I never got to to work with this company but the intake process was a nightmare. After losing our bookkeeper on short notice, we proactively contacted Hottel and Willis and set the appointment for a review with the objective of receiving a proposal for payroll, bookkeeping, quarterly tax planning and tax prep. After the 1 hour meeting, I left and was told that I would be hearing back with the proposal in the few days.

The following week, after not hearing from anyone, and about 4 days after I was told I would have an update, I called them to find out that the tax guy and his family was sick. No problem I said, I totally understand the world we are living in. Becky the secretary advised me that by the end of the week Friday I would hear back with my quote. Well Friday came and went and the following week rolled around. On Tuesday the following week, I sent and email following up stating that it had been a couple weeks not with little communication. Well 2 days later I have still received no communication from any staff member, and this is 7 days after I was promised " an update" which was already about 10+ days after my initial meeting. Its unfortunate. Communication goes ALONG way. I would have been willing to continue waiting, but with no responses, I figured its time to move on.

At this point, I feel like if I cant get any communication from them after I have sent emails requesting updates, I am sure the rest of the processes and systems might be similar.

I was very disappointed with this companies lack of communication, promise of updates and return calls, and weeks later, silence on the line.
