Floresta Animal Hospital

As a first time puppy mama, I have been super paranoid about finding a good clinic and vet for my furbaby. From my first phone call with Kathryn to Louie's first appointment with Dr. Burns, everyone in the clinic was so nice and helpful! Louie seemed very comfortable with Dr. Burns which is super important to me. Dr. Burns answered all of my questions and she was so easy to talk to. This has definitely become Louie's primary veterinary clinic :)

Have a 4 month old puppy that was lethargic and not eating. The office squeezed me in as a new patient the end of the day. Dr Burns examined my pup and treated her immediately. I took her home later that evening and returned the following morning. She did the necessary tests treated with antibiotics and fluids kept my dog there for the day to monitor her. I picked her up and took her home. Dr Burns personally called me each day after to make sure my puppy was getting better. The staff called me to see if I could just stop by so they could do a quick check on her. This is the only vet that I have been to in the past 50 years of having a dog that cared enough to call and make sure my dog improved. She did not do unnecessary tests to run up my bill. My puppy is doing better thanks to Dr Burns and her caring staff.

Dr burns & her staff are always so professional & caring. I have a senior 16 year old border collie. Dr burns was so gentle with her. She could have racked up a huge bill with blood tests & X-rays but dud not want to burden the dog with unnecessary & expensive procedures. She was very informative & dud a thorough exam. She has always put the well being if her patients first. We gave used dr burns even before she had her own practice. We recommend her highly. Thank you dr burns from Blake too :-)

Everyone was professional and made me feel important along with Koda, I Brag to everyone I know that has a dog or cat about the experience I had their! I can’t say enough about Doctor Burns and her staff. In closing I never had a vet along with her office that cared so much about my pet (Koda) health and even days after she recovered still call me daily for a few days asking and keeping track on how she was doing. To me I couldn’t ask for a better Vet!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been bringing my animals here for almost 5 years now. Dr. Burns and her team are the best I’ve ever seen! I can’t say enough good things about their care and diagnostic work. Very thorough and compassionate.

This veterinarian office is great. The staff is helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Burns is amazing, best vet!

The doctor and staff are awesome. They worked wonderfully with me and my buddy. This is the type of vet that will recommend only needed care to treat your pet, not treat their bank account. It's becoming a rare thing to find these days. Worth a drive if you have to, a blessing if close to you.

We have total peace of mind knowing that our dogs are in Dr Burns' care.

What a great place. I brought my cat pancake in for some skin irritation and flea rx renewal. Everyone was nice and helpful. Russ the doc and everyone up front really took care of us. Highly recommend for anyone needing a new trustful honest vet who just wants the best for the animals

She is a great vet with a great staff. My mom’s been going to her for quite some, and in my knowing her, shes come off as hard and stern but is most caring of all. Taking everyone’s concerns and opinions into consideration.

I have been going here for 11 years. Kobe gets great care from Dr. Burns.

Twice I have had sick dogs and they have bent over backwards to fit us into their busy schedule. The dogs have been treated without a lot of unnecessary tests and expenses and the staff has been helpful, pleasant and professional.

Update Review for Dr Burns-
Dr Burns and staff handled our dog with the expertise needed to get the exam, vacs, nail clipping, and matted hair removed. My GSD is a challenge at times and we appreciate the care recieved at Floresta Animal Hospital!

I always feel like the staff and Dr. Burns look at our pets as if they are members of their families and are always putting them first in their treatment of our fur kids. The service is fantastic and since moving all 3 of our dogs to Floresta they have become much calmer about going to the vet and are not as stressed out as they were prior at a different vet office.

We actually drive over 3 hours to have our pets seen at Floresta due to the high level of service and care that our dogs receive.

It feels like everyone who works at Floresta truly cares about your pet. Our one year old cat had an accident and needed to be looked at right away. Floresta was able to fit us in their busy schedule and take great care of her. We highly recommend Dr. Burns and her knowledgable staff.
