. Good food selection for brunch. Large portions- we couldn't even finish it. They also have seating outside.

Our server was very good. The food was delicious. I loved the fried green tomatoes. The soup was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had to ask for plates for the appetizer. The person who bought them to the table in a basket. Our server corrected the problem immediately.

First time there and so glad we made the choice to eat brunch there. Ashley was our server and she was Outstanding. They were packed and she always check on us and was so kind! Loved the food. I had the quiche of the day with salad and a peach prosecco drink and my husband had the Steve's breakfast. Everything was fresh and excellent! Home made everything. I was amazed. We are good cooks and know great food. This place did not disappoint. What a find! Excellent customer service! I am so happy we found this place!!

I'm never disappointed! The food is always delicious. Lovely place to eat outside and the staff is very polite and accommodating. Big step to go inside, and very small (but clean) restroom. So, it is not accessible inside. Best ruben sandwich I've ever had. Mom liked her breakfast.

My first time here and I will for sure be back. I was in town for the day and stopped in for lunch. I had the catfish with brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. I ate every last bit of this meal. I really wanted to try the fried green tomatoes and it was hard deciding because everything sounded really good. Definitely try the Georgia gold sauce if you stop in, I dipped everything in it and would have bought a bottle of it if they sold it. My server was very pleasant. They have a outdoor seating but it was a humid day so I sat inside. Prices are reasonable. Their brunch menu looked good too!

It was a beautiful day for a road trip to Winchester, VA. We were looking forward to enjoying lunch outside in the November sunshine. Our first choice didn't pan out and we then stopped at Water Street Kitchen - which should have been our first choice all along! We enjoyed our lunch on the Walking Mall and did a little people watching. Our lunches were very good (except I forgot to request lightly toasted on my Ruben), the fries were hot and plentiful. Our server was great! The receipt says Sizzler (18). He took very good care of us. My daughter enjoyed the Chicken Caesar wrap. Not the least expensive lunch we've ever had but we enjoyed our Water Street Kitchen experience.

We stopped in for lunch and it was great to sit in the outdoor eating area, which is dog friendly. The food and service were both excellent! We also enjoyed the view of this cute little town while eating.

Classic comfort food at a great price. It's located in a really cool old apothecary shop that still has a lot of the original drawers and large counter. Great selection of beers and drinks. Friendly serving staff.

This little restaurant is a hidden gem for those just passing through or visiting for whatever period of time. You will lot be disappointed. The food, the food oh the food and our waitress, Stephanie was excellent and super cool! My wife, daughter and I believe it was good enough to make it one of our top restaurants of all time! The cheese quiche, tomato bisque soup and the tine little birthday looking cake ….. mmmm

Crab cakes outstanding! Sides all delicious! Excellent service. Catfish (fried) was a bit too heavily breaded for me. I should have read the reviews first as the blackened catfish gets rave reviews.

Stopped in Winchester VA on our way to New York. Had a lovely dinner at a cozy restaurant in Old Town. It was a small dining area with a lot of attentive staff. Tons of wine and beer lined the walls around the room.
The pimento cheese deviled eggs were tasty but even better with boom boom sauce on them. My Rachel sandwich was dripping with thousand island sauce and coleslaw. It was delicious. The Philly cheesesteak was seasoned well with melty cheese.
Great place to stop if in the area.

I loved every part of my visit to Water Street Kitchen! I ordered the blackened catfish with greens and brussel sprouts and it was amazing! Even their upscale version of diet Coke was so good I ordered two to take home with me! The server (I did not catch his name) was amazing and seemed to be handling most (if not all) the tables. He was friendly, prompt and extremely efficient and had a great people presence. I highly recommend this restaurant while you are enjoying the downtown vibe. Just remember to check your meter while you are there! Mine only had an hour limit so I had to run out and put more money in.

Have eaten here many times over the years and love the food every single time! Huge portions and always delicious. The service has been sub-par every other time or so we go but that can be said at every restaurant probably. The beer and wine selection is great. The value for your money is stellar!

Such a fun spot! We went for lunch on a Saturday. It's a busy place so plan accordingly. Parking could be a challenge due to its downtown location but the short walk would be worth it! The restroom was clean and well stocked. The food was delicious and the atmosphere casual and comfortable. Look forward to returning!

If you are downtown on the walking mall, this place has great food! Clean, friendly service, and quaint atmosphere. The pot roast melt on rye, poppyseed salad, double cheeseburger, and key lime pie were all delicious. Alcohol also available. Highly recommend a visit.

First time here and we plan to go back. I had the berry salad with chicken and it was great. The mixed greens were fresh and a good mixture of green and red lettuce, blue berries, strawberries, and candied pecans. My wife had the quiche of the day and she really liked it.

The waitress was very nice and attentive. My tea cup was always refilled in time. The place was also very busy for lunch, so the locals also like it. It had a fun atmosphere.

Atmosphere was amazing, you’re overwhelmed by all the alcohol selections; which was a good thing.
Service is friendly, menu is simple, food is delicious, and again the alcohol selection!!!!
Clean place, plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Great spot tucked away in old town.
Highly recommended

The important part: the food was absolutely delicious! This was some of the best pot roast, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and gravy I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The crab cake was also amazing, as it had more crab than cake. The beer selection was generous. The lime coconut cocktail was also on point. The waiter was super friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was cozy and the music was soft enough to enjoy a conversation with your dining partner. We will definitely be back!

I've been here a few times all with great food and drink. Sitting both inside and outside (when its a bit warmer) we've always had a fantastic meal. Attentive staff and great selection. The only downside is it's so popular the wait times can stretch. Picking an off time to eat can certainly ease the problem but it is often packed noon to night (and rightly so).

First time here, but certainly not the last! We started first with the fried green tomatoes and hush puppies. Both were outstanding. The tomatoes were cut a little thicker than other places but stayed juicy. The hush puppies were sweet and the honey butter was incredible. The housemade Chipotle Ranch went well on both as well. They need to do fried pickles with the tomato batter!
For brunch, I had one of the specials, the Monte Cristo, and crispy brussel sprouts. I will hold my Monte Cristo standards to having French Toast now, it should be on their regular menu! The brussels were amazingly crispy. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak. The bread was a little soggy and though it could benefit from an additional cheese, but was seasoned well. He had the side salad with honey poppy seed dressing- the best salad dressing ever! They should bottle and sell.
The Harvest Mimosas were amazing. If you're going to have more than 2, highly recommend the carafe for the better deal. Trust me, you'll want more than 2! We can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu soon!
Also highly recommend Emaleigh as a server as well. She's very personable and made excellent recommendations. Next time, we'll be requesting her section for sure!
